You forgot when Kobe said to lebron “you need to carry on the game” that that was a reference to Kobe’s last ever tweet
Thank you. I came to the comments to see if anyone else noticed it was missed.
It was "continuing to move the game forward"
Yeah was about to comment that
Very creative
19:46 Gobert and Anthony Davis are holding shields, a reference to them being elite rim protectors.
Gerry-Jeraldson Jerrycan And Curry and his bow
Gerry-Jeraldson Jerrycan And Curry and his bow
And curry and his bow
And curry and his bow
And curry and his bow
6:22 “I have a dream...” Earlier this season, Kyrie somewhat compared his situation (getting hate from media, etc) to that of Martin Luther King Jr. it’s a very subtle reference to MLK’s iconic speech
Also when he says he is all seeing it is a reference to him on the JJ Redick podcast
That’s what I thought when I heard those famous 4 words.
Ilhaam B yep
I wouldn't use the word subtle
This is just one of those things that should NEVER EVER END
All good things must come to an end .... But fuck this quote , it really shouldn't end ...
If you want to blame something, blame Game of Thrones... this series is following that arc obv
I've never watched GOT so I have no idea where it's going, but yes THIS series will be sorely missed
@@Paqqqman lol, I guess that's true
Each episode is becoming the best episode every time
Yeah this year because I feel like season 6 was a low
I have an unpopular opinion, I don't particularly like this season.
They concentrate too much on the unreal plot and less on reality-based jokes.
Roberto De Marzi that’s because this is literally how the game of thrones series ended and there were moments that were references more than jokes
@@SippingVino
Yes but why did they have to follow the plot of game of thrones so much?
This series is literally the first time that this show tries to have a plot instead of single scenes, and I feel like it worked way better before. There were more jokes and a lot of got and NBA references.
This season was way less jokes and a lot of senseless plot. I think it is because they needed to wrap it up somehow, but for me it didn't work well
11:40 is also a reference to Kobe's last tweet:
"Continuing to move the game forward @KingJames
Much respect my brother"
Sí
Mike’s face when doc told him no 😂. Also dame got bars.
The reference with jokic and the world beginning could also be hinting at the NBA ABA merger
Not that The NBL AND BAA not The NBA AND ABA
Its hinting that Game of Zones is merger of Game of Thrones and NBA
1
Makyura43 yes finally someone sees it
The NBL and BAA merged in 1946 to create the NBA.
1:20 In Seattle there is a Storm looming, a reference to the WNBA Team, The Seattle Storm and their weather, usually being overcast. The tower can be a dilapidated and obsolete version of the Space Needle as well.
Ya that’s why he said Seattle tower, he prolly meant the needle
They are also wearing Sonics colors
The "Old Jersey" reference is possibly a reference to "New Jersey", a former NBA team replaced by Brooklyn...
Beal was snubbed even from the all snubb team
Fax tho
Beal PG and KAT don’t fit the hated by the media narrative tho
@Aroosh Kumar bro klay is injured
I think KAT does because he is the largest snub in all-star and the Knights of the Round Ball, because his 3 point shooting from a big man is probably one of the best weapons against a 90s team who does not think such 3 point shooting is even possible.
I do think this all snubbed team gets a ton of hate from the media though. Everyone knows that Beal got snubbed though.
9:34 Harden also calls CP3 a snitch. Another reference to CP3 ratting out Knights for un-tucked Tunics
For everyone who’s sad about Game of Zones ending, Bleacher Report has stated that they will try to continue this series
Yey
Actually?!
Levine Punzalan and Zachigo Dino, they said they’re going to try, but I don’t know how. I really hope they figure out a way to continue it
Source?
Wtf? That basically means they'll continue GoZ with completely different writers. That.....might not be good.
9:25 another missed joke is Kawhi leaving silently just like how he left the raptors silently
SoupaHahtFyre agree to disagree but I wouldn’t call Kawhi leaving the raptors as “silent”. He was faced with constant attention that off season from the media, sports shows, and generally everyone that offseason.
Alfredo Balboa there was like a 1-2 week stretch where no news came from him, and all of the sudden one afternoon he signed with clippers
SoupaHahtFyre that’s the point. Since he didn’t say anything it got to the point where there were cameras waiting for his plane in land in Los Angeles. There were Toronto fans everyone starting the “Kawhi and Dine” movement.
