The jaw is part of the head. Nurse was looking at the ice because the puck was rolling on it's edge & he was trying to get it to sit flat to make a play. Reavo has the responsibility not to contact the head, which includes the jaw. Secondly, as he arrived at contact, he lifted up which made it worse. Had he driven into Nurse's shoulder there's likely no penalty. Stop blaming the victim. The hit & how it was delivered is completely on Reaves. He is lucky he only got 5 as a repeat offender.

Max Domi is a prime example that garbage players can have their paths paved for them by their fathers sacrifices for the Leafs. My question is how long will y'all keep Max Domi as repayment because he's clearly garbage and you're keeping him as if you owe Tie Domi something. On a side note Reeves deserves more ice time. This man could be a good protection for star players trying to rush inside. Let him do what Gretzkys bodyguards did for him. So please put him on one of the top lines. He is a Reaves fan (as am I), but he's been disagreeing with my assessment that Reaves simply cannot keep up anymore. He phoned me today & said "now that I've seen Reavo, up close & not just on TV, I hate to agree with you, but you're right.....he's too slow & does nothing on offence". Reaves is turning 38 this January & I guarantee you, assuming he's not demoted to the AHL, he will never be on one of the top 2 lines. He is barely a 4th line guy & frankly, imo is a drag on the 4th line.

NHL'ers play 2-3 times a week. NFL'ers play only once a week. Both are contact sports.
