The order of the blind bags to be opened is which one comes out on each layer of removal. You can just choose to open all at once rather than wait, but yeah the encouraged opening order is "in order you find them in"
@@xAnimeDreamsx the spit feature is just the same as any squeezy bath toy, you squeeze their head & the water shoots out the mouth I have over 100 LOL doll, I have all the series completed except 1 & 2 cuz I wasn’t collecting then 😁 only 3 left to go for the latest sports series which is basket ball!

My opinion on the Cassette box: I think it is a mix. I mean, "retro" is kinda in now, especially with those who have/like the hip-hop aesthetic. So, even if they don't know what a cassette is, or how it works, they still "know" what it is because it is "retro". The pretty, popping colours just add to the aesthetic. So really, cassette tapes are just an aesthetic now. XD
Yeah they are referenced all the time in pop culture, (I mean, Guardians of the Galaxy was a very popular family friendly movie, and the cassette tape got a reasonable amount of screen time for an object.) So I think a lot of older kids have quite a high chance of understanding it's usage. Plus, I think it's kind of an iconic symbol now. Like the floppy disk. Even if you don't know the floppy disk was even a real thing, or how it worked, the picture of one still let's you know you're saving computer files regardless of context.
As someone in education, I've seen first hand that lot of kids know what a cassette tape is because they show up a lot in movies and TV show, especially ones that take place in the 80s-90s. Plus, let's be honest, the whole "kids don't know what a cassette is" trope has been around so long that most learning what a cassette tape has become a rite of passage. I do think LITTLE little kids may not know because they don't really know what's going on half the time haha. I'd say that if there is a nod to "older audiences", they don't necessarily mean adults.
My daughter loves them..... trading outfits, color changing, pretend playing. The controversy is a little silly IMHO. They're "fashion" babies so the aesthetic is just part of the deal. None are really that bad and people get mad that the boys are anatomically correct but I mean.... they're babies. The tiny little nub on the boy babies is less offensive to me than pretending Ken has no genitals. Lol
That seems like a silly thing for people to get mad about 🤔 don’t most little girls have little brothers or cousins and already know what boy babies look like?
@@katelillo1932 i mean not really. I only had a little sister, and only children exist. But even then, we really do need to be less prudish as a society. The human body is weird only if we make it.
I like their aesthetic and they're high-quality dolls, the big sister versions are so high quality they remind me of Monster High dolls, the nails are perfectly painted and the outfits are detailed. The whole controversy thing just doesn't make sense to me, people don't get upset when little girl (not baby but...) dolls are shown to have chests.
My daughter loves these. She customizes her duplicates. The original gimmick was to discover if they spit, pee, or cry after feeding them water from their bottle. Only a few color change.
@@MikuruChan123 there’s been peeing baby dolls for years, I use to call them, “mouth & pee” dolls when I was little 👀😅🙈🙈🙈 they were actually called drink & wet dolls but I guess nobody told me 🙈🙈🙈 I would actually pierce holes in the bottom of baby dolls to turn them into, “mouth & pee dolls” 😹😹😅😋😋
@@kaitlando636 there were toys that did that in the '90s too. I'm not too crazy about these toys either, but you need to get off your high horse. You're only seeing things through rose-tinted glasses.
I collected LOL Dolls for a little while a few years ago (around 2017-2019) and my faves is a very special unicorn one AND I got a grown-up LOL doll, which a very special Crystal Star, still LOVE her to this day!!😍💖💖💖
I used to collect Barbie dolls. But that whole “never remove from box” thing proved challenging for me. Now I just use posca pens to make them look hideous. LOL 😂 😂😂
I used to do science experiments on my barbies. I hated them but people kept giving them to me. I launched one on a rocket and tested different chemicals on their hair. You should check out Jazza recent video he made a zombie barbie
When I was 5 I had a Barbie doll and I ripped it’s head of and pulled some of its hair out and hung its head on the ceiling after sharpie-ing on its face
@@bookwormbon482 not really a whole lot to it but besides being designed entirely by adults the main focus groups they'll test a big product line on isn't the kids of a targeted age group, it's the parents of said age group. In addition huge amounts of promotional products now go out to influencers, and while some are kid targeted a majority will be 'mommy bloggers', news programs, and press events like the national toy fair which you can't even get into without an invite or a press pass.
