Thank you for the simple, no BS way of making that join. I have watched so many people explain it and they make it way more complicated than it needs to be.
Oh, ok, a magic knot yarn ball. I've made these before but with me just using the "tie a knot and keep going" method. I tie a "cross under and through knot" each time and just leave my ends long, for weaving in later. Thanks! I hope you're well. =)
I have never made a magic ball or tried this type of knot. I generally have a scrap blanket in my WIP pile, and just add in scrap yarn as I finish another project. I think I like your method better.
I’ve always used scraps for amigurumi. When I do use this technique, I will leave the ends and weave them in. I’ve never known if that helps or hurts. Thoughts?
I completely agree that cute scissors do work best 😁
Ha ha ! Right?😉

Thank you, Debra! That’s my goal! ❤️
I just did this with a bunch of scraps and I can't wait to make a sweater with it.
Cool! You never know how it will look until it’s done! 😊❤️
Thank you for this magic ball video..will use this for sure.
Cute Scissors DO cut best!! 😂 I love that you are wearing your sweater!!🥰

My pleasure! 😊
Love this. Gonna try this from now on.
It keeps your scraps ready for the next scrap project! 😊
I had to save this version of the magic ball !
I never tried that knot before!
Thanks Julie!
I like the cuff work on your Red cardi ❤️
Aww! Thanks, Jamie! ❤️
Hi, Julie. Thx for the demo. I will be using this!
Awesome! 😊
Fantastic Julie. I'm going to do this for many of my yarns.
Yay!

Thanks, Wendy! 😊
And then use the Navajo plying technique to further mix the yarns and make a new weight to have fun with!
Hi Julie!! Great tutorial. I can't wait to make myself some magic yarn balls.
Happy Crafting and God Bless
Yay! They’re so fun! 😊
Awesome!
😊
Sweet!
😊
That’s exactly the way I do my scrap yarns. I make the knot the same way too.
Great idea! Thank you for sharing 🐰🐰
You’re welcome! 🐰🐰🐣🐣

Thanks! I think it’s fun! 😊
I do this too with my smaller scraps.
Right?! It’s a good way to keep them ready for the next scrap project! 😊
I have to make one. I have so many little balls.
It’s fun! 😊

It’s really up to you and if you’re able to hide your knots. 😊
Thanks Julie I use the magic knot but can't seem to make a magic circle. 🧶🦋💜👍 Be safe.
I did a tutorial on the magic circle but recently learned a new MUCH easier way. Keep your eyes out for that little tutorial. It will be out soon! 😊
@@WippyChickCrochet ok thanks will watch for it 💜😍
I was always afraid that if I did this the knots would come loose
So far I’ve never had one come loose. 😃
