I love 💗 mine and have just finished a few sour batches so I have baked it 3 times and it’s still perfect and I have peace of mind I’m not contaminating other brews !

Good folks at that company. That siphon can move some liquid FAST. One downside is the gauge of silicon tubing. Doesn't fit a bottling wand. I sent you a code for 15% off one of these a few months back- but glad you got hooked up!

Nice one!! I have not used mine yet but, I really think it is a great piece of equipment. The price may be steep but in the long run never having to buy a plastic one justifies it IMO. Oh and thanks for the shout out.. 👍🍻

Some things in life are worth not dealing with the hassle. The price ain’t that bad in terms if you brew a lot and plan to make it life long. Plus you buy nice shiny brew equipment, why not round it out and make everything stainless. I’m always replacing my siphon. I feel there not made as well anymore. Maybe it’s me but my first couple lasted a couple years but now I’m replacing once a month. Just got mine today. Can’t wait!

This thing is actually great. They got the name right, because it is essential in my operation. I krausen for prime, and when I do it's very easily done by myself from the carboy to mason jars. I can dip to any level in the carboy and the siphon stays in place until I have collected my krausen. I use sanitized mason jars for collection vessels to transfer to the bottling bucket. It's expensive, about $100 for the complete kit, it was worth it as long as we are going to have the soft parts available. I may just get multiple soft parts to have on hand, because I really use it a lot. My kettle has no ports, so I use it to move from kettle to carboy as well. Great Video Bud.

I just bought one. If have one complaint already. It's 80 for just the siphon if you want everything to that it should come with that's almost $140!? I just bought the siphon and the clip for my buckets and kettle.

80 bucks? Yeah too rich for my blood. I'll stick to the ol plastic siphon... For now.

I just don't know if the cost, outweighs the alternative. Plastic cheap siphons although they need to be replaceabled are cheap and work just as well.

That's pretty cool, a bit costly but I'd like one. I'd like a SS wine thief too lol. Would be a good addition to their kit. Getting tired of plastic as well.

I too have been looking to get one of these, but they’re $60 in postage alone to get sent to Australia. Guess all of us down here will just have to wait a while longer!

Looks nice, but a bit too costly for the once or twice a year I could use it. I mainly ferment in corny kegs and use CO2 to bottle or rack to a serving keg.

@@daddynutz024 just make sure the hose doesn't come off when it gets hot, it's the same when pushing water thru a wort chiller, the last thing you want is that hose flying off.

This is maybe a silly question, but can this work with 1 gallon carboys as well? I had to buy 2 plastic syphons, for the larger 6 gal and a smaller syphon to fit in the 1 gallon. I didn't realize the bigger syphons won't fit inside a 1 gallon carboy. Plus I just broke my smaller one trying to get the tube off 😣 rookie move on my end not heating it up enough under hot water

Awesome videos Larry!! I have a question: does that simphon allows air from the inside to the beer? I continue to fight with my plastic siphons on trying not to oxigenate my beer, but I always have air bubbles in contact with the beer when I am taking the beer out of the carboys. if that syphon you are showing doesn do that I lwill buy it! thanks!

BEER-N-BBQ by Larry hah well I was making a parti-gyle. I had this bright idea to chill my wort in a bucket so I could start my second batch and start to boil the small beer. It wasn't pulling wort into my bucket so u pulled it out and it was like a wet Noodle bending in 4 different directions before it cooled leaving me with a useless fun house looking pice of plastic

i should have sprung for this one, but being low on cash i opted for the jiggle one from kegland and the thing is a piece of garbage, the dumb marble gets stuck and you need to restart the siphon, i racked a beer today and needed to restart the damn thing 4 times even then it decided to stop siphoning with about 1.5 gallons left ,after that i could not get it to start up again and by that point the yeast was all stirred up and i lost a bunch of beer anyone who see's this comment and looking for a ss siphon stay clear of the kegland easy jiggler its a supreme piece of shit and will cause you a head ache