Omg thats so funny. One of my friends collects LOL dolls and the ONLY one she needs to complete her collection is the one you got 2 of!! 😂I showed her the video and she was like "I've opened so many of these to find that one and she gets two!?" 😭😅🤣 She customises the doubles, etc that she gets. While looking for the ultra rare she has customised 3 sets of doubles and triples!! ❤I love you so much Jackie! Love your grain from New Zealand! 💖🥰
I’d say it’s a 60s-70s Breakfast at Tiffany’s aesthetic for the movie one. Incorporating different eras and nostalgia is pretty common for toys. I think it’s appealing to the parents (those who actually make the financial sacrifice for a kid’s whims) and gives kids a cultural reference point. I had a record player growing up in the 80s-90s.
Omg you managed to get the freakiest ones! 😆 I didn't know they came in all these different packagings... I usually just find the basic ones at the Target I go to lol
When I was really young in the 80s, my sis and I always wanted the Strawberry Shortcake dolls. Each one had a different scent. That’s back when scratch and sniff stickers were popular in school. What can I say, we loved sniffing stuff. 😁
I so badly wanted a sticker album, never got one. Do you remember the plastic charm necklaces? I did have one of those and I think 3 charms. Oh and those horrible jelly shoes. So many memories flooding back. My mom won a strawberry shortcake play-doh kit. I loved it.
My niece loves these dolls and I’m gonna be honest I’m 19 and I love getting them for her and sitting with her while she’s opening it it’s kinda like we’re both collecting them together (and I’ve gotten one or two for myself ) 😂😂
Thank you for being normal when opening these!!! I have watched a few surprise openings with my daughter and the UA-camr is like "OMG this is the coolest thing ever". When you opened these your reaction was real and relatable.
I think the marketing for the Remix is pretty smart really. Yes the colours and product are targeted to kids but as a mom now and a child of the cassette era, I would buy this for my daughter as it also appeals to me! So MGA (the maker of LOLs) has done brilliant marketing on these ones!
My granddaughter does love the lol dolls, but her mom gets just as much fun out of collecting them for her. It reminds me of how they put humor in kids shows/movies for the parents to get. So appealing some to the parents probably makes them more likely to buy the dolls (and the insane variety of other collectible toys) for their kids. I know it does for my granddaughter and her mom.
When I taught 4th grade, on rainy days we’d stay inside for recess. The kids really got tired of watching SpongeBob SquarePants every time we had inclement weather. But I was cracking up nonstop, no matter how many times I’d seen the tapes. 😂😂😂
The bottles fill up with water if you suck it in put it in the water, while being sucked in then let go put it in the mouth and there is usually a little paper that shows everything the doll could possibly do. It either spits, tinkles, cries, or water comes out of the ears. So I think you got your 20 dollars worth. And it color changes. Sincerely, Olivia.C
I personally LOVE lol dolls I just love the cuteness of it and the way you don’t know what you get! Also maybe cus I just like them cus I’ve grown up with them
My daughter loves these! 😂 But she is already my tiny Mariah since she likes to ‘alter’ the ones that aren’t her favorites. The water thing is hilarious and not all of them do it, sometimes they are questionable, sometimes it’s just a different outfit, but not all of them do it. Little one likes all the different sizes/ages of the dolls.
My daughter always asks for them but as soon as she sees the list of what she could have got she decides that she wanted a different one to what she got and she too likes to customize them but not always successfully.
@@sarahdean3183 My daughter isn’t always successful either. They sometimes truly become ‘creatures of darkness’. 😅 That just is part of the fun for her though. She loves to watch Jackie with me.
The cold water color changes are fun to bring the dolls in the snow. It lasts a lot longer (because my daughter and I just cover them with snow and then play) and has a bright contrast against the white snow.
Jackie when you reveal the clue if you look close there's upside down wording on the bottom and the bottle helps tell if she cries, wets herself or spits. I went through the same thing when I first got these for my daughter 😊 .. my whole family says hi and we love watching you and we how your day is filled with happiness and kitty cuddles 😊❤️
Watching this is destroying my younger childhood💀 I used to be in love with these and made a collection, then I stopped playing with them and later on, (recently) got obsessed with 5 surprise unicorn squad and am currently building a collection. Edit: I used to know EVERYTHING about them so I understand (almost) EVERYTHING in this video.
