This video is an adaptation of one of Stoutimore's many characters in his new novel. I have drawn inspiration from the scene in which Pinodatha appears in to create this narrative. The viewer assumes the role of "Raffi," the main protagonist, who is mentally controlled by a demon named Obake. Raffi has just had a losing battle with another one of the Knights of Sadira, and now has a fatal wound that can only be healed with special magic. To save herself, Raffi ventures into a poisonous swamp to find Pinodatha, an exiled witch in hiding. Pinodatha used to work with Obake decades ago to create a substance that would allow him to control and influence a human mind. Raffi so happens to be her most successful "experiment." I just Finished Reading this book and I really want to read the rest of the series when it is finished. it was very dark and sad but also charming and encouraging. I cried so much that I had to pause and breath between pages. I don't want to spoil it for anyone, Maru was my favorite side character, I loved her hair dying scene with young Raffi, she was like a big sister through her early hardships and it was so painful to loose her. I just wanted to thank you for introducing me to this beautiful work of fiction. I would love to hear you read a favorite book or even folk tales or Poetry some time, if you like, you have a very compelling and beautiful Narrative voice. I love your role as Pinodatha thank you Dream!

2 things, you filming outside when you can is pretty cool. And the second thing is getting the sound quality to still be done well for filming outside, is amazing.

Amazing, relaxing, and intriguing as always! Since this video was made in collaboration with the book, should this be considered canon to how the character looks/speaks/acts? For a more immersive reading experience?
Thank you! I’m not sure! You’ll have to ask Gabe! He told me recently that he’s started seeing my face as Pinodatha so perhaps 😄 the book version of this character is a lot more outwardly sinister and intense. I had to modify her dialogue quite a bit to fit into an ASMR format.
