this game looks so fun! so excited for this! plus this seems to be one of the few zombie games that looks like it will be scary as all hell with having to fight zombies in the dead of night with all sorts of other zombie like creatures that go bump in the night.

Did you console guys get screwed over or something I played this on PC and this is pretty much what we got. The only 2 things I noticed were that the wall jump+attack combo and ripping the zombies heart was not part of the game.

I want a AAA console (dont have a PC yet, not for a while) zombie game that doesn't empower you with all these weapons, and the main focus is survival. Get rid of the special zombies, and stick to the two basic types, the slow undead and the fast infected. Make them hard, hard enough that it forces players to consider avoiding confrontation. If you want to add special zombies, make them rare and unique, not these cookie cutter types (tanks, acid spitters, wild/rabid ones). Dying Light's parkour element is a much needed step forward for the genre, but now im waiting for the one developer to fuse ALL of these elements from every zombie game into one perfect Zombie Survival game. Open-world, Parkour, stealth(visual and sound), Survival (food, water, crafting), Tower defense, melee weapons, limited gun+ammo, permadeath mode, exploration(with a meta story), skill tree/rpg leveling system, customizable character? Dialogue wheel/game-changing decisions? Co-op. Vehicles (with obvious advantages and consequences). one day...one day...
To be honest this game seemed like it should've been delayed to February I hate to say it, but looking back at its demos it really needed work. And it still does! I thought we'd be playing the whole game in the suburban place or whatever it is, that was in the demos. But no, we get to even be in a FREAKING CITY/TOWN!!!! With endless possibilities. Images it! Can't wait to finally see Coop and get my hands on this game. Sucks that I'll have to download it for like a day first, dang next gen console game downloading!
brutis yes, but Mirror's Edge is also realistic (except from 2-3 scenes) I just hoped for a Zombie game with realistic parcour elements. It would not be too bad if you can make unrealistic stunts,as you can do in Assassin's Creed for example. And in all the gameplays it looked like a realistic game, this one is the first with really unrealistic elements just for you to know, I don't say meat eating zombie nazi alien-hybrids from an underwater-volcano with domesticated Grizzly Bears with chainsaws are unrealistic. But if you as a normal man can do unrealistic things, then I would say it's unrealistic. Sometimes this is not bad, but in a case where most fans exspected some really hard survival stuff...
Fusslpro I see your point, but I knew from the beginning, from the very first trailer, that this game is going this way. I expected nothing else from the creators of Dead Island and I'm looking forward to play this game. But yeah, this must be a disappointing moment for gamers who thought this will be a kind of "Zombie-Apocalypse-Simulator" like DayZ just mixed with Mirror's Edge. But this game orientates more on ME (my alltime favourite game) just with zombies and splatter, eventually a skilltree and weapon crafting. I like things like that.

wait i thought this was coming out on PS4/XOne and PC only. So its ANOTHER game that is cross gen and held back from the older consoles limitations. You cant harness the power of new consoles if you are making it for older consoles because whatever you do has to work for the older tech. Now im very let down. Agree 100% Slow pokes need to catch up and upgrade their PCs and consoles, it's about time. This game really impressed me with the old trailer but this looks noticeably worse, a trend we are seeing in many games advertised today. Game looks flawless and fluid in the initial reveal, then near the release more ugliness and jankyness becomes loudly obvious, cough watchdogs cough farcry 3 cough battlefield cough dark souls 2 cough, I could keep coughing all day. The old trailer looked ground breaking, this looks like a shiny version of Dead Island, excitement steadily dropping...
I had massive amounts of respect for Techland until I saw these earlier trailers. The amount of cut content is fucking insane and it's gross. The current game is practically a shell compared to this. It's not even as scary at night because you don't get insta-spotted. It's sad.

no im being srs i really really enjoyed dead island but the guns were pure FUCKIING SHIT. And the controls for the guns and the gampley for guns were so bad that my ass exploded

So you think the grappling hooks to op we'll see at the end when the greenish zombie craws up there's probably more at night than day so the grappling hook won't be to op as you think it will be
So, where is the gameplay part? All I see is scripted and/or pre-rendered trailer that in no way represents the final product...
