I love Jonas Hellborg. He is so kind and humble. And out of politeness I wouldn't comment. But I keep imagining Shawn Lane looking at a keyboard. He would smile or even laugh or even ask "Can I play?" 😅
I saw the three guys in spring 1990 (i think) in a small club in Braunschweig, Germany. It was great. Some years later i saw them in Hannover. It was a double concert with Caspar Brötzmann. Really curious!!
Song is called Moving from the album e The whole album is great and there's a version of the Russian national anthem which is beautiful. The ending of this check out anders drumming, crazy
I was a kid when this came out somewhere in the early 90's. Liked it, so I went and saw them in a jazz-club in copenhagen. Lots of inspiration, but the biggest impression on me was how effortless and calm (bored?) the drummer (Jamie) was while pumpin' out this complex formula-1 style drummin'. Don't think I've seen that since.
Holy smith, I got this on midi file from Jens' panix.com web site long long time ago. The only difference was there's a keyboard solo instead of a bass one.
@DimeCrisBag it's probably as simple as people encouraging kids to play instruments instead of cancelling music classes and programs like over here in america.
This, horrible music? What do you like, Metallica? Jesus Christ, these are extremely technical and expert musicians. What the hell is wrong with music's listeners today?
I love Jonas Hellborg. He is so kind and humble. And out of politeness I wouldn't comment. But I keep imagining Shawn Lane looking at a keyboard. He would smile or even laugh
Stunning power trio...¡¡¡😎😎😎
Jens Johansson is awesome!
Jens go me started on bass from an early gig in Malmoe on the beach. Unforgettable gigs with jens/anders together with Jonas H back in the days.

Grymt bra detta! Tack Anders!
Awesome stuff!!! Btw...
Thanks for telling Jonas about Shawn!!!
We're eternally greatful...
The ring-modulated ambient starting of Jonas' solo is something! Really unexpected, and mesmerizing.
Johannson brothers rock! I loved the keyboard leads on odyssey. Awesome musicians! Badass bass player too!
this song is called "moving" from the album Jonas Hellborg group (1990) with J Hellborg (bass) Anders Nord (bass) and Jaime Salazar(drum)
This is so awesome--they look so happy playing together!\m/

It irritates me how Hellborg almost never looks at the fretboard.

Man that was fkg HOT!!
I love this a lot, and gotta comment we see too few bass players around using bass like Jonas does.

Impressive!
It makes me happy to know Jonas and I share the same style of facial hair.

search in the taringa! blog, its in spanish, lol, but there I found it, just search for the album itself, that you are going to find it.
@relicanth101 Yeah, I love that, too--such a beautiful man with an even more beautiful talent!\m/

Until now I couldn't imagine playing bass as a guitar.
Lemmy
@@svenjansen2134 thanks
i too want to buy this album i cant find it anywhere
does anyone know what 'whammy bar' system hellborg is using?
@DimeCrisBag it's probably as simple as people encouraging kids to play instruments instead of cancelling music classes and programs like over here in america.
@Zappafan1980
I guess it's 1994 or 1995. This is from "E".
Any body know the time signature of the main riff, that is uber cool
Shred Sixsixsix
Yes. it is 33/16
or 11/16 times three.
So it's almost like 5/4
Wow Rex from Pantera is really showing his chops on this one ,with those Yngwie guys.
Shred Sixsixsix Hi. no. 11/16
dakite dakite dakite daka
123 123 123 12 , kind of thing... hmmm. I must listen again
BASS POWER!
PhatLarkin - Kahler - they make bass vibratos : )

Muy bonito... como se llama ese proyecto???
nice ! です.
Cool Bag Of Rhythm - Right On - WorldwidewelcomE - VIKING
Sounds similar to some band called Warhorse or something from the early 70's. It had Nick Simper from Deep Purple on bass.
WAL!!!

OUT>>>STINKIN>>>RAGEOUS!!!!!!!!
jeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesus christ!

@lovekurt
ブリスベン見附...
cantrell on keys
i prefer the studio version
lol
This is just Sport... some sort of competition - not music
Yes! Sports-fusion.
to be fair i would say mark king (of level 42) would be better king has a better tone and slap technique
than again thats only my opinion
but probably just as boring as this, Jen's is the man and this is no doubt good technical music but it's boring as hell.
