Frieza's ego really grew when he stopped his first haki blast. Little did he know, that merely a fraction of a destroyer's power. Toppo made him learn that the hard way.
Destroyer Toppo is my favorite thing to come out of the Tournament of Power that’s not named UI. I love the idea of taking a warrior known for this superhero persona and then forcing him to take on a role that’s the exact opposite. Hero has to play the “villain”, and he accepts that to survive. And when he changes, he goes on a rampage, shooting everyone and everything and trying to destroy. He eventually gets to a point where he knows he’ll get eliminated, but as long as there’s one less for Jiren to handle, that’s worth it to him, which is interesting. And as a plus, he does cause the prettiest sky color for the tournament to happen

Bruh, that bit of respect Beerus showed Gohan is where it's at, as a culmination from Battle of God's where Gohan was seen as fodder to Beerus. Now, he's like: "no, sorry.. Gohan. You fought well down there." And, Gohan showing his Destroyer God the respect he asks for by bowing to him. If your Destroyer God tells you you fought well, you best bow and appreciate it lol. Big Up our boy, Gohan. He's come a Long way from headbutting his Uncle Radditz.
Aside from beerus acknowledging gohan, i really love seeing how different beerus has become since he was introduced. He didnt care about anyone but whis before. Sure, he wants gohan and the gang to do well so he himself isnt erased, but you can tell he is a different character now
I love this episode obviously because of how Toppo tapped into Destruction Energy but also, how Beerus was observing how Toppo was using this new energy. It showed that Beerus had ions of experience in being a god of Destruction.

4:50 This part got to me a lot because I know what it's like to try to achieve something like in an occupation with good intentions and get stabbed in the back. Freiza is a perfect example of that. This is one of 2 reasons why I like Toppo now. Akira Toriyama will always be one of my heroes!!

I think it's mentioned in the exhibition tournament before or after Goku's first fight with Bergamo and Toppo that another one of their fighters (Jiren) was stronger than their current GoD who we now know was training Toppo. Jiren doesn't have God Ki though.

He does no wasted movements and energy consumption is minimal as per every fights he attend.