Let's not forget the penis controversy. The mini boy dolls were anatomically correct and some people were going crazy over it. Then when MGA made their first male OMG doll, the big sistee/brother versions of these, people were speculating that it would also be anatomically correct. However, the boys weren't. Some people were actually disappointed by that, lol. 🤣
Don't forget the "Pregnancy" controversy. Remember the Barbie "Happy Family" doll line? That got discontinued because Mattel doesn't want "Pregnancy" to be mentioned in their Barbie franchise. Why exactly, I say skeptically?
I already watched so many unboxings for these dolls. I love the unboxings but I really don't get the hype, would never buy them and I actually don't like the esthetics of them. I love it when the unboxers don't get it either, that why I am here for. Supermwell done Jackie 😘
We sells these at work (Party City) and kids ask for them all of the time. Parents don't want to spend the money on them. They are popular and pricey. I'm so happy to see you do this because you teach me more and what to keep up with because trends change all of the time. Keep being awesome!
As someone who played with these allll the time- Unless it’s aa special type of series- normally you will either get, color change, crying, spitting (by squeezing the head), and if you get color change- you get both. Sometimes the clothes will also change color :D
I like to think there is a lol collector out there that freaked out at the beginning doll already knowing it was an ultra rare while Jackie does her "whatsthiswhatsthis". lol (Edit:......and then freaks out even more at the 2nd doll apparently....lol)
The containers can be activities and carriers in themselves. The bottle can be filled with water and the dolls can usually do one or multiple things like spit, cry, or pee 😂
Yea I was going to say this it’s the first thing my daughter checks when she opens them to see if it cries, spits or pees !! Lol this is not a lie!! 😂I remember when I first found out about it I was just as confused too!!!
Hey, Jackie, just an idea for your next art project! Since most of the Pokemon characters are based on different monsters and such like Yokai, what if you made a statue of a realistic, or semi-realistic, of said Pokemon in your own "Creature of Darkness" design? Also, the answer for the color reveal message is at the bottom right corner, upside down. Unless you've already saw that during the video. ^^;
I stopped myself too. I did buy a couple when I was feeling down and needed something to lift my spirits, and it did!! and I appreciate it too. However I prefer the OMG dolls. They are worth the money in my opinion and look great displayed. Yes I have over forty of them. And I want more!
The reason there’s three layers to unwrap is because each layer reveals something different to unwrap. It’s like pass the parcel. Unwrap a layer and open the item that’s revealed. Unwrap the next layer, open the next thing that’s revealed, and so on. The little clue is for their name, or a link to their name, if you look closely where your thumb was holding the paper, it gives you the answer upside down. 🔮 + ⭐️ = future star. My daughter used to love these, but she did get bored with them quite quickly, and are quite fiddly as you found out 😂 she preferred her Barbies, ponies and ever after high dolls. Xxx
The LOL dolls are from the same guy who came up with/started the Bratz dolls, that's about the same aesthetic. I for one loved my Bratz dolls because they were so outrageous lol 😄
When I started buying Barbies they were originally for my toddler, but when I saw the diversity they have now I was so excited I spent a lot of time finding and buying them. So now we own a crazy amount of them. It's collecting as in I can't stop myself from buying more, but we actually play with them instead of treating them like most collectables. Growing up there weren't many options and I never had toys that looked like me, so I guess collecting them now is kind of a "healing my inner child" type thing
I’m 15 and I collect lol surprises! It was so fun to watch nerdycrafter open them!! But honestly the whole controversy over the revealing color changeing clothes doesn’t bother me at all cause I did start collecting them when I was 10-11 so not too young but I understand if it was a very young kid having thosei understand. So in my opinion lol surprises are for sure for little older kids.
I’m 16 and started collecting back at season 1 but stopped just after season 3 came out. Now I am so confused especially with the colour changing ones as half of the characters are from previous seasons
I have a bunch of these and I'm nearly 40. I also collect Monster High, My Little Pony, other 80's dolls and toys, and Funko stuff of all kinds. I have a few Jujitsu Kaisen figurines too, and a bunch of varying nendoroids. I love Capsule Chix a WHOLE lot, but they never caught on :( My favourite thing about my LOL surprise dolls are the colour change. I feel like I get two dolls in one.
