Welcome to Weather Watcher Studios!
I’m 17 years old and from North Carolina. Living in the southern United States exposed me to some epic weather events, including massive thunderstorms, tropical storms, and even snow. Watching weather has been my passion for as long as I remember, so in late 2021, I came to UA-cam to share my forecasts with all of you. My channel started off slow, but my audience steadily grew as I posted weather forecasts for the United States. Then, as of early 2023, I’ve been living in Western Europe. This brought a whole new perspective to weather that I wouldn’t otherwise have noticed, and my growing interest in European weather brings me to where I am today!
My main goal remains the same: Providing unique, comprehensive, and honest weather forecasts for all my viewers. If you’re new to the channel, I recommend subscribing and clicking the notification bell so you never miss my forecasts. Thanks for reading!

Apologies for the mispronunciation of Edinburgh, Scotland - I forgot the “E” was short. I’ll remember it for next time! Thanks for the comments and support everyone 👍🏼
@WeatherWatcher14 yes. And it's not "Glassgow" but "glazgoh" you're missing an "N" in "Inverness"😎

The wind has really picked up here in Kinsale, Cork
It's scary
@cato7294 dear lord jesus take mercy on our Irish friend hail hail.
The last hour or so in Derry the wind has picked up and is properly strong now. Increasing rain too. Our red warning doesn't start until 7am. I can feel the draft as I write. Going to be an interesting night.
Very best wishes to everyone in Ireland.
Stay safe everyone, hope you all get through it okay xx
This is serious news, we are most grateful to you for this important information.
I work for Gloucestershire Highways and although we’re nowhere near the worst of it, they’ve asked everyone if they want to do overtime on Saturday. This means they’re expecting lots of trees down and debris on the roads.
If you don’t need to go out, don’t go out ❤
Wow. I hope everyone stays safe 😢
Thank you so much. I've been waiting you're report. Much love and blessings from Ireland 🇮🇪 Be safe, everyone 🙏

It's amazing to think many of the lighthouses facing the north Atlantic in western Scotland were built only once 150 years ago and are still standing, despite many storms which can exceed

Hi 00.07am here on the south coast of Ireland, the heavy rain has blown through very quickly, but wind speeds have drastically increased thankfully most of our fishing trawlers are back in port or are sheltering in neighbouring ports, we are expecting to lose electrical power sometime during the night, that will annoy out teenage grandchildren 😂
Thanks @WeatherWatcher14 for your concise forecast as usual. Hunkering down in Northern Ireland here. I hope everyone stays safe!

Thanks very much. We on the South Coast went through the Hurricane of '87. We had no warnings - and it was in the middle of the night. Pitch black outside because all electricity went out - it was the noise and crashing sounds as fencing, trees came down and boats were blown up the road that were strange. I was convinced our chimneys were going to come down so I made my young family go downstairs to sleep makeshift on the sitting room floor. Dawn showed us the damage, we were very lucky, it was just garden fences, the chimneys stayed up. Garden pots were blown around the garden. Others didn't fair so well.
Prepare whilst you have a chance for those in the affected areas. Torches, matches. candles in jars if you have them. Bedding downstairs. If you have thermos flasks - fill them hot water for tea and coffee drinks. Phones charged obviously.
In the dark, with possibly no electricity, being cosy is a help so have blankets spare duvets and sleeping bags to hand..
Good luck everyone, take care and snuggle down!
Very good tips and thank you for sharing your personal experiences!
good tips! thanks.
Thinking of you all and stay safe. I'm in Falkirk, Scotland

This is the best weather forecast reporting I have seen.

Best wishes for all the people on the trajectory of Éowyn. Stay safe! Thoughts and prayers for you all.
I was in Limerick on the west coast of Ireland for Storm Darwin back in 2014, I remember sitting in a 3rd floor room and watching trees fly by, it ripped up huge oak trees outside the college and the parts of Limerick that was on the river looked like they had been hit by artillery or something. It was quite the ride. So tl;dr hold onto your butts
Incredible…
Thank you, much appreciated from SW England. The unusual calm blue evening sky was exceptional and foreboding.

