This is top down, the best conflict management video I've seen. I've really identified which is the problem area within my current relationship. This video is timeless!
Helpful? No I find this video golden... Such a crucial information for free... My parents are dysfunctional I had to learn everything on my own... Thank you 🎉
I just found your channel. This is one of the most helpful videos I have seen discussing conflict resolution. Thank you for explaining this so clearly and carefully.
Great information!, I just found your channel and I would like to ask if you would speak about Estrangements; I had never heard of this until it happened to me. I will keep listening and pay close attention to my life!!. Thank you.
Are you saying what you mean, meaning what you say, without saying it mean? Are you truly advocating for what you need or want in relationships in a direct but respectful way? Or might you be beating around the bush, hinting at what you want or need, or being silent altogether, hoping that others will read you mind about what you need or want rather than you having to express it?
@@Serenityonlinetherapy I watched so many videos in the last week trying to find just a simple structure and outline for communicating and your The only one that laid it out in simple terms.. so thank you very much
@@istarigreenman8235 Hi, Istari. I am no expert on working with clients with NT/AS. Still, I think if any person is open to learning new ways to communicate, he or she can make progress. After all, these are just skills that can be learned. I have worked with clients with many disorders - ADHD, depression, chronic anxiety - who have benefited from intentionally choosing to learn new communication skills.
This is so good, concise and helpful. Thank you for this! Please keep them coming!
Thank you, and you're welcome!

Hi Dierdra. I also have a playlist of videos on mindfulness if you want to learn a lot more about "paying attention to your life."
Thank you for sharing 🙏👍👂
How do you know if you are skillful at expressing yourself?

Great video!
Thank you!
Carl, how would this work in a NT/AS relationship?
Hi, Istari. I don't know what you are asking.
Would the skills you talk about work within a relationship where one person is Neurotypical and the other person is Asperger Syndrome/Autism Spectrum?

Aaah so good.
I have not skillfully expressed myself, nearly losing my sister, of 40years 😥
new_light 2017 Sorry to hear that. Maybe trying to skillfully express yourself to her might help.
Counselor Carl I will do that. I see I have some work to do with me.
new_light 2017. I wish you the best!
very good
Thank you!
My wife says thank you🤩🤩
Hi, James. Tell your wife she's welcome!
