  • This is new video format which took me a long time to edit, so I hope you enjoyed watching...
At 4,000 meters above sea level, the world's largest salt desert, the Salar de Uyuni, is located in Bolivia. It contains the world's first reserves of lithium, an extremely light metal that has become indispensable for electric vehicle batteries.
Located in southeastern Bolivia, the Uyuni salt desert covers 10,582 square kilometers in the department of Potosí, within the high plateau region of the Andes mountain range.
The Salar de Uyuni is the world's largest lithium deposit, accounting for 50-70% of the world's lithium, and also has significant amounts of potassium, boron and magnesium.
Incahuasi Island, meaning "the house of the Inca" in Quechua, is a Bolivian island in the central part of the Salar de Uyuni, department of Potosí.

I’m also planning a trip there too, but I want to go when the salt flat is reflective 🥺 does it depend on the time of the day? Did you happen to ask anyone when the salt is reflective?

No it doesn’t depend on the time of the day! The season of the reflective salt flats starts around mid December and lasts till February but you have the best chances in January!