Im in Kilkenny, Ireland 🇮🇪 and as of 1:30am Friday and windscales in my area have already calculated in at 198km/h and the main strength of the storm is not due to reach my location until about 02:45am so it could well pass the 200kms I feel really dangerous outside and debris falling all around the farmland where I live with a neighbours Barn partially collapsed due to almost hurricane 🌀 force winds
Scary stuff.
*Create a safe cell inside the house in the middle* - table in the middle, blankets over the top and down the sides and sofas around the edges, its flying debris that is the issue, windows blowing in etc. You want to be away from all entry points and as protected from it as possible...!!!
If by any chance the roof comes down your best chance is under a table with sofas and chairs around you...!!!
Good ideas.
@@angelatester2471 - I only know cos I watched "Baue of the Fith Column" giving advice on how to survive a Hurricane
Lol 😂
I'm in the midlands of Ireland, expecting lots of wind and rain tonight and the early morning.
Be safe everyone 🙏🏽 thank you
I hope plans are being made to Rush aid to the effected area's. Rescue teams and people to repair services will be desperately needed. Britain, don't let Ireland down in that, we might have a chequered past but that doesn't change the here and now.
It's ten past seven in the evening here on the Beara peninsula of south-western Ireland in the dark purple zone. Rain has started; big heavy drops. Sustained wind of 32kph. Spanish and British trawlers heading for shelter in Bantry Bay.
@nick.caffrey Donegal here ... in the purple zone. All very calm here at the moment, but that'll not be long changing. They don't call it the 'Wild Atlantic Way' for nothing.
@@Pmwryan1 It's half past nine. It's a little spicy here right now, but nothing out of the ordinary. Looks a though the storm centre is a bit further north than predicted.
... still hanging off a craggy rock here in Donegal ... We're used to strong winds here but this one looks like it's going to be a big huge. Could be a very noisy night ...
A beautiful part of the world. Stay safe x
Good luck to you all there. Heavenly place, in good weather.
I asked my sons what happens to their hands if they put their hands outside the car window while driving 120kmh. They know, so they won't go out in those winds and gusts here in Ireland. Stay safe everyone in Ireland and West Scotland. Thanks WW.

You are my go-to for bad news that I don’t want to hear…
And believe me, I REALLY DO mean that in the BEST possible way.

Oh wow ! That is very brutal wind. For now my city had wind gusts of 101 km/h and we had some tee damage and my wooden windmill which was over 20kg heavy was picked up and thrown away some 20m and it was destroyed.
Whoa, must have been from that passing cold front today!
@ No, it happened 2021 to 2022. Funny enough it was from south winds which have pushed the temperatures to +15°C even at midnight.
It was something like the foen wind.
Here winds from cold fronts don’t really go over 60 km/h in summer, but south winds in winter can be savage.
@ Ohh sorry 😆 I understood your comment wrong. Still, impressive wind gusts from that type of a setup!
@ Oh, no worries. I am happy to help. Thank you so much for these amazing forecasts.

The teddy bear that is Ireland is about to get battered
Well that teddy (Koala) if it could speak may say. Well I have been here a few hundred years and have seen a few storms with out getting too ruffeled.
I've got to go to work tomorrow. Luckily starting before the red warning comes into effect but finishing during the storm! So looks like it will be a long day at work, waiting for the storm to pass. I think a 12-hour day looking at the wind speeds on the met office in-depth forecast.
Stay safe!
Thank you from the west coast of Scotland, right in its path.I hope everyone stays safe & please bring all pets inside, batten down the hatches people 🙏💕

Hey!
we are used to these high winds in the west of Scotland its realy no big deal the worst damage is usually trees blown over 80 mph winds is normal breeze , we had storm Bawbag about 12years ago with 105 mph winds
Great Video 📸 WW!!!

WOW 😮😮😮😮😮😮😮
very fortunate that the worse of the storm hits ireland when the tide is at a relatively low level. If it was high there could be some serious flooding with that storm swell.
Absolutely, glad there’s good news despite how intense the storm will be
Met eireann has revised the windspeed from 86kph down twice to 70 something..
Wales UK here stay safe everyone
I like it when you convert to m/s because that's what it is, I have no clue if the wind is 100 km/hour, i usually don't go out with the boat if the wind is more than 8m/s ❤
They should name these storms smth like
"CitySweeper", "Forest flattener" or "WindFlame"

I’m on the north edge of the Central Scotland Red area but no emergency alerts here on our mobile phones but my brother who lives 12 miles away did get it. Our forecast is for max 78mph winds here on the Forth Valley/ Trossachs area but further east is forecast to get over 85mph……….. they are downwind of me! Right now we are in the calm before the storm - it’s been wet wet and heavily overcast all day but now we have no wind to speak of and the sky is just ablaze with stars and it’s down to +1C - wind is forecast to start raising from 0600U`tC tomorrow morning and peak around 1pm

I think the 2 biggest storms I witnessed in Ireland in my time was Charlie in 1986 and the Christmas storm of 1997, not sure about Ophelia or Darragh rank on the list compared to them ?
This is gonna be worse for us in north compared to Ophelia
