Wow, I remember when I was a kid I asked my parents for the Kershaw Designs motor mount and motor/ battery combination for my 3905 Emaxx for Christmas. I mowed lawns to make the money and ended up buying a used Revo 3.3 instead. Sad to hear he passed away. I think the two brushed motors came from brushed 18v Dewalt drills, and he had videos on properly breaking the motors in, under water. Thank you for the forgotten memory.

My first “real” RC is my Summit which I still have. I LOVE it. I have the Kershaw Designs dual motor mount on mine with two stock titan 775’s and 4s lipo. I also have the widening kit (not installed). It’s got so much power, I’m currently in need of a front diff due to catching some ice and snapping an outer pinion. This is a beast machine all around. Glad this one is back in the show. Long live the Summit!

I remember this RC build. I watched it before my son was born and remember dreaming about driving RC trucks with him some day. He just got his first RC truck this year for Christmas 😁
I am so excited to see this thing again. This truck made me buy a summit. I had a castle creations mamba monster 2 combo with the 2200kv brushless motor on mine and it would destroy the diff's every time I drove it. I upgraded the diff's to a full aluminum setup and went back to the 775 titan motor. I was never able to keep it all togeather with the brushless. I later heard if you change the diff's to the E-Revo bulkheads and differentials it will take the torture. Also turn the brake down

Oh wow the legendary Summit is back! I remember the floating Summit out in the freezing creek. And I remember that video made me jaw drop so hard that was probably the one that got me interested in this channel and I've been ever since. I shown that video to so many people. Really glad the Summit is back and it's nor brushless too! Be prepared to change some back diff ring gears. I've got the ERevo (which I love to the bits, gave me so much joy in the years), a brushless one of course. It has so much raw power.... so much fun. Tip: use ceramic hybrid ball bearings for the diff pinion, helps with the durability. The pinion will move less under torque and the ceramic will wear much slower too. Changed a lot for me.

The floating summit video I’m pretty sure was the first video I saw on the channel. The song in the video, which I think was by Two Thirds, was the reason I got really into music by independent producers. It’s funny to think back and see how small things in your past can define your present life. Anyway, it’s great to be back watching your videos that inspired me when I was young to do what I love. i've been watching for years. Watching take summit through water is the reason I bought mine. Mine's in pcs with a snowplow on it. It's upgrade is pushed back because my grandson needed an rc like grandpa, but he required tire chains and big tires. So a year and half later his truck is all done. Sad part is I think I have as much money in his 4x4 slash as my XMAXX cost me. It gets better he breaks his truck and my stampede same day. I am slowly learning kids with 11.1 batteries equal broken RC's. His truck is fixed mine isn't, but I still have my MAX. I do love the RAMINATOR. Love your videos what got me into RC's. You and Kevin Talbot are my favorite on youtube. I may do gas powered again, would love to see the look on my grandson's face, he says my XMAXX is scary, but he wants the little maxx.
Maybe this is an unusual comment, but I particularly like the character of the sound that this one makes when it's under power & accelerating. It's very cool to hear the gears at their various RPMs, the motor effortlessly winding & so on. Then again, I'm also a big fan of snugly attaching a Gopro to a rig & letting the stereo mics pick up the sound mechanically, as well as acoustically. With headphones, it's incredibly immersive.

I've been watching for 5 years and during that entire time, have been wanting to get into RC... I have enough hobbies to choke a horse, but one more couldn't hurt! :) I just don't know where to start! 2 wheel drive slash or a crawler... They all look like they would be lots of fun. The UL-19 Hydroplane also has my attention... I binge-watched season two of You Tube Gold and enjoyed that! I think you guys should just make Krazy Joe the FOREMAN and call it good... ;) That is a great show and a season three would be cool, but I can see where the time and inconvenience to create yet another would be a strain... Loading Kings is great to! Thanks for staying true to the hobby and providing such a great way to learn about the world of RC! You have a great bunch of friends and I wish you all well for 2020! My compliments to your wife, she's a pretty fine partner!

I just spent a crap-Tom of money on RC in the last couple months. I built a sweet looking Bandit and picked up one of Traxxas’ Bigfoot trucks with the Ford truck body. You have so many great RC’s it’s hard to say which one is my fave. Really like the rat-rod summit though!

Man I missed this thing 🤟 so glad you brought it back to life. I just tossed a tekin rx8 I got from a buddy into my slash while i save up for the T8 motor. My all time favourite rig of yours is your orange blazer so i made it my 2020 goal to do a tribute build of it hahaha I plan on tossing the RX8/T8 combo into the blazer once I get the motor 🤟

I've been watching for 5 years and during that entire time, have been wanting to get into RC... I have enough hobbies to choke a horse, but one more couldn't hurt! :) I just don't know where to start! 2 wheel drive slash or a crawler... They all look like they would be lots of fun. The UL-19 Hydroplane also has my attention...
I binge-watched season two of You Tube Gold and enjoyed that! I think you guys should just make Krazy Joe the FOREMAN and call it good... ;) That is a great show and a season three would be cool, but I can see where the time and inconvenience to create yet another would be a strain... Loading Kings is great to!

Aww snap, no more Kershaw Designs! I have that dual motor setup for my Summit as well. Thanks Medic, I think I might resurrect mine in the future. I need to wait awhile though. I just spent a crap-Tom of money on RC in the last couple months. I built a sweet looking Bandit and picked up one of Traxxas’ Bigfoot trucks with the Ford truck body. You have so many great RC’s it’s hard to say which one is my fave. Really like the rat-rod summit though!