My granddaughter adores the Lol dolls, so for her next birthday I think I may have to get some for her. They look like they are right up her street. Plus we can bond over discussing what cassettes were. She will be thrilled! Thanks for the video Jackie. Personally I only collect Terry Pratchett books, so I'm pretty lame, but to each their own.
I love Jackie. I've always loved the nerdecrafter channel. She always make me happy when im sad. I used to always love lol dolls when I was little. Love you Jackie dont always test ur luck like that I hope u dont go bankrupt lmao
The klips is for the glasses to connect the pieces and the bottle is for making the dolls drink it. Then you press their heads to make them cry or something. ❤️
I started collecting monster high dolls recently and I loveeeee them now! Mostly got them to do customs but I need more supplies and I’m poor, so I have a great start lol. Frankie is my favorite of the dolls by far, but I think draculaura is my favorite in the shows & movies
Watching this was kinda nostalgic cuase when I was about 4 or 5 I acutely collected these I was obsessed I still have a couple btw they do not have spicey clothing some colour change and most of my colour changes only change the hair colour but recommend for kids
Hey Jackie! My daughter and I have been watching you for a few years now . We love your videos! The purpose of the water bottle is to see if the doll cries, spits, or pees 😆 Love you 💕
Yes indeed it is interesting 🧐 because in the a past video, Jackie said that she wouldn’t review lol dolls. I guess people change their minds. I’m super excited though
When I was bit younger I used to buy these sooo often! But I do have to say is I prefered the pets and big sister dolls (the tall ones) over the normal baby ones. And about you being confused on wether or not kids were their main audience, (2:15) when I would buy them to play with friends, we all knew what a cassette tape was and were very into the vintage kind of aesthetic they were going for.
I’m pretty sure the bottles are so you feed them water with it and you see if they pee, spit or water comes out of there ears. (Don’t judge if I’m wrong, I had one of these lol dolls AGES ago!)
I remember when they first came out and they were $8.99 (US) but they quickly changed prices as they became more and more popular. For around $10 I think they’re worth it but $15+…. No ma’am 😂
I agree. I occasionally find them on clearance an ill buy a few for my daughter. But I will not pay the full price. Just like mini brands. They keep going up. I buy them for my oldest she makes earrings and such so I feel a bit more justified as they are getting some use.
In Australia I have never really looked at there price never bought one but judging by the size what you get inside that stuff I think 8$ or less not like 20??? Edit: I just looked on the Kmart website they are 16$??? For 1
I was big into Monster High near the end of their heyday. I still think they are exceptional dolls and I'm sad they haven't come back yet. The OMG ones do seem a little adult to me... But the Rainbow High ones are also extremely high quality. But I mostly collect things like figma, figuarts and generally japanese brands. I would LOVE to see you put together one of the chitocherium figures, they're my current favorites because you get to fully assemble a figma-like figure and customize with face plate, decals etc. They're GORGEOUS!
The 'squirt feature' was actually part of the original surprise. The doll have either a cry feature, a spit feature, or both. At least they used to, I'm not sure if they still do. So that is why the bottle is included I believe.🙃
These dolls cost more than a 100 reais here in Brazil. I saw my niece playing with one and I thought about buying more for her....but I can't bring myself to spend so much on such a tiny doll 😖 Jen, from NexGen and thegreatbigtoybox collects and reviews LOL's
Love it how Jackie tells her true opinion, so innocent, and she ain't sugar coating it. Love The Nightmare Before Christmas reference. Oh, and the comment about the snow in Canada, I can totally relate 😅, no shortage on snow here! Love your videos, your content makes me happy. Hope you are doing well 😊
21:04 yes, you ARE missing something. Squeeze the bottles underwater and the suction and pick up the water so you can feed it to the doll. when you feed the doll, you can squeeze its head so it can cry PEE or spit. You have lots to learn jackeh😂😂😂
I love collecting anime figures myself, as well as plushies 💗 Haven't had a chance of getting any new ones recently cause I stock up on conventions and I'm staying away from them until it's more safe to be in crowded places. I love watching your videos, I tend to binge watch them whenever I'm feeling down ^~^
I was watching saying "it opens there, pull out that package. " My youngest grandchild was into them for awhile. She loved them and Shopkins and Friends Lego. They were fun to open because of the many pieces and dunking them in water to find out what action they performed. Dressing them up in each others clothes was fun. The very small pieces went missing quickly. The adults caused the problem because all the kids saw baby toys not what the adults saw. They had been out for ages before the cafuddle was caused.
