Hiking the Lions Head Point Trail | One of Ontario's greatest Hikes

- In this Video I Hike the Lions Head Point track out to the point and to McKay's Harbor Beach.
This was the day before my AIDA 2 open water component and was why I went up early.
I would recommend this trail although its certainly not an easy track and would certainly challenge the casual hiker (like me)
This Video is my first video in which I don't get into the water, which is a pity because once I reached that beach I could have done with a dip!

Possibilities of Bear? Or completely safe?
Possibilities of bears, My friends who Live in Lions Head have seen Black Bears a few times
Drones are allowed in there? I've it and I am planning to fly it if you can help
Drone used to be allowed there! You can still apply for permits to fly, but they are becoming less approved. Also, by technicality, I'm flying over the water, not the park. The park grounds recently put up signs with no drones on them. If you can launch from Lions' head Harbor, you might be able to fly your drone out far enough to film from the waterside. I asked a police officer patrolling the Harbor who said that that was fine! The rules may have changed, though, as this was a couple of years ago now.
You think a dog can do this hike ?
This really depends on the dog. There are a few steep areas that you have to climb a few steps in rocks and roots, and there are a few crevasses that some dogs could easily fall down. I have a jack russel and a beagle, and neither of them could make it (they're also not very well trained tbh)
I just did it this weekend with my dog and she was just fine. 25lb street dog and powered through the whole 18k!
