You mentioned that the PAS 1 can go up to 12 mph, but is it true that you can go faster than that in higher gears, if you pedal harder in Pas 1? Or is the pas 1 capped to that speed?
There's nothing mechanically stopping it from going much faster if you're in the right gear and pedalling away, in my examples on the video I'm just using throttle alone
They're your gear shifters - the one on the left does your front cog and the one on the right is for the rear cog. So big shifts in effort on the left and fine tuning on the right

Hi all. Ive got the exact same bike and i bet you didn't know that it has a mode where you can access the '9 Gears mode'. You gotta access the menu by pressing down both up and down arrow to access the P menu. Go to P5 and press 2 and voila. U have 9 gears and it makes the ebike much faster than having either 3 or 5 gears... And if you wanna make it even faster then go to P menu 14 and change the amp settings from whatever it is to 18 amps then go to P18 and adjust speed ratio to 150 and viola.. Now the bike will take you to 36mph on the flat using just throttle and over 40mph with some peddle assist in gear 9... ENJOY AND DONT FORGET TO THANK ME. 😂
Love the review. Thank you! Now that you've had it for several months, do you have any complaints? How far does the battery take you on the pure assist mode? Someone on Amazon complained about having water issues when they rode through a puddle. Have you ridden in the rain at all?
No complaints so far, I did swap the saddle for a much more padded version though! I only really use mine around town and my local area so I'm afraid I'm never going to be one to ask about max range etc, sorry. I'm a bit of a fair-weather cyclist but I have had it in rain without issues - but I can imagine, it is an electric vehicle so if water gets in the wrong place it would be an issue.
Motor and battery seem fine - but I don't do huge distances. Have noticed that I'm losing brake fluid from the hydraulic front disc brakes so I may need to replace the caliper
@@AdsReviews it seems acceptable given the time you have the bike. I'll do 22Km from home to work and back in a predominantly flat terrain, I think I'll manage to keep both in a good condition for a long time.
Hi Ads, I brought a similar model a couple of years ago and have only just got around to taking it out of the pack. It appears to have come with a charger that has a two pin plug; is this standard? Not really sure about plugging it in as it would only connect to a power socket through a shaver adapter
Sorry I really can't remember what I got in my pack - if it's a Euro two pin plug I would suggest getting a proper Euro 2 to 3 pin converter as shaver adapters usually have very low amp fuses and might not be able to handle the draw for charging the battery
@@slimjimpui I'd probably go for 13 amp as I think it draws a fair bit of juice to charge (it has a little in-built fan to keep it cool so don't be alarmed if you hear that running when you plug it in!) but just double-check if there are any markings on the existing plug showing what fuse that has inside as I don't want to give you the wrong advice
Hi Ads. My dad recently bought this bike in the UK. He mentioned how the power supply seems to make a "boiling kettle" noise when charging. He wants to buy a new charger but he's just wondering if this noise is normal. Does yours make the same or a similar noise?
Hi Rossy, yes mine makes a similar noise when charging - I think the charger itself has a built-in fan that kicks in when it's charging the battery, the LED on the top of the black box turns red and the fan comes on, then when the battery is fully charged the fan stops and the LED changes back to green. It shouldn't be really noisy but you can definitely hear it.
Greetings! I got a quick question if you can help me out, I got this bike for over 2 months now done like 1200 kilometers or 750 miles and I pretty much need new break pads for my back break. I went to a bike repair shop in my area and asked to see if they can do anything about that and said that they can't because they couldn't figure out what type of breaks it is to get the right replacement. Do you have any idea where can I find new break pads for this bike? or who made them even? thank you so much in advance..
Yes absolutely, there's a small keyhole on the side of the battery that allows you to lock and unlock the battery to the frame, so you can remove it and charge it seperately. One thing I should have mentioned in the review is that the supplied charger came with a European style 2-pin plug instead of a UK 3-pin (obviously not a problem if you're on mainland Europe!). If you're a UK customer it would be worth buying an adaptor and ensure it can supply the 2 amps the battery requires to charge, for example a shaver adaptor might not be enough.

Now ive had various ebike and im interested to buy this model purely as a commuter bike, my question is how easy or hard would it be to remove the rear wheel in case of a puncture? and are the brakes cable or hydraulic?
Brakes are hydraulic, suppose in theory the only extra step from a standard rear wheel change will be to disconnect the power cable to the rear hub - everything else should be the same as any rear wheel change. I've got some of that slime stuff in both wheels so hoping I don't have to find out for real!
@@AdsReviews is there a plug to easily disconnect the rear wheel? Also does the rear wheel have any torque arms? does it stat the manufacturer of the motor? Ive has a few rear hub bikes in the past and they can be a nightmare if you get a puncture while miles from home and i too always use the slime for the tyres.

