Couple of questions for you. You say the birds are roosted right above you but you set all that stuff up the day before? Does that effect them, especially the decoys? Also, do they roost that spot year after year? Great bird. Congrats!

I get decoys setup like I want the day before but then pull decoys and leave decoy stakes. Stash decoys by tree covered with leaves overnight. Then set decoys up in dark in morning before climbing in blind. Yes I think leaving decoys set up would screw it up. Yes always birds roosted somewhere in that area.
