I absolutely love all the work you guys have put into CCW and the community. Getting a light bee in 2019 was one of the best moves I could have made for my sanity. It has encouraged me to get into the great outdoors way more. So, thank you for improving this bike, which has allowed me to enjoy it even more! Now....if I only had more money :) Thank you
You guys do some great editing, and man, that looks like a great ride man, those vistas, that's what's up!yeah and the jump that Brett did was, yeah, that was lunic.
Nice wrap-up! Here's what I'd like to see moving forward: Keep up the great customer service. It's easy to rest on your laurels once you achieve something. Don't fall into that trap. Also, make a series talking about which bike is right for you, and which upgrades should come first. I got into the e-moto game in May 2023 and I've built up 2 really sweet (and very expensive) MX4s. It would have been easy to start with the wrong platform (for me!) and this problem is only going to get worse as more companies enter the market. You could potentially waste a LOT of money on the wrong bike and get in over your head. I feel like I got very lucky and started with something that's going to last me a long time. Great content, thank you.
Congrats 🎉🎉🎉 you have been an inspiration to my path with E-bikes🙌✨💫💫💫 can’t tell you how much i am grateful for you guys! Cheers from Portugal 🤟🤟 #Surronx_pt
❤ Hey guys, love your videos and the contact. Love to see more of the race series of the indoor over the winter I've only seen one guy riding the track. No racing app need some videos of the racing. Keep the videos coming.❤
Great to know! We are thinking about putting a modified ultra bee against gas bikes, would that be something you’d enjoy seeing or would you prefer more of the surron specific racing?
You guys / CCW are doing great work, and are at the forefront of developing high performance e-motos. Besides building the highest performance stuff on the market, you also design bikes that look great. As an old(er) MX'er who started with riding a YZ80D many years ago, I'm totally down with what you're doing, and love to follow the developments in this space. I've built high powered e-bikes since 2015, even had a Kuberg FreeRider 8 years ago, before the Surron appeared. Building my first Sur-Ron now, frame-up from scratch. Gonna be a copy of Nate's bike (laffy taffy), with some changes. 80v with X9000 V2 (bought from you), and a KO RS motor for now. Can't wait. Keep up the great work!
@@nk-dw2hm CCW mentioned it's about a $15k bike if to buy it assembled and ready to go. I'm saving a significant amount off that as I'm building up from a bare frame, so no wasted money on stock parts. Plus I'm building the battery myself. So definitely less than half that amount.
@@CoolWatts yeah I was just curious about what your costs might be to compare to theirs. Cool to see the range in builds. I'm just getting in so I'm still undecided on brand even at this point
Discovered you guys recently. Loving the content so far, especially discussion of what mods did or did not work well on a particular bike. I have gone from a Light Bee all the way up to a Zero DSR/X w/off road mods. I know you love racing and that is great content and info but a lot of us just trail ride at less than race pace, so mods that work well for that kind of riding as well would be useful. Keep up the awesome work!! :)
Great recap! Production quality of these videos has been great, props to your editor(s). I have found the most useful videos you have done have been on the educational side, what parts work on the bikes, what parts are actually available, reviews of those parts and real world findings like range figures. Because bikes like the Ultra Bee are so new it can be hard to find reliable info from pros who know what they're doing. Your riding videos are a blast but the parts videos are valuable. Video idea: a review of the major upgrades (wheels, battery, controller, suspension) that are available on the market for the bikes and how you would rank them. What kind of riding are they best for, when are they worth it.. ect
Amazing to hear such good feedback. We will keep trying to get better and better each video as well as take feedback like yours into perspective! Thank you for the support!
I love the videos, information and links. How about a link to your secret spots! I Live in Washington and probably spend the rest of time exploring here.
I know you guys are focused more on high end, high performance machines but a "best setup for $5k" video would be awesome for people just getting in. A freeride with upgraded forks? A surron with larger/lighter wheels?
Electric is the future, I’m selling my brand new Tenere 700 to get one. I’m 52 and shifting is difficult for me due to injuries, this is what I’ve been waiting for.
We appreciate the love! Yes actually, so a couple months ago we did a review of the Apollo RFN, and found that it is a fun bike but the cockpit needs some serious improvements. So we are working on those improvements with some partners. Specifically the footpeg mount positions, bar positions, we would prefer 18/21 wheels and to be able to adapt to a surron front wheel. We will do another video once we have parts to test!
Vargs weren’t out during the development of surrons. Surrons are much more like hot rods, customize them to your own liking, and spend the money you feel is worth it to you. But yes if you want the ultimate electric track bike, the Varg at 14k is a great price for a lot of bike.
Feel like secretly building an ultra bee behind my friends' backs as well, and then just roll up on em.

Whats your anticipated all in cost for that?

Yeah and the STARK VARG clips,... BADASS!

We will 100% dive deeper into this! Thank you very much for the feedback!
The Ultra is a weapon.. I love mine.. just a weekend warrior and it covers my needs
I would love to see you guys start to offer "good, better, best" options on your store.
Great idea!

A freeride with upgraded forks? A surron with larger/lighter wheels?
What kind of mods did they do to the Freeride?
16/19 Wheels and a few other goods, however nothing power related
Comparison of different bike models! E Ride Pro SS vs Surron LBX!
Coming soon!

Awesome to hear! More than happy to help you along this journey!
Just found your channel, and just got an Apollo RFN.
Any plans to work with them?
Your channel is the $h!t!

Haven’t even charged mine yet, (it’s zero degrees here) but yes, working on the bars, pegs myself. Amped to see your mods on it 👍
Talaria Dragon.....Very excited!!!
Instead of completely modding a Surron , wouldn't it be cheaper just buying a Stark Varg ??
