I love the Fine and Hotel collection from Amex. So obsessed with your blog.Thank you for your sharing of your stay. Will consider for this ones in Feb. 😊
Thank you Thom ☺️ it's definitely a great program and you get full hotel benefits (status points, status recognition) while also getting FH&R benefits. ✌️
@@ThomNguyen-bj8te unfortunately unlike Marriott where if room upgraded is a club room you get club access, Accor only grants club access if you booked a club room or have ALL Platinum (and above) status
This is a lovely hotel we stayed there a couple of years ago, the view from the lounge is amazing but when we went there it wasnt warm enough to swim in that amazing pool
@@davedotravel Ive stayed at numerous hotels in the CBD, love the pool at Sheraton on the park, the Amora Jamison for an older hotel has a nice pool and the one in the basement in the Hilton although its part of the gym is also great for laps
Oh I haven't been to the ones you mentioned but it's nice to know :D Thanks for the info hehe! The one at Shangri-la is also quite nice. Indoor but heated and you can do laps!!
Unfortunately no, with AMEX FH&R program, you get 4pm guaranteed late check out, room upgrades, 12pm check in, breakfast and US$100 room credit. I got club access through my ALL Platinum membership. You can still get club access by booking a room that includes Club Access through Amex, however I think with the US$100 room credit, you can use it at the newly opened Lumiere Bar on Level 35 (same space as Club) which opened from 8:30pm onwards.
The lounge is overcrowed at times due to an error that granted 40 nights to a lot of the gold members pushing them up to platinum - from Jan 2025 it should go back to normal. The food at Atelier is amazing - make sure you tip well specially if you stay here often the staff attention sure deserve it.
I didn't notice it being too crowded when I was there but it could be a different story for others. Staffs remember me by now so I reckon I did the right thing? 😉

@@davedotravel I love the upon upgrades available for this program. Do we need to upgraded the room to access to the club?
