Just another college athlete that is unable to translate marginal ability in to a professional career. All hype and no talent. Half of her rebounds come from her own missed lay ups.

I read Reese sat at LSU due to academic ineligibilty, but she now denies the sub 2.0 GPA requirement and says it was because of friction with the coach. Either one is not good.

When the team didn’t announce the injury but Reese did it made it questionable. When she announced the type of injury and that she chose surgery instead of her team it looked like the team wasn’t the focus she was. Her podcast just made things worse because it was all about her and her needs and nothing about what was best for the team. She can’t even sit on the bench with her team without making it about her. I think the team was going to stop concentrating on her and her ROY and double doubles and sit her on the bench and focus on making the playoffs. So since she had the injury she could sit it out and have it not be blamed on her. Her Ego is way too big for her talent level. At least right now.

IMHO she is very talented, the Dennis Rodman of the league. This girl can rebound! Unfortunately, she lets other things, like her emotions, get in the way of being the best BB player she can be. She should focus on doing what Michael Jordan did when he was criticized for lack of defensive ability. He won DPOY the following year. If she cleaned up her shot (bricks) and focused on her role on the team and less "me" focus, she would be amazing.