Alfredo Balboa that was the joke tho he left quietly
@Alfredo Balboa I think he tried to keep it quiet, but if you are an NBA all-star and potential hall-of-famer, it’s difficult to keep it quiet
Am I the only one that thought Jokic saying “our world was created when the gods smashed two universes together” was a reference to the NBA/ABA merger
Ichabod Iarossi I didn't think about it like that... But now that u said it it makes a lot of sense
It may be also because of the BAA/NBL merger in the 40s
The whole show is the Game of Thrones and NBA universes smashed together.
Personally I thought it was a fourth wall break because technically the show is Game of Thrones and the NBA smashed together
The Game of Zones universe already has a backstory that they showed in the previous episode
10:08 There's a reference to the Nets' Slam Cover Issue made in the early 2000's. I actually have that magazine and if I remember, at the bottom it claimed the Nets were going to win a Championship soon, which obviously didn't happen
7:05 its also a reference to GOT when Podrick sang Jenny of Oldstone
Isn’t the melody of the song a reference to Ed Sheeran’s song in Season 7?
Dame's melody on the song is a reference on Ed Sheeran's song in GOT
You're all kinda right. The scene when they were all waiting for the battle, it was Podrick who sang "Jenny of Oldstone". But in this GoZ scene when Dame is singing, it's a reference to"Hands of Gold"
Vlade divac yelling “we don’t need luka!” As they head into battle
Yeah! 😆
Hey man, here are some of the easter eggs you've missed! :)
10:03
In the scene where Kyrie leads his new team to New Jersey (Old Jersey) you’ll notice along the way, a painting of No. 44 - former Net Keith Van Horn. Next to it, you’ll see a painting of the starting lineup during the 2001-2002 season, inspired by the SLAM cover entitled, “THE BEST TEAM IN THE WORLD.” Just figured it would help! :)
Also, a small Easter egg, but when in the tunnel, Carmelo says," What in 7 Hells is that?" Referencing his jersey number. Just caught it, but it's not as good as yours
@@harrybthyname_ its 7 Ls and every player has said it through the show.
@@dave_dynasty 7 Ls? Every player? Wow, ok, I'm sorry. If so, then you're right. Can I ask what it's referring to?
@@harrybthyname_ you dont have to be sorry. 7 Ls is just their version of what the hell or something like that.
@@dave_dynasty oh ok. Thanks, man. That was very helpful. Have a good night
Best GOZ episode yet... they used Kobe’s cameo perfectly
1. Don’t you think AD holding up the cue cards was them making fun of LeBron and how contrived his “speaking from the heart” moment appeared (and in my opinion, was)? 2. They showed Shaq at the end. I think they were in some way referencing that he should’ve been on the Dream Team instead of Christian Laettner. What do you think?
1:30 The Statue of Ser Gary Payton also has a glove on his right hand, a reference to his nickname, "The Glove."
is no one gonna bring up that mullins, drexler, bird and magic johnson was not seen in the final battle...
Also David Robinson
Those same players wasn't shown in the first episode either. Why not if they're showing all of LeBron's team
*Mullin
They'll appear. You have to wait for the final episode.
This channel too underrated
The irony is that CP3 hit a game winner against Dallas with his jersey untucked. As a mavs fan, I was hella pissed
Aroosh Kumar Because in that same game he called some on out for having there Jersey untucked and that is a technical foul
You missed the reference bro. It refers a game aginst timberwolves where cp3 claimed a technical foul late game by pointing out Jordan bell who checked in the game with jersey untucked. They eventually won that game in OT cause of that.
LaggedOut BTW you can have your jersey untucked you just can’t come onto the court with your jersey untucked.
@@darianvargas7624Im pretty sure that you can't play with your jersey untucked
Bro if you check in untucked that's a delay of game....because you'll have to tuck it in midway so that's a violation
1:53 2 of the Pieces, Ser Jordan and The Brother of Splashes, Stephen Curry, have their own signature drawings. Jordan with his tongue out and Stephen with his mouthpiece hanging
I was waiting for this one as soon as game of zones episode 3 came out
Facts 💯
Omg NAK liked my comment thanks g keep up the good work love your vids
6:51 is reference to the 'now I do what I want' ad with westbrook that conveniently dropped after KD left
I Just Need To Know If Shaq Survived The Attack On The Mediadel.
