Platinum Cure Silicone Inhibition Test and Registration Keys

Small scale test while making registration keys for my mask mold.
Possible inhibitors I used during sculpting are 99% alcohol, Odorless Mineral Spirits, and Air Duster residue.

Im new to mask making, can you tell me more about registration keys? What are they and what exactly are they used/needed for?

Victoria Pereira ok so when you are making a two part silicone mold with a rigid jacket mold the silicone is soft and can move around, but when you add registration keys it locks both molds together so that way the silicone mold is as close to what it's original shape used to be. You can see later on when i'm casting my mask one of the registration keys wasn't lined up and deformed and warped my casting. Hope this helps thanks for watching!
