I've been enjoying my Pocket 3 since it came out. I've gotten great video and pictures with it. Whenever I show it to someone, they are very impressed by it. Two things that annoy me is when the end of the gimbal movement is reached while tracking which means the subject is lost. Also, the requirement to choose whether to use the joystick to move the gimbal up and down or to zoom. Too many times I've found myself zooming when I wanted to go up and down and vice versa.
Mines turned itself off on two occasions due to heat but it was 40°c here in Thailand.

Another great video Danny! I got the pocket three as a gift and I really haven't begun to use it much yet. I'm looking forward to getting comfortable with it and getting some great video in the near future!

It’s a solid camera for sure! Good overview.
I have a big issue with the gimbal hitting the end of the gimbal motion. This seems to be caused when you are tilting the camera with the joystick and also moving the camera side to side by hand. In other words you can't tilt and pan at the same time. As soon as you start to tilt, the camera is locked forward and points in the same direction regardless of how you pan. So if you pan too far it will reach the max of the gimbal at either side. This is something that the Pocket 1 or 2 did not do. Another item I would like is for the presets to also save the zoom settings.
I also looked at the Freewell lens pack you showed. I liked that the ND filters were stackable but I was rather disappointed to learn that you had to stack the macro and wide angle to use wide angle. I also don't like such high ND filters. I would prefer they go 8, 16, 32. What would I ever use a 128 for?

A hell of a lot of landscape photography vloggers are using the pocket 3 for their talking head shots in the field and you wouldn't know it from the footage. It's only the fact you see the case in their hand that you realise.
Definitely been thinking about picking this up. Have a trip to the DR coming up where I may want this at times compared to the R5. Or maybe the Insta360 X4.
The pocket 3 has been the best camera for me a beginner youtuber. It simple to use and i can have it on me without taking up to much space.
I still use my action 4 in more rough conditions 😊
i couldnt agree more about the storage case, but also the shall we call travel bag. once it was unpacked be stuffed if i could fit it all back in there. something with a little more room would have been nice
I agree with you about the filters being to hard to get off. And also the travel case isn't big enough for all components that come in the creators combo. But the images quality is awesome, which is most important feature. Great six month review, thanks for sharing.
Hi. Do you have a solution for the horrific stutter/jitter when panning? 4k 30pfs 60 shutter
Seems like the filters could have a rough edge, or slight lip to satisfy the problem removing lenses. Reminds me that some delicate delicate products have a swap tool. Or maybe a microfiber cloth can serve that purpose. A lock feature is a no brainer.
Does anybody knows how good it is to record sports? Would work to track a soccer ball in a soccer game on its own?

Still looks like a webcam or mid gopro. Too much effort to get it to look good. All the real estate agents got these and it is not really good results straight ooc
I love it. I couldn't get the quality of the OP3 from anything at all for $700.