If he died who would chuck hate🤷♂️😂😂
leon mulama Fr 😂.
I thought he might be 1 of the people to help save LeBron
I think they turn him and bring him back.
6:22 you missed the reference to the MLK speech
I Don’t know I was gonna point that out, but you got here first
I was surprised because it was so obvious!
11:39 Reference to Kobe’s last tweet to Lebron (“Continuing to move the game forward @KingJames. Much respect my brother 💪🏾 #33644”)
Honestly you should have way more subscribers most underrated page on Yt💯
Agreed.. very good content
Oh my goodness that Ray Allen prediction seems legit! That's why the Sonics are in this!
I hope Bleacher Report does a director’s commentary when GOZ is finished.
Jonathan Irish yeah, I'd like to know the 5% of the Easter eggs that were missed!
actually, to be honest, if GOZ didnt end early, there could have been a lot of interesting episodes. like, The Bubble,
The Lakers, the Bucks championships
Klay Thompson's return
Kyrie and the COVID-19 vaccino-phobia
The Markieff Morris attack on Nikola Jokic
Brooklyn Nets getting swept by Boston
among many others that could be interesting GOZ episodes...
if....they did not finish the series early...
I know this was Kobe’s last episode but I really hope he saves the day
That would be fucking stupid and melodramatic as hell
ben1ben2ben1 who hurt you bro
@@hectorsoto8258 No one. I can just see stupid melodramatic fan fiction when i see it
ben1ben2ben1 someone definitely hurt u fam
I want isaih thomas to come back and take revenge on jordan for being snubbed from dream team
When you predicted about Ray Allen, boy I squealed with joy
This dude has one hell of an eye for seeing the Shawn Kemp Jersey at 8:23
17:40 You missed one more reference. One of LeBron's nicknames is 'Hammer of Akron'.
Dude I swear if your right about these predictions your basically a god at that point
“We are the Dream Team’s Nightmare!”
'I have a dream' by Kyrie is a reference of him saying in an interview that Martin Luther king was criticized just like how he is
Thanks man. I didn't know Kyrie's that quote.
I think it will be Alex Caruso, JR Smith or Ray Allen.
Alex - he’s constantly hyped as the GOAT in today’s game
JR - Extremely unexpected former teammate
Ray - Frequently credited as Saving LeBron’s legacy
Alikem Dey Could include Tacko Fall in there, because he was hinted at in the last episode
isaih thomas should appear to take revenge on the dream team.
Dude I was literally thinking Ray Allen because Seattle, Giannis praying and the clutch shot. Then a second later, he says Ray Allen!! I’m hype for the finale!!!!!
I low key thought that Brad Steven is Greg Popovich
Thanks for these vids. They’re really helpful when a new GoZ episode comes out!
Let’s go been waiting for you bro
Im so sure that JR Smith will save Lebron in the last episode
It would be epic!!!!
Hell no
That would actually be kinda legit 😂. JR gets so much hate for one bad play
Such an underrated page, love your breakdowns.
16:54 You can hear someone say "Block The Lane," because Russ scores best when driving.
8:23 “Kiddie” lmao😂😂
10:52 "rejected for being way too stupid" Bruh that killed LMAO
Can't believe you got this up already. You deserve way more subs.
I love your channel you make understanding the episodes easy breaking it down much respect for the time you put in to research I mean we all can but I'm just to lazy to
U missed the barrels that were labeled "Thon makers Mark" and " Star Berries" referencing Thon Maker and Starbury clothing
Sean Makers Mark = Sean Marks Nets executive/coach for 2 seasons
Time
I get the feeling Bill Russell comes in to take the title from both of them
Cannot wait for your analysis from today's episode!!
19:34 The Process on Embiid's sword
what was that, a "Power Sword"??
while Rudy Gobert holds a "Power Ax"
Steph Curry holds a "Power bow"
who held the "Power daggers" and the "Power lance"??
Lebron's quote on 40K gold might be a prophecy that he'll gonna reach 40K points & beating Kareem Abdul Jabar on the highest all-time scores by an NBA Player. I hope that one might come true in a year or 2 from now before he'll retire on NBA. 😉
You are an amazing UA-camr, very underrated. Thanks for making good content. Thanks for the like NAK
19:26 LeThanos
Dame singing that song was a reference to a Game of Thrones episode when Podrick also sang a song before the fight with the white walkers.
