The original lyrics are different, I personally think the originally is a lot better. The original composer/lyricist passed away unfortunately, and I find it irritating that they keep changing this show. It's almost disrespectful to the composer. "Have we come to the ending, or am I just dreaming?"
tipofmytongue1024 in the bare album recording, of which the original lyricist/composer was involved in the production of, these were the lyrics that were used. in the original script, these lyrics were the ones originally written down. the lyrics that you are talking about are from the 2004 production in new york. just want to clear that up haha
If we wanna get technical there’s audio/cast recording from the 2000 production. When they sing bare there’s like a verse of sing and just sad wispy music for 4 minutes. I have no idea what that is, but if anyone from the bare community knows what was happening on stage during those 4 minutes it would be greatly appreciated
I’m grateful to have this, but I’m disappointed that it’s not Michael Arden & John Hill instead. I’m fully biased though because 2004’s my favorite version and their version of Bare has my favorite lyrics.
this is, in my opinion, the best Jason and Peter. They have a great chemistry on stage.
Habe you seen the og 2004 version though ? I felt it was equally chemistry laden.
But vocally i think they both just a tad better.
@@temporaryphase The og is the 2000 LA Production, and I have watched 2000, 2004, and 2013, and I still think this is the best Jason and Peter.
These two are still the best chemistry I’ve ever seen a Peter and Jason have. Even in a concert setting. And I’ve seen a lot of productions of Bare.
My favorit "Jason-Peter" couple so far :D
Mine is Michael Arden and John Hill.
THIS HURTS WORSE THAN WHEN I HIT MYSELF IN THE ANKLE WITH A MUSIC STAND
THAT HURT REALLY BAD TRUST ME
ohwoahwoahthatsnono _1506 thanks mAn 👌🏼👌🏼
CJ are you okay damn
oh my god there is just something about these two, their chemistry is perfect
Gorgeous as ever... I'll never get over those sparkling eyes on idols and then the voice of an angel.
Aaand its time to cry
Gorgeous voices. My favorite.
this is THE best cast of Bare in my opinion
Beautiful and heart breaking
tony dammit! for both....
This is actual perfection
So... they are both straight playing gay men? That’s insane. Such good actors!
Maybe there both just enournoysky relieved to be singing with vocal equals
Well Jonah's brother is gay and he also plays straight 😂😂
I wish they did pilgrims hands
wish they would've done the original 2004 version of this song
Edwin Boq i'm fairly sure that this is the original, and that the 2004 version is an adapted version. that being said, i like both versions equally
this is not the original, the original has different lyrics
