    Herve Renard (Harvey FOX) has it in him to to play a great 2026 World Cup, no matter the Team he will be coaching. I'm not saying the Final or even 4th Place but the Man uses his brain well enough, and has proved it at least with 4 National Teams.
    The only Coach to beat World Champion Argentina as head coach of Saudi Arabia.
    No other National Team in 2022 beat Argentina!

      Why would Southgate tarnish his reputation getting involved over there. The fact is most Brits don't even know that there's a mens national team in America. American media has probably artificially inserted Southgate's name in this debate. Nobody English applying for the job.

    Gareth SouthGOAT will get USMNT to playoffs at the next 4 major tournaments, atleast 2 finals with quarters at the worst. Because it was all due to his amazing coaching and tactics that the most valuable international roster managed to beat San Marino 87 times, he made Jude Bellingham score that bicycle kick and I'm sure he could do the same with any player from the US! He will patiently wait till the 135th minute to make his first sub and jedi mind trick his way through penalty shootouts, definitely the #1 candidate

    Gareth Southgate has the BONIFIED Pertinent Experience that the USMNT needs Urgently.
    With Southgate the USMNT will have a great 2 year preparation for the World Cup.
    The Man just played the Euro Final against Spain and was great I may add.

    America will get one of two types of coaches.
    A mercenary who is at the end of their career and is coming purely for the money and once the World Cup is over they will no doubt leave. (aka they won't be there for the long haul)
    Or two an average coach for an average team. (You are not gonna win it).
    Any top class coach will be managing a top domestic team somewhere in the world as that offers more money, status and chance of winning silverware.
    So you may as well give it to someone in your own country who will be proud to do it and will do their very best with the squad of players that they have and who wants to be a part of the American Soccer set up.

    Us as Americans sometimes we tend to idolize people or things but a legend like him is like tom brady coming to coach these young men are going to listen to every word and develop confidence like crazy and i honestly think if tt came we'd be decent but our boys will finally learn to play with the heart

      @@nicolebrown5987 Yup spitting facts and telling the truth got them blacklisted. And you’re right the team needs a coach who wants to win but unfortunately that’s not what the federation cares about all the federation wants is a coach that will obey them blindly on top of all that all they care about are more millions in their pockets as they really don’t care about the growth of the sport in the country and what do you get by doing that all? You get a whole bunch of lazy, arrogant, entitled guys with no heart😒. The federation doesn’t want to put in the time, effort, and money in finding kids that have true passion and skill for the game.

    When the Moderator gives the best analysis then you have to ask yourself: "WTF was I doing ?"
    Southgate did that with England, and it is almost Exactly what the USMNT needs.
    An qualified Coach that will make the Team MATURE AND PRODUCE FAST, because there are a lots of steps in this process.
    Language is important too!

    Wilfried Nancy has some strong points in is Profile, but maybe he didn't prove yet he's worthy of coaching a National Team. The Task might be bigger than his experience.
    He has the fundamentals, but I don't see him for example getting over a strong African National Team.

  • @scottsmith8381

    Why is Patrick Viera on this list? He has never managed a team to a winning record, nor has he ever created a system that fosters goal scoring chances. No team of his has ever averaged more than 1.1 goals per game. He plays a defensive possession system where the possession seems to be designed just to prevent the opponent from scoring, as opposed to developing goal scoring chances. This is not a recipient for success. Also, everywhere he has gone, the teams got better after he left.

  • @trorisk
    @trorisk 2 місяці тому +1

    Arsène Wenger? He has been retired for 6 years now.
    In my opinion, Wilfried Nancy and Hervé Renard are the 2 best possible choices (with a salary compatible with what the USSF can offer). I'm removing Henry because I doubt he wants this job.
    No USMNT fan wants Southgate. Why is he on the list?

  • @USmensnationalteam

    Charlie, you should know better. When it comes to international tournament football, the style of play is not the most important factor. I personally prefer a coach who is capable of making tactical substitutions and changing formations winning international tournament football, instead of a manager who makes these decisions in club football. Who is available Joachim "Jogi" Löw is a German football coach and former player. He was the manager of the Germany national team from 2006 until 2021. During his tenure as manager, he led Germany to victory at the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil and the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup in Russia. He should be the next USMNT manager.

    I don’t see how Poch is an option. His football requires incredible fitness. I don’t understand how you do that for international tournaments with limited prep time without injury risk.
    If I’m a club coach, I don’t want Poch coaching my players at an international level…

    • @G10-n7f
      @G10-n7f 2 місяці тому +1

      🧐I don’t think that’s the reason for Poch’s lack of consideration for the job. The reason why Pochettino wouldn’t be a good choice is because other than his successful Tottenham years his PSG stint was underwhelming as he won the league title without a problem but he always came up short in the champions league, mind you he had a very talented squad with a lot of egos. Then there’s his year with Chelsea and although he managed to finish the season in the top six prior to that his season was just terrible. And would the USA really want a guy that doesn’t have the drive to go for the win (paraphrasing “if we get to penalties we might have a chance”🙄) when the team clearly have a lack of drive and mental fortitude problem right now🤔

    The Question is: WHO IS BEST TO COACH THE USMNT?
    I'ts NOT, who do you wish would accept to.. if he was interested.
    The 1st question is to the Professionals/Experts on the Panel.
    The 2nd is usually asked of FANs who play Fantasy Games.
    If we needed FANTASY answers we could simply tune in to Game Apps.
    Simple.
    Stop wasting time with Analysis that even the Moderators knows are a Waste of time.
    If you're a former USMNT Player, you must mature to the level of ANSWRING the QUESTION ASKED OF YOU.

    • @G10-n7f
      @G10-n7f 2 місяці тому

      True. But Southgate wouldn’t be a good choice for the USA. Sure the guy has made it to a few finals and the latter knockout stages of World Cups/Euros (got to this euro final by luck because England was underwhelming to say the least, if their opponents were clinical and serial to decent goal scorers England would have been eliminated in the group stage/also he has major problems with game management, player management, tactics, not to mention player favoritism which the US have a major problem with that right now.)

    , let’s reverse engineer this train of thought. Usmnt is a corner kick own goal away from losing to Jamaica and a two assist performance from Gio who everyone on this panel
    Said wasn’t up to snuff away from a shambolic loss, this came down to Gregg’s terrible predictable outside to inside football. And we can draw the same parallel to Jude hitting a last second overhead bike to save England from a disastrous QF ruound exit. England had to call upon the likes of Ivan Toney and cold Cole to save them and this was only bc southgate finally got out of his own way to play them. He IS GREGG only
    With much much much better players apart from pulisic and maybe balo. But you see where point lies. It’s an awful take that is shallow and without the bigger picture taken into consideration.
