I’m 35 now and I bought a Taylor GS8 when I was 20. For the last 15 years I’ve played every brand of acoustic for one I liked more than my Taylor. I never found one until today when I played and then purchased a Furch Yellow D CR. It’s the nicest guitar I’ve ever played or heard by a large margin. I’m addicted to playing it and will have it my whole life. Thank you so much to this wonderful company. Thanks to all the men and women who work at Furch. Greatly appreciate it with all my heart 🙏❤️
Unfortunately this recording doesn't represent the guitar well sonic (which in unusual for this channel). Wonderful playing and overview though! I purchased a Furch Yellow Master's Choice Gc-CR a few months ago and it is incredible! You have to hear it in person to get the full effect. I also played the Blue Master's Choice which was also a great guitar. The Yellow won out due to my personal preferences but had the yellow not been available I would have highly considered the Blue There are key differences such as the AAA grade Cedar as opposed to AA), Rosewood back and sides, LRBaggs Anthem Stage Pro pickup, and even the hardshell Hiscox case which make it a thousand dollars more, but still the Blue Master's Choice Gc-CR is still outstanding!!
Try out a Seagull if you get a chance. Never had an opportunity to try a Furch yet but the Seagull blows away Martins and Taylors costing nearly twice the price.
This model is 1100€, you can not get an all solid genuine mahogany wood guitar with LR Baggs pickup. I have a road series Martin all solid sapele guitar and it was the same price as this one. This is far better value than any Martin.
@@84guerciotti I just tried out a furch blue and seagull together (and a takamine, Tanglewood, and Taylor around the same price). The furch blew them all out the water! The seagull had a lock of lacquer, and was a lot quieter. That being said the seagull didn't sound bad! Might be just that the furch was to my taste!
There are unfortunately for Martin, an increasing number of small builders that are surpassing them on quality and price and Furch are just one of them.In my opinion Martin have been relying on brand loyalty for far too long which is a shame for Martin.
OK, this is not a proper review of that amazing guitar. If this looks and sounds amazing to you, yes, it is, but in hand it sounds 300x better. Paul is playing great.

This is the Blue Plus MC. The Blue MC has the open-pore (satin) finish all round, while the Plus has the gloss top.

A very STRIDENT sounding acoustic! \m/
The only guitars out there that make Martin guitars look just a little pricey.

@@84guerciotti Yes I agree Seagull guitars are great.

I own a Furch OM 23CR. Great guitar but I don't like the new colour
categorisation of their guitars. I can never remember them and their hierarchy.

Great
I own OM. recemended 110%
What make and weight are the strings. My denticsl Furch doesn't have the ring and sustain that yours has.
Anyone know what the action is like?