Hey Jackie! I think you might try looking into the LOL OMG (Outrageous Millennial Girls) dolls, they are of the same doll line but have a more typical 'barbie' size with (I feel) more collectability. I recently got Gamma Babe for my birthday and I love her so much!
I REALLY love to collect squishmallows and real littles ❤ btw I’m not a fan of lol dolls but the dolls are kinda cute :3 I would give them an 8/10 now I like them more bc they have a lol surprise x hello kitty 50th anniversary
I knew nothing about these dolls until this past summer when at a family picnic a couple Dad's where complaining about them. They didn't like them because it encouraged their beautiful little girls to want to wear high heels, fishnet stockings , way to much make-up & skimpy clothes. So I bought a couple & did make overs on them & I had so much fun ( I got the ones with actual hair) making tiny little girl clothes. So now my nieces have real clothes for their lol dolls & their dads are happy. I used acetone to remove some of the over done make-up
Same here, I bought one without accessories on aliexpress, and made her a proper dress before giving it to a kid. I do like the Betty Boop vibes of them, but I wouldn't feel comfortable buying a blind-box with who knows what stuff they put on the doll.
I'm an 80s kid, so thankfully these collectable toy series weren't as much of a thing - I would have been a nightmare. I used to collect small porcelain and glass figurines, and also different paper notepads. I'd buy all these pretty notepads with cool graphics - I had a full drawer of them. I also had a collection of My Little Ponies and Barbies, but I played with them, so it wasn't strictly collecting. I still have most of my 80s toys in storage, I've been meaning to dig them out and do something with them. I mostly collect art, craft and jewellery supplies these days, and I really need to take an effort to maintain self-control, because I can end up collecting pretty much anything.
When they first came out, I found aspects of the designs reminded me a lot of Bratz and didn't much like the look of them. I watched GreatBigToyBox review them, just to see if they were worth me spending money on for my niece and felt they were far too wasteful with both packaging and moneys worth. I am glad they seem to have improved on the packaging. In terms of design and what you get, I really like Hairdorables more. I would love to see you get one of those and customise it! :D
@Leia U They did bring out a series where the packaging was less wasteful. Maybe it was the way it looked to me but the bags inside the ball looked/sounded more papery than plastic and if that's the case then that's an improvment. This things are still wasteful though.
I think kids deserve more credit. They’re not going to be so devoid of context that they can’t understand what a vintage aesthetic looks like. That kind of thing shows up in cartoons all the time.
I don't really collect figurines - I collect mini - tea sets and coffee mugs. And, I am DEF like you cause I'm a crafter, too. I can see crafts in all I ever buy, too. Love your channel, though. And, I hope you're doing well. TY for sharing your stories and all with us. 😻😉😻
I say lol dolls too, just to wind up my daughter. She gets to the point of shouting "ELL!!! OOOOH!!!! ELL!!!!" and I just respond with an "okay... So like, lol? Right?" It's so funny
Hey Jackie as an L.O.L doll collector I can tell you that there are many series and dolls to collect they already made a camper a car, a calendar, houses and even a jet for the L.O.L dolls there are the babies, the pets, the 5-6 yr olds that you unboxed, the tweens and the 17-18 O.M.G dolls Now for the collar changing not all of them do it but they do have a water surprise like spitting getting water out of their ears and tinkling Personally if mine color change in cold water I just throw them in the freezer wait for a couple of minutes and bam Btw the questions don’t relate to doll they usually are just like fun little questions and if they are the same then there is a possibility that the doll is either from the same club or the same doll But there is something ticking me off so the dolls of the color change series are usually from different ones for example daring diva is from the hair goals baby next door was supposed to be in the first L.O.L house pop heart was supposed to be in the under wraps series idk if I missed this series or you got a fake L.O.L doll
The color change series (much like the world travelers series) are all remakes from earlier series. No she did not get a fake one. You can clearly see that it's real because the fake ones are VERY obvious.
