    When I was at my lowest back in 2014. I used to play this video on loop for several years up 'til now. Trying to make something out of what little was left in me. I just want to thank whoever made this video and to all the speakers in the video. I eventually dug myself out of that hole and began building myself. I eventually got some success in the photography field and I was made a brand ambassador for a top brand in our country. Then I sought to conquer another field and then became an athlete. I broke records and won my first international competition last year. I became the top 2 ranked athlete for Men's division for the country at the time of this writing and a proud member of our country's official team.
    To all the broken, the depressed and the hungry, know that you have the strength to succeed. I know how it feels to be trapped by our failures. Trust me I've been there. You just have to keep moving forward and never look back. Face tomorrow for it brings much fortune to those who are willing to work for it.

    3 years ago I had a little health scare (but I’m ok). I decided to make a bucket list of the 250+ things I want to do before I die. I’m on a mission to finish my list and one day be remembered as The Guy That’s Done Everything. Hopefully the channel can help motivate you to get out there one day and finally do those things you’ve always dreamed of! Any $ the channel makes on advertisements I will be spending on random strangers and the less fortunate! Helping them to do things they’ve always wanted to do. Thousands of subs already and only been on here a year!

    It's awesome to see that the internet is not full of trolls and people who bring others down. We need to support each other, we're not alone. You don't have to achieve everything on your own. But it is you, who has to do it, others can support but not do it for you.
    Cheers to everyone achieving their dreams, succes!

    It's ironic because I keep both Limitless and Pursuit of Happiness on my Playstation 3 saved on the Hard Drive to watch it a few days ago and remind myself of what shit could be like instead of settling for less or being "comfortable" with what I have now.. Why not be even more?
    We know we should do better but not all of us are going to put the time, effort and work together to do it.. Alot of people think it'll just happen overnight. You hear and see how good people are doing but you never know the scrapes, bruises, burns and pain aches they had to endure to get it.

      Motivational speeches sound nice and all, but life isn't a Will Smith movie. Most people that try, fail.
      Regardless of how "badly" you want "it". Or how much sleep you skip, or how many fucking books you read, or how hard you try. Most of the time you will just get shit on. Most people never make it.
      Some do though, so that's neat. Those people don't need motivational youtube videos anyway.

      Hey there brothers and sisters, I can't believe I'll be on the telling side of the things. We can't hug right now but hey, consider it a hug from your brother. Alright?
      Just couple of weeks ago, I was wondering what would be the quickest way to end my life. For the last 4 years of my life, I spent wishing death and I didn't have d balls to kill myself.
      4 years ago, the word "years" was just a word to me. Till my time turned against me, my education, my career, my live life and my family life got effected so badly that I wished nothing but a disaster. Trust me, it wasn't easy for me to cope with anyone, even myself.
      And just like all you brothers, I started sending messages here and on various platforms. At that moment I felt that it's just another motivational line by a stranger, like I am leaving here.
      4 years later, just two days ago, I've seen a ray of hope.
      Took me 4 years guys.
      And my journey has just begun.
      So what I wanna say is, like we wait for the rain to be over, let's wait for these rains to be over. Trust me brothers and sisters, it too will pass. My love to all of you here.

      I'm paraphrasing, but the father of psychology said before you label yourself depressed, first make sure you are not surrounded by assholes. Once, I thought that suicide was an answer, now I know that living-not surviving-is the answer. We survivors make it so damned difficult on ourselves to reach up and grasp the ladder that leads us to actual life and not survival. We can choose. We can choose to make changes in our lives so that happiness can infiltrate our gloom, but this is painful to us. Why? Because it is easier to live in our comfortably depressed life than open a door and step away from what affects us. I wish you enough KillaTeddy3210, enough sadness so you can appreciate the happiness, enough pain so you can appreciate the joy, enough darkness so the light blinds you and enough LOVE so the hatred in the world cannot penetrate your body, mind and spirit.

    I like a lot of this video. I have a couple of big 'buts', though. Way too much emphasis on money. Not everybody has that as their main goal, and it's just a by-product, in the end. It won't make a person happy by itself. And the 'turn off the news' thing. Yeah, for a while if you need to. But not permanently. Just a few thoughts...

    • @Lazarusrizing
      @Lazarusrizing 9 років тому +1

      I appreciate what you said about money. What's really sad is that you didn't get a high rating for it. I remember Russell Simmons once said that he knew 14 out of 16 millionaires who were miserable. It's a tragedy that this truth still doesn't penetrate many. As for the news, I just think folks need to stop setting their mindset by the news-- because meditating on it makes them sick.

    • @pchamney
      @pchamney 9 років тому

      Lazarusrizing Thanks. I'm not here for ratings, so that's okay. ;) Glad you said what you did about how we deal with news, because I missed making that point. How we use it is as important as what, & how much, we take in. Balance is key. I was concerned that some people might take the video's approach to it as advice to be ignorant. I don't think that's what was intended.

    • @colonyone1556
      @colonyone1556 9 років тому +2

      Yes, I agree, you both make good points. The meaning of 'Don't look at the news, no no." Is that it's generally so negative, actually always so negative, that this negativity will have an enormous impact on your mind. Your consciousness is like water. If you put in negativity, that will just as evenly dissipate throughout your mind as positivity. The news is, quite often, actually irrelevant to you. It's generally inaccurate, and although it's good to know what's going on in the world, there often isn't much you can do about it at that scale, and so it stresses you out when it has almost nothing to do with you.
      All you can really do is make a local impact on what's right in front of you and hope for the best.

    • @pchamney
      @pchamney 9 років тому

      Colony One
      To assume us to be passive and powerless consumers of news is a mistake. I can decide how much news I want to see and hear. I can decide what, if anything, I'm going to do about it. We're not powerless en masse, especially today. If I didn't know what was going on, I couldn't contact people and sign petitions that change policy - Internet Neutrality is a good example. We were about to lose it in the U.S., and from this week's news it appears that we won't after all. The outcome remains to be seen, but there are a number of success stories from similar campaigns. There's a learning curve to doing what you can and moving on mentally, but it's hardly impossible.

If u find happiness in putting blood and sweat to ur drms, ok then its fine. Other wise b happy of what u r. Make peace with ur life. Love ur parents, spend time with ur family instead spending time future. Love what u do. Make friends, smile often, help somebody in whatever way u can. Go out, and see whatever u want . this world is big. Take ur loved ones. With u. Get knowledge, try to know new things...... So just chill. Don't chase all these colour full philosophies.

      You're on the right track. Keep asking yourself what your purpose is. Read books on how to find your purpose. Watch videos on the subject. What makes you happy? Use your imagination and create something. Read the book, "Do What You Love And The Money Will Follow." Do something for someone you don't know, which doesn't require anything in return. Feel how that feels. Are you young? Are you old? Do you feel like time is running out? Are you hanging with a bad crowd? Set small goals for yourself, and then follow through. It will come to you. Best of luck to you.

I have read many books on the subject but I dont know, I still havent found my purpose. I know what I love and that is football but unfortunately I am too old to pursue that dream to the level I really would have liked..... Thanks for your comment though it has opened me up somewhat to see what might come in the next year or so. I just really hope I can find something I love and be the best at it....
