Terrific summit. Well edited 👍 All of your videos gave me inspiration to climb the Abels, hike capes, waterfalls & lakes. Keep up the awesome content 😊
Wonderful views. Good mix up of tracks. A must doo. Thanks for sharing and inspiring us. We did St Patrick's Mountain, Loved that.. Split Rock again but this time did the full circuit. Just stunning the forest through there.. Max is straight onto planning the next walk.
@@sergianic I was tempted to head up into the Tyndalls on my recent trip, but I decided it would be better to save it for a longer trip over 2-3 days and explore the area. I've also done some low altitude walks out west (Kelly Basin, Henty dunes exploration, Montezuma falls, Hogarth falls for example), but the last two were about 10 years ago haha.
Yeah not totally sure aha! Those trigs would have been used for surveying, so maybe that location was easier for some reason. I know there used to be a township in the area (called Dundas), but it is now abandoned. Perhaps that trig station was visible from the old town, but that's pure speculation.

@@LucasChamberlain How's your knee?
@@sandyanders-tassieadventur7175 All good now.
@@LucasChamberlain Have you done the full Chauncy Vale walk up to Flat Rock Lookout?
No not yet unfortunately.
Great walk Lucas. Another one on the list for me.
Thanks Craig 🙂
Nice bit of geology commentary... dolerite... Jurassic no doubt
Yeah I think dundas and Mt Sedgwick would be the only two mountains in the area capped with dolerite. I might be wrong though haha.

Great to hear! I actually really enjoyed st Patrick's Head, a lot more than I was expecting. And Split Rock is a wonderful area 🙂👍
Amazing video. Have added this walk to our list. Thanks and safe travels
Thanks Sue :D Enjoy the walk!
Those views from the top were amazing. So impressive
Yep, agreed.
Thanks for watching 🙂
What a fantastic day for it!!
I consider myself very fortunate to get a day like that at this time of year 😀
Have you walked Mount Farrell? It’s nice up there 😊
I haven't been up there unfortunately. Everyone I know who has done it speaks very highly of it though!
Of the west coast Lucas I can see you've done Murchison and Owen and have yet to visit the Tyndalls.

@@LucasChamberlain Norfolk Range and Tarkine too. One day ...
you were spoilt on that walk, Why would the trig station be at a lower point than the peak?