Kyrie has a mlk reference because of a past interview Edit:mlk my bad
I was finding so many easter eggs and thought which ones will i match with you when i was watching it this morning
U should mash up with this dude, you definitely have an eye for some that most won't notice like the star bury I didn't see or the block the lane in the background. So this last game of zones is memorable
Isn’t Kyries speech a reference to Martin Luther king cause he starts it with “I have a dream”
I waited for this episode it’s so good
I love that Ball Don't Lie portion!!! 🤣🤣🤣
You missed at 4:44 “take my talents to the chamber pot” is a Easter egg reference to LeBron and the Decision. Kobe also said this when entering the NBA straight from high school. RIP KOBE
Huh? Just watch that scene again. He didn't forgot it
Watching NAK's review after a game of zones episode is the best!
there were more game of zones episode worthy that wasn't made at all....
it's a betrayal that they ended this series so early, when more stories infact were made just last season and this season as well...
Ur the best dude keep it up🔥
It’s going to be Alex Caruso to save lebron james
Imma comeback here when that happens And give you an upvote.
Tacko Fall is going to save Jayson Tatum
seems convincing
The Bald Mamba will strike again!!!!
Shaq and Tim Duncan are 2 more people I thought about
I love how the Sun Kings demise made more sense than the Dothraki
Let's Goooo thx so much bro
The reason the sunkings called bagley Jarren Jackson jr is because In the sun king episode they had a banner saying king grizzlies
That banner in the "SunKings" episode implied that the Kings had already attempted a meger with the Grizzlies, making them the "Krizzlies" It hadn't anything to do with Jarren Jackson.
Let go!!!
love your content bro
4:55 The barrels are easter eggs referencing former Nets players.
Sean Maker's Mark: Sean Marks
Kittle One: Kerry Kittles
Fermented Star Berries: Stephon Marbury
Triple Double IPA: Jason Kidd
I love this guy I have been watching him since day 1
You missed a reference at 6:22 where Kyrie says Martin Luther Kings famous “I have a dream” speech and at 16:47 you can see Carmelo Anthony in his hoodie form when he doing good at practice for the thunder and at 19:42 you can see Steph Curry with a bow and arrow which is a reference to his long distance shooting
Love this series!
Thanks for this amazing job. I'd lost so many ref without your video.
Great content ✊🏾
I hope Jordan's defeat won't be as disappointing as the Night King's.
You missed the fact that Steph Curry has a bow and arrow showing he shoots arrows like he shoots 3s and Rudy Gobert and Anthony Davis having shields and swords because they are amazing defensive players
11:00 Jordan's face is also a baseball, a reference to his baseball career
No it ain't
Btw at 19:47 you can see on Anthony Davis and Rudy Gobert’s shields are Their logo a reference to the all star game where players on their jerseys would have their logos
This channel crushing the references! 3:17 surely a reference to this being the longest game of zones yet?
Rivers: Because We’ve got the ultimate weapon.
LeBron: Analytics?
No
You.
Me in my head: Curry: in the corner thinking about how bad he should cross up Magic Johnson, not even listening
this just makes the show better
Kawhi Leonard will defeat Jordan because They are compared and He is the Lebron stopper or Thon Maker will help Lebron because in S5 E3 Thon is James Naismith and he knows the soul box's weakness.
Oooh that ray alllen prediction feels so right!
There are some references on there weapons first of is curry using a bow instead of a sword is a reference to him being a sharpshooter player second is AD and Gobert had a shield is a reference to them being a good defender.
I love your predictions
At the last scene you can also see that Curry is using a bow to battle (reference to his great shooting ability) and Gobert and AD are using shields with their teams logos on it (reference to their defense)
You are great man. Love u
Dame Lillard will save the realm- the last episode of game of thrones was at the same day of Lillard’s winning shot against the Thunder and the won the series in clutch time like Arya
The broach on Kobe’s tunic is a snake but it also is the number 80 which is a reference to his 80 point game
I haven't heard the Ray Allen guess yet but that makes SO much sense.
Your predictions are so good I believe atleast one has to be true
i get chills every time silver says seattle
The horse who does horse things
is going to save the realm.
