Cruising range depended upon speed and conditions. I can say that I made the run from West Palm Beach with full fuel to Atlantis Nassau Bahamas with 100 gallons to spare… most days on my trip I’d go all day running on a tank which would exceed 250-300 miles with the generator running to keep the SeaKeeper running if necessary
I actually miss this boat!! It was outstanding and in my mind, the best hull Boston Whaler makes. At no time did ever feel like it couldn’t handle what was being thrown at you. The owner wanted to go to a bigger boat
Max speed with six people and full fuel was 52-55mph depending on the water. With a decent chop and getting some air under the hull made a huge difference. This was with the Enertia Eco props, not the Rev4 wheels the boat came with.
I slept in the cabin. I did go purchase a 4" foam mattress pad and put it on the day bed which slides out from the Port-side couch. The AC system is very robust and I had no issues. One evening in Oriental Marina, hooked to a floating dock, I ran the Seakeeper throughout the night... the next day a guy sleeping on his sailboat tied to the same floating dock mentioned he slept great too without the dock and his boat moving one bit!! The 420 Outrage is a highly capable boat... it just needs the Enertia Eco props to increase the fuel economy more.
@@DavidWilks Thanks for replies. Seems like a good boat. I like the BW 380 Realm also but question why it requires quad 300's or 350's to power a 38' boat. The similar Regal 38SAV runs fine with triples.
Kool boat dave
what is the at cruising speed and what is maximum range

Great trip! Why are you selling the boat or what's the next boat?

Did you sleep on the boat or go to a nearby hotel? Is the cabin livable at all on the 420?

What rpm/speed were you running in calm water?
This boat can run 30mph cruise or over 47mph pushing it harder.
Does that boat have an autopilot on it?
Yes it does.
That front anchor hanging so low under the bow, looks like a danger. Some wave is going to pull that down hard. Foolish place to leave it underway.
Not sure where you see it hanging. It was never unlocked when not in use.
