I loved the episode where Florence was drunk and sprayed the guy with club soda while George was beating him up for trying to sell him some dodgy vans. 😂
I wish they had included the scene where George teaches Tom how to "think on [his] feet" like a black person: George: "Hey, Florence! Your cookin' tastes like dog food." Florence: "That's 'cuz I'm cookin' for a chihuahua." Me: 😄😂🤣
There was nothing like watching The Jeffersons when I was elementary school. Get home from school waiting for it to come on after doing my homework. The Jeffersons were my life. It killed me when I moved to the next time zone and my bed time was was when came on. It killed me.
Florence:”What’s going on???” Louise: “Felicia thinks Mr. Bentley is going to marry him!!!” Florence:”Where’d she get a dumb idea like that???” Louise points to George and Florence calmly replies:”Oh direct from the factory!!!” George snidely remarks:”Look, Florence, we don’t need your two cents!!” Florence coldly replies: “ You need all the cents you can get!!” One of the best exchanges in television history.
Sanford , Jefferson's, All in the family, Good times don't make them like this anymore everybody is to politically correct if you say the wrong thing you get canceled talk about a group you get canceled
The irony is that George was the one who INSISTED on hiring Florence. Louise didn't even want a maid.. So in the long run George created his OWN chaos...😏
God Thank you for keeping Marla Gibbs with us and letting her get her star ⭐ on the Hollywood Walk of Fame..I love Florence, when she wasn't in an episode in the earlier seasons I was sad! 💐
Greatest sitcom of the 70's by far. I'm rewatching currently on Amazon Prime, have not seen these episodes since my childhood. (I'm 48) I find myself tearing up in some of the emotional scenes! Usually in the moments when conflict is put aside and love for each other is expressed. Absolutely nothing this brilliant, funnt, decent, and kind-hearted today.
Yeah...when Florence puts that hand on that hip, and looks over at George... you know those gears are grinding in her head for that comeback on George.
Some of my favorite Florence comebacks were when George would tell her to get the door. For example- George: There's the door, Florence. Florence: It sho is! George: Florence, why don't you get the door? Florence: Cause I ain't expectin nobody! Lol!
They don't make comedy's like this anymore! Thursday nights, mom made dinner, we'd sit and eat and after dinner watch The Jefferson's at 8 and bedtime by 9. Times were better back then!!
You know how many times I try to find a video where it’s George vs. Florence! Finally it’s here! Thank you Norman Lear! I’m currently a writer and you have always been my inspiration. Thank you for all that you have done to bring quality TV
I know right!? I have been waiting for someone to do this! George and Florence are up there with Fred and Esther, Martin and Pam and Al Bundy and Marcy Darcy.
Florence had to be the most Sassiest Lady on Television in the History of Television,😅still Hilarious and more funny than most of these shows out here 2 day! 🥰❤️❤️❤️

She was priceless. Best casting ever!!!!
I would love to see the bloopers for The Jeffersons
@@rriddick8571 u know those bloopers have to be filled with the most funny lines and big laughs
George & Florence verbal arguments were a higher class version of Fred G. Sanford & Aunt Esther. 😄
That's a great point!!! I think Martin and Pam were more of an urban, hip hop version
I never thought of that, but that is a great point, thank you.
@@oneilmackey1155 And Al Bundy and Marcy Darcy were the white versions LOL! I think all three were influenced heavily by Fred and Esther tbh.
@@kendallrivers1119 LOL 🤣👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

I loved the episode where Florence was drunk and sprayed the guy with club soda while George was beating him up for trying to sell him some dodgy vans. 😂
That's the episode of Louise Gets Her Way By Hiring Florence when her apartment building got burned down and Louise hires Florence behind Goerge 😂😂😂😂

Love Florence and George in the same scenes. Never a dull moment.
The irony is that George was the one who INSISTED on hiring Florence. Louise didn't even want a maid.. So in the long run George created his OWN chaos...😏
George wanted a maid and hired her but by the third season he wanted Florence replaced. Louise wanted to keep her
Among the best episodes of the was Louise vs Florence though...it was the copper smelting one.
😂😂😂 True 💯
George loved having Florence around, he loved himself a good verbal exchange and she was his sparring partner.
I love how Louise was hiding her laughter when that guy was laughing his crazy laugh.
Oh yes, so did I 😂
Lol I see it too 😂😂
Yeah that was the best part. She does that a lot in some of the exchanges between Marla Gibbs and Sherman Helmsley. So funny
Good old days of great 📺
The entire cast was brilliant...but let's face it...we all hoped for a good Florence episode!😍
Facts! 💯💯💯

What surprised me is that Isabel Sanford is 21 years older than Sherman Hemsley.
Her and mother Jefferson
Some of the insults she threw at him he had coming but she still got away with a lot lol
A whole lot! 😂
40 years on and still makes me laugh.
They don't do shows like those anymore
Sooooo funny, maid got some guts offending the boss that pays her 🤣🤣🤣
Some people (bosses included, not to mention wise guys & flippant idiots) need to be told off & put in their places. Hint-Hint🤔😵🙀
@@davidbetsey2437 Aaaaaaaaaamen! Need a good kick in the teeth with a verbal beatdown!

A big part of the show was based on that based on the fact that Georg gave everybody that energy you must not be familiar with the show, obviously..

Hi Rachel how are you doing
Trying to remember the show where there was a 'Raquel@, I think. Another comedy with the Raquel character being a sassy maneater-gogetter.
Just remembered the show was Room 222---Jackee something.
Her and Aunt Esther.
Idk but Louise was so beautiful 😻
My favorite show was Florence, George and Billy Dee Williams that one was PRICELESS.
Florence, Jefferey, and Niles were the best butlers and maid with the best one liners and come backs! The shows were better with them in it! 😂😂😂
Yes
How could you forget Benson? Lol.
What about Alice and Hazel

This dude would give Kawai Leonard a run for his money in the "funny laugh" department.
Can you believe Mr. Lear turns 100 on July 27th, 2022?
Florence's guest was King George from Coffy
Good Entertainment, Never gets old.