A part of me always gets low key sad feeling bad for Jackie everytime I see a toy she's reviewing, says how much she payed for it, and me thinking that I see the exact same toy (The LOL Remix) for MUCH cheaper at the DDs Discounts I work at ^^;
I have a small collection of these but I prefer the OMG line. I think it would defiantly be a good idea to customize the capsules. I do believe people have allot spare as they are too clunky to keep on display most of the time. It would be great to have some ideas to recycle and reuse them I'm sure allot of parents and kids have them just laying around :)
Back in the day I collected Bratz (and recently they came out with 20th anniversary dolls for those which I managed to snag a few of) and there was Monster High. I adore both of these lines of dolls very much. I still snag Monster High and Bratz when I find them in thrift shops/yard sales, etc.
I find the LOL dolls a little uncomfortable to stomach considering how provocatively they portray dolls that are supposed to be toddlers. I'm glad they shifted towards doing their OMG line, which are adult women that I find the style of dress at least justifiable for. Edit: The OMG series also doesn't really do traditional blindbags so the one you see is the one you get, which is good if you wanted a particular doll.
I agree! although I bought a pair on aliexpress to customize, I did make them proper kid-appropriate clothes, and not the fishnets and crop-tops and weird stuff you see. Seriously, the fact that they do have adult OMG dolls that can wear such fashions without being creepy just makes it all the weirder that they must have the toddlers and pets wear the same outfits (and I'm not a fan of dressing up animals as people either). I do not really like the big empty void eyes, but hey, I'm repainting the dolls I buy anyway.

I am definitely like that. Sometimes people will see trash and I see crafting ideas.
It's crazy the price differences are so huge in American and Canada! Over here the average L.O.L surprise doll is like $7-$10! Wow
My daughter loves these. She customizes her duplicates. The original gimmick was to discover if they spit, pee, or cry after feeding them water from their bottle. Only a few color change.
I swear that the peeing thing came from the Kelly dolls. >.>
Every toy nw days is themed to pee, slime, or poop. Its weird
Glad I was born in a year when toys were actually good and not weird lol
@@kaitlando636 there is always lego
@@MikuruChan123 there’s been peeing baby dolls for years, I use to call them, “mouth & pee” dolls when I was little
👀😅🙈🙈🙈 they were actually called drink & wet dolls but I guess nobody told me 🙈🙈🙈 I would actually pierce holes in the bottom of baby dolls to turn them into, “mouth & pee dolls” 😹😹😅😋😋
@@kaitlando636 there were toys that did that in the '90s too. I'm not too crazy about these toys either, but you need to get off your high horse. You're only seeing things through rose-tinted glasses.
Kinda love Jackie's luck to get doubles... even for ultra rares 😂
I want that kind of luck man XD
Lol
Lol yeeeesssss
🤣 LOL
As a fellow crafter and sculptor. Yes. Everything is a potential craft material.
I collected LOL Dolls for a little while a few years ago (around 2017-2019) and my faves is a very special unicorn one AND I got a grown-up LOL doll, which a very special Crystal Star, still LOVE her to this day!!😍💖💖💖
I used to LOVE these when I was little. I just... WOW it's super hard to get ultra rares. Jackie, u have talent 👏
I used to collect Barbie dolls. But that whole “never remove from box” thing proved challenging for me. Now I just use posca pens to make them look hideous. LOL 😂 😂😂
I used to rip of all their clothes and give them beards and chicken pox 💀💀💀
I used to do science experiments on my barbies. I hated them but people kept giving them to me. I launched one on a rocket and tested different chemicals on their hair.
You should check out Jazza recent video he made a zombie barbie
@@katyaochoa I painted on them for some reason
I used my Breyer horses to trample them to death. And I made sure the aunts who gave them to me knew I didn't like them. Savage
When I was 5 I had a Barbie doll and I ripped it’s head of and pulled some of its hair out and hung its head on the ceiling after sharpie-ing on its face
As someone that works in toys the big secret is 'All toys actually target adults' because mostly adults are the ones who spend the money.
Good point. I never thought about it that way. 😆
Watching her unwrap these LOL dolls felt like watching a parent trying to figure out what type of toys their child is into.
I think the exact same thing every time my daughter opens one. 😂
So ture
My little sister loves these things, I really dont like them 😂
Bikeni is unkind Firenze!
Yessssss
I follow some IG account that talk about LOL dolls! They often take inspiration from vintage high fashion, it's super cool.
