Perfectly Said, It's not about the software we use, it's about the perspective how we see.

Actually in this particular example Corona does a way better job with softer shadows and overall better glossiness. However, indeed progressive rendering hurts your RAM so after a certain polygon count threshold, bucket + cpu/gpu hybrid is better.

10 years ago we we don't have better technology such great RTX graphics card today with tons of cuda cores. Now it is better to render in GPU hybrid render 50x faster.

Yeah I agree, it is better to render big scene in Vray such as complex exteriors, City blocks and wide array of landscape. Also that keeping to train eyes by looking and comparing how it looks in real photograph.

Software is just a tool. Thats true. But not all tools are equally as good. So saying that something is just a tools is totally useless.
When comparing softwares apart from visual quality you need to take a look at a features, simplicity, speed, price, models avalaibility, flexibility, consistency with patches and new features, realiability, technical support, render farms compatibility etc etc.

Is it just me or anyone else feels the same? Corona render doesnt have much character, and the rendering looks similar between people in low-mid level skill... But Vray result really varies between people. I got that "instant" feeling from corona render and "custom made" feeling from vray. But i agree, corona is waaaaaaaay easier to use for beginner to boost their confidence

Corona is better in many ways.
A small example. Try exporting a cryptomatte ID in the latest Vray in progressive mode - it's still a mess.
Meanwhile it works perfectly in Corona even in previous versions...(in multisubobject etc etc)

CPU + GPU rendering times were approximately 4-5x faster on V Ray than on a Corona CPU , rendering this way will become the standard and in a few years hardly anyone will be visualizing the CPU. money is what counts money

hhhmmmm.....you should have render in vray using BF and not IM there were noticeable splotches in the vray version and GI was not as accurate. I love your content but this is not an accurate comparative video....becuase what makes the different on each render engine are its features and non of them are even mentioned on this video...quality side all raytrace render engines are capable of getting same results :)

Bruh... I work with Lumion regularly because of my pc specs... and it's fair to say Lumion doesn't achieve this illumination even with all of its FX. What is great though is render time, as it does not demand that much of power. Another down to Lumion is we can't play that much with camera settings or even set a real Camera Simulation