@@AdsReviews , after watching your video and the price seems a great bargain ,so i ordered one a week ago , i live in ireland , how long did you have to wait for delivery ?
Hi Ads, thanks for the review - very useful as I'm currently considering this ebike. I've got a couple of questions I hope you can answer: 1) I'm 5ft 6, do you think the bike would be the right fit for me? The website says 5''6 and above but it's better to hear it from a customer! 2) When not using the motor, is there any drag or is it just like using a normal pedal bike? 3) Is there sufficient gearing to pedal downhill at say 25mph and not be spinning your legs out? 4) Would other branded batteries fit straight into the battery slot, or do I have to use Shengmilo?
Hi Tom! 1) I'm about 5"8 and have the seat raised just a tiny amount as the tires raise the bike a fair bit - I think you'd probably be ok if you don't mind it leaning over a little to one side when you're at a standstill if that makes sense? 2) No drag at all, exactly like a normal pedal bike, albeit with the extra weight of a battery etc. 3) I think at that speed you'd be at the very limit of the gearing/spinning your legs out - if it was set to pedal assist instead of pure throttle this might be different. 4) As far as I can tell the bike/battery fitting appears to be pretty universal but there are different charger port types. The control panel setup also needs to reflect the capacity/voltage etc of the battery you're using. They're so expensive I'm hesitant to make a call one way or the other because I'm just not certain.
@@diamp1 I would imagine so - I've ordered things that had sneaked under the radar as the seller had marked the package as a gift, but the bike comes in such a huge box that I think it would raise a few eyebrows at customs!
@@diamp1 No I think it was posted from within the UK, it arrived within a week I think? Just double check you're on the .co.uk and not the .com and you should be fine
Awesome review, thanks. I saw one go past my house this morning at like 6am doing a hell of speed, so I got curious and ended up here. I'm not sure I'd wanna try and pedal that thing without PAS tho' - it must weigh a good 30kg. I'd be tempted to get one, but figure it would only be a matter of time before the Police came after me and confiscated it for being over the 12mph unassisted speed rating, not least since it's a pretty conspicuous looking bike. They're now £1600 on Amazon, so that would be a lot of money gone :/

My settings are below. Just to note that I have mine set to 'throttle only' (no pedal assist) and also have the Zero Start enabled so I can use the throttle from a standstill. If that's not what you want then you'll need to change your settings accordingly. Also wheel size (P06) - mine's still set to 26 but should probably be closer to 29 as mentioned in another comment. Enjoy your bike!

Amazing review, i will buy one next week from Ireland so how much per hour can you get ? Thanks
About 30mph / 48kph on a flat road!
But what is difference between Gunai and Shengmilo?
Where is it available and send price
What is the price of this e bycycle
yooo dude whats the range on that badboy
What's the hieght
What's the price?
@@AdsReviews there are inner lining belts to put inside your tyres that help prevent punctures actually check out Michael kinsella on you tube he has a good video inner lining it's well worth a look
@@francisgannon8219 Thank you! Appreciate it
Would this bike suit a person height of 6ft 1?
How much price? from where i can buy?
Links should be in the video description - around £1450 GBP at the moment
@@AdsReviews , after watching your video and the price seems a great bargain ,so i ordered one a week ago , i live in ireland , how long did you have to wait for delivery ?
@@patcarr4502 I think it was a week or ten days ish? I can't be 100% sure to be honest but wasn't very long. Hope you enjoy yours!
How much?
Hi Ads, thanks for the review - very useful as I'm currently considering this ebike. I've got a couple of questions I hope you can answer:
1) I'm 5ft 6, do you think the bike would be the right fit for me?
Hello mate if you order this bike from Aliexpress do you have to pay taxes?
in the UK
@@diamp1 I would imagine so - I've ordered things that had sneaked under the radar as the seller had marked the package as a gift, but the bike comes in such a huge box that I think it would raise a few eyebrows at customs!
@@AdsReviews when you bought it from Amazon did you have to pay any extra taxes?
You can adjust everything on it, like I did. Don't worry.
How is it 1 year later?
Have recently sold it but it served me well, save for replacing the front brake caliper
@@AdsReviews how much did that cost and where did you buy the parts from?
that is a very nice electric bike ,enjoy
Where in the U.K. can I buy these bikes please
Ebay
Not bad at all 👍👍😁
Price bro
Is it good bike? 🤔🤗
Hey Man, hows the bike going? Orderded mine before Christmas, just waiting on delivery 😁🤞
Still going great! Haven't been out in a while because of the weather but it always puts a smile on my face, hope you enjoy yours!
@@AdsReviews just ordered mine today. You are still happy with it? No regrets ?😁🤘🏻
@@dadadamien2486 100% 👌
@@AdsReviews thanks for tout quick answer. Easy to ride ? Not to heavy ?
@@dadadamien2486 It's pretty heavy but the motor makes it so you really wouldn't know
How much does it cost?
£1.5K
Can you recommend a honest company to purchase from as their seems many scams on this bike
I chose Amazon because I wanted to be sure that any customer service issues would be taken care of there
Do you worry about the E-Bike laws? The fact you can get 6 points or even lose your licence is a bit daunting.
You can set power & speed limits using the onboard controller to ensure you meet any local regs
Ordered one for myself 👍 nice video
Iv just got this exact model and interestingly the only difference I can see with mine is it just has gunai logos no duel advertising so they must have updated iv already had someone say to me it looks like the bat bike from dark knight gave birth 🤣😹😂
Is it road legal for uk
If you restrict the motor output to 250w & speed to 15.5mph in the control panel
Quanto é o valor
is this $100 cause i found a website of that so yea
Nice bro!!!
There is a website selling this bike in USD and it’s cheap your think there scammers?
Is it real ?showing price only 3799 INR
done buy one of these. my battery developed a fault and they tried to say i t was not their battery. their warranty is not valid. they eventually said they would send a replacement however they wanted 190 euros postage. dishonourable thieves!
Would this bike suit a person height of 6 foot 1
I think that height is still within the specs listed, the fat tyres add another couple of inches to the frame height. I suppose worst case you could get a seat height extender bar?