Bro I I got lol dolls too😂😂😂😂😂
I’d say it’s a 60s-70s Breakfast at Tiffany’s aesthetic for the movie one.
Hi
Cas it's the fake ones
Ummmm oki
Are U fake??
I dunno
When I was really young in the 80s, my sis and I always wanted the Strawberry Shortcake dolls. Each one had a different scent. That’s back when scratch and sniff stickers were popular in school. What can I say, we loved sniffing stuff. 😁
I so badly wanted a sticker album, never got one. Do you remember the plastic charm necklaces? I did have one of those and I think 3 charms. Oh and those horrible jelly shoes. So many memories flooding back. My mom won a strawberry shortcake play-doh kit. I loved it.
I had those dolls as well
@@tiffanymichaels2429 The jelly shoes hurt like heck. But they had a neat smell. 😁
Your reactions were the best LOL I collect these dolls, mainly the bigger fashion ones.
My niece loves these dolls and I’m gonna be honest I’m 19 and I love getting them for her and sitting with her while she’s opening it it’s kinda like we’re both collecting them together (and I’ve gotten one or two for myself ) 😂😂
That's precious. I give all my doubles to my neice. And she has got a ton out of me
Thank you for being normal when opening these!!!
Same. My daughter loved LOL and I ended up loving them too. So we would sometimes unwrap together.
Moriah lol
I went through the same thing when I first got these for my daughter 😊 .. my whole family says hi and we love watching you and we how your day is filled with happiness and kitty cuddles 😊❤️
opening these my entire life I knew what to do but you did well for your first time!
@@CooperGal24 Because Barbie represents the perfect life, lol
@IntercityLisko Hmmm. I only see this last comment
Also the first doll she had, has tattoos and a thong after the water color changing, lot of parents mad about that one
The boys still are anatomically correct.
I love the beginning intro with the confusion. The word confused flying through the screen
But why tho?
@@mixhyena5161 I don’t know 😹 My little one and I just giggle because it’s so silly
Yea I was going to say this it’s the first thing my daughter checks when she opens them to see if it cries, spits or pees !! Lol this is not a lie!! 😂I remember when I first found out about it I was just as confused too!!!
@@mixhyena5161 I said the same thing when I saw Baby Alive for the first time.
Hey, Jackie, just an idea for your next art project!
Since most of the Pokemon characters are based on different monsters and such like Yokai, what if you made a statue of a realistic, or semi-realistic, of said Pokemon in your own "Creature of Darkness" design?
Also, the answer for the color reveal message is at the bottom right corner, upside down. Unless you've already saw that during the video. ^^;
WHY AM I SUCH AN LOL NERD- I used to collect these dolls, and FROM THE MOMENT I saw the blurred sticker, I knew it was precious 😩
I love Capsule Chix a WHOLE lot, but they never caught on :(
My favourite thing about my LOL surprise dolls are the colour change.
Humble brag. You know Terry Pratchett is totally cool, lol
The purpose of the water bottle is to see if the doll cries, spits, or pees 😆 Love you 💕
Yes, Jackie, we would Love to see you make an environment in these Pokeballs!
Yes......🙄that would be soooooo cool Jackie
Yes indeed it is interesting 🧐 because in the a past video, Jackie said that she wouldn’t review lol dolls. I guess people change their minds. I’m super excited though
My lol dolls are so pretty and I can’t stop playing with them 😂
OHH I used to collect these! :D
I still have all of mine.
It's the second day of Chinese New Year here in Malaysia 🇲🇾. Wishing everyone a prosperous year!
These used to be a big deal here, never got the hype though.
Also, could you please say hi to Sika? Hope you're both doing good
I would collect these just because they've always looked so fun to open xd
I’m pretty sure the bottles are so you feed them water with it and you see if they pee, spit or water comes out of there ears. (Don’t judge if I’m wrong, I had one of these lol dolls AGES ago!)
I remember when they first came out and they were $8.99 (US) but they quickly changed prices as they became more and more popular. For around $10 I think they’re worth it but $15+…. No ma’am 😂
You are lucky they are $22 - $29 here
For 1
I just got series 5 boys for $7 amazon
Aqui no Brasil custa 150,00 reais em torno de 30 dólares
I collect hobbies lmao, if it's crafty I am likely to want to try it. Great video as usual
Same!
Monster High is coming back.
Aww, when my dad left.
, you where like a help. Your vids allways makes me feel happy and I wish you the best of life!❤❤❤❤
The 'squirt feature' was actually part of the original surprise. The doll have either a cry feature, a spit feature, or both. At least they used to, I'm not sure if they still do. So that is why the bottle is included I believe.🙃
I swear Jackie could literally unbox anything and i’d find it interesting
These dolls cost more than a 100 reais here in Brazil. I saw my niece playing with one and I thought about buying more for her....but I can't bring myself to spend so much on such a tiny doll 😖
Jen, from NexGen and thegreatbigtoybox collects and reviews LOL's
Love Jen! I don't collect dolls or toys but still love watching her. She does such a thorough job describing the toys, and she's just fun to watch!
I love lol dolls so I love this videooooooooo
I love them too! Nothing will ever replace MH for me but the quality is up there
I REALLY love to collect squishmallows and real littles ❤ btw I’m not a fan of lol dolls but the dolls are kinda cute :3 I would give them an 8/10 now I like them more bc they have a lol surprise x hello kitty 50th anniversary
I love how those pickle just sitting there in the background next to salt it’s like hiiii
Hey Jackie, love your content but also love the joy Sika brings. When can we see you two making magic again? Hope all is well with you and the family.
I was thinking that too 😅
I'm an 80s kid, so thankfully these collectable toy series weren't as much of a thing - I would have been a nightmare.
Uh yeah..I have all 2344 dolls they have currently produced. I'm 40. I'm not kidding.
I have been collecting the lols and they are really nice quality!
I like how Mr.Aizawa is just behind the pillow looking out it's just funny, xd
WHERE IS SIKA??!!! WE DEMAND THE HUMAN VERSION OF BIRB.
WE NEED HER JACKIE
btw love the vid
I love how they switched to paper wrappers
I don't really collect figurines - I collect mini - tea sets and coffee mugs. And, I am DEF like you cause I'm a crafter, too. I can see crafts in all I ever buy, too. Love your channel, though. And, I hope you're doing well. TY for sharing your stories and all with us. 😻😉😻
I say lol dolls too, just to wind up my daughter. She gets to the point of shouting "ELL!!! OOOOH!!!! ELL!!!!" and I just respond with an "okay... So like, lol? Right?" It's so funny
Hey Jackie as an L.O.L doll collector I can tell you that there are many series and dolls to collect they already made a camper a car, a calendar, houses and even a jet for the L.O.L dolls there are the babies, the pets, the 5-6 yr olds that you unboxed, the tweens and the 17-18 O.M.G dolls
Now for the collar changing not all of them do it but they do have a water surprise like spitting getting water out of their ears and tinkling
Personally if mine color change in cold water I just throw them in the freezer wait for a couple of minutes and bam
Btw the questions don’t relate to doll they usually are just like fun little questions and if they are the same then there is a possibility that the doll is either from the same club or the same doll
But there is something ticking me off so the dolls of the color change series are usually from different ones for example daring diva is from the hair goals baby next door was supposed to be in the first L.O.L house pop heart was supposed to be in the under wraps series idk if I missed this series or you got a fake L.O.L doll
The color change series (much like the world travelers series) are all remakes from earlier series.
No she did not get a fake one. You can clearly see that it's real because the fake ones are VERY obvious.
Precious came from the big teal ball that came with doll, pet, baby sister, and several outfits and a fizzy shell inside.
A part of me always gets low key sad feeling bad for Jackie everytime I see a toy she's reviewing, says how much she payed for it, and me thinking that I see the exact same toy (The LOL Remix) for MUCH cheaper at the DDs Discounts I work at ^^;
Yeah she does seem to spend the Highest amount for EVERY single item. It's like she never sees things on sale?
When Jackie said "I need consent" I cried like 😭❤️ so pure
OMG LOL is it just be or is it entertaining to see nerdecrafter figure out the dolls lol
FINALLY, SOMEONE WHO GETS IT THESE DOLLS ARE SO GROSS!!!!
They sure are
I agree! although I bought a pair on aliexpress to customize, I did make them proper kid-appropriate clothes, and not the fishnets and crop-tops and weird stuff you see.
I just saw your Holy Carp pillow and my night has just gotten better
