Done it in a car, awesome, think it was a post famine government employment project. Stunning part of Ireland, first went 1977 for my last holiday with my parents, I was 17, remember the lovely Irish girls and fell in love with Guinness, 64 now and still love both and motorbikes of course🤣👍😉 PS. Done that ferry on a bike too, I was panicking😉
I mentioned on previous vids that I was heading over. Well that was last week. Landed at Larne and had a great few days on the Antrim Coast. We then did the Wild Atlantic Way. He got our arses handed to us by the westher system around Hurricane Ernesto. Jeez!!! Got down as far as Kilrush, had a double puncture as I approached the hotel. The tyre issue, the fact that the others were making their way back and the incoming weather meant I bailed out on the two days around the South Coast to Dublin. I'm now watching and remembering your vids to fill in the gaps! The good news for me is that a group of us are likely to do the South next year 😂👍 I also came back via Snowdonia and besides all the fallen tree debris it made a pleasant end to my trip before I hit the M6 Toll heading for Essex! I look forward to continuing watching this season 👍
Not sure why but it seems YT has decided not to notify me of your videos, so I'm playing 'catch up'. Nice to see the sun come out, hope it stays that way. 👍 Scenery always looks so much nicer to me ( especially on video) when the sun is shining.
Great Vid Shaun 👍🏻 keep them coming 👍🏻looks like you are loving the Tiger mate, don’t think you would have been so chippa after that long in the saddle on the BM 👍🏻🏍️💨💨👍🏻👍🏻 ride safe buddy 🏍️💨💨👍🏻👍🏻
Hi Shaun, hope you well. The Mrs & I have been watching your videos for a while now and they are great, we really enjoyed your Scotland trip from last year, we live up in Northeast Scotland, your Ireland trip this year has had some spectacular views & scenery just a shame the weather has not always been on your side. Keep up the splendid work and thanks for sharing these videos, Stay Safe 🤘🏍
Thank you both for your positive feedback, very much appreciated. I still very much enjoy the ride even in bad weather. Yes, sunshine is always better, but sometimes makes it more memorable if its more of a challenge. I'd still take weather like I had in Scotland given the choice though👍😎
Great video as always Shaun. You need to do an in depth video of the new ride. Features it has, how it is day to day, do you miss the S1000XR over the Triumph and so on. I been waiting for that kind of video from you :p.
Niz footage guy…. Always somewhere niz to go in our lil country. If only da wdr was more kind to us. What is da make of your camera that you were taking photos with.. looked very lovely set up. Glad you liked da Emerald Isle visit. Be safe bro… 👍
Just revisited my May holiday.😁 Did the Gap of Dunloe opposite way round though (by car) coming upon a contractor in a Scania 8 wheel tipper in the Black Valley. Had to reverse a mile in wife's manual car with a spinal injury.🤦 Fun, not. Love the Healy, the Ring and the Conor but the Gap of Dunloe is the daddy. And as we live up in Co Armagh we get to do it regularly.😀
@@thelikeablerider8800 I did it at 8am, which was great as the Jarvies don't start until 10am. The only sodding thing we met was that lorry, was told they were getting resurfacing done before crowds came along🤦 I noticed a lack of motorhomes in your travels, blighters were everywhere for us but then we were there at Easter.
Recently subscribed to your channel and have Watched every episode so far and it's so well done, videos nice and clear, sound, is just right and of course the commentary, scenery is beautiful. as someone who knows zero about blogging, or the kit you use I can see a camera on a stick on the right but I can see a piece of tech on your left hand handlebar ,looks like a phone can I ask you what that is please.?
Hi Steve Thank you for your very positive feedback, it's very much appreciated. Yes that's my phone which I use to control my audio recorder, which is in my jacket pocket, with a lav Mic wired up into my helmet. Just means it can stay in my pocket and I can control it via an App👍😜
Luv the vid. Just a personal, I think sticker sticking is rather childish. Sticker boards like John o groats maybe OK. No offence. I've praised your channel consistently. Just this little pet peeve
Not sure what's childish about it, I think it's quite nice to see who else has visited the same places. Sticking them buildings or hindering an important sign isn't okay, I'm sure that's why they made the board at John o Groats, which is a cool idea. I think for most it's a sign of achievement, which is important to people. An extreme example, but look at the top of Mount Everest! Many thanks for your praise Dave, much appreciated👍😜
@@thelikeablerider8800 I understand your point, really. And I apologise for the phrase childish. Just rubs me the wrong way. Other wise you're channel is champion. Been following since your first Xrs1000 beemer
Glad to know that I'm not only one who makes reversing sounds when backing the bike into a parking slot!
Always enjoy your videos from the states💯 beautiful country and it would be a dream to ride there, ride safe my friend🙏
Great to hear that my content is promoted far and wide👍😎

Was definitely a chopping crossing, but a good pint of Guinness thereafter calms the nerves👍🍺

Blimey sounds like you had a dramatic one! I'm sure I'll give it another crack, and do some of the bits that I didn't do. Impossible to do it all!
Yep, it's big and a lot of it baren...which is great but I'm getting wary of travelling alone when theres no phone reception etc.
Bloody mint vid as usual mate thank you
Cheers Chris, you're more than welcome🤘😎

Nice one UA-cam!🤦♂️🤣
Brilliant. Need to book my tour.
I need to do the same! Unfortunately I'm a tad busy just now, and haven't been able to give next year even a thought!🤦♂️
astonishing journey , nice video 👍 beautiful road infrastructure, everything is absolutely right 👍👏🤗🏵️🍁

God! If I'd have done the trip on the XR, it would have broke me! I love the Tiger, much more comfortable, and just as quick👍😎
Absolute stonka that one 👍👍👍
Just a tad! What an amazing day's riding👍😎
Another great video 🏴
Thanks Martin, probably the best day of tour👍😎
Thanks Shaun, brilliant as usual
Cheere Mark, I'm glad you enjoyed it! Probably one of the best days riding I've experienced on two wheels👍😎
Thanks for that Shaun, banged up at home with unseasonal tonsillitis so just what I needed!
I'm glad it helped, speedy recovery Steve!👍😜

My pleasure Mike👍😎
Spot on Shaun. Great vid. I must do Ireland, looks amazing.
It really was, and like Scotland the West Coast is best 👍😜

Can't say I'd fancy doing any of that in a car, be even slower going, but if you have the time, then why not!

Remember it well. As specially the Dingle peninsula
Was probably the best days ride on this tour, and this time on the right bike!👍😜
Congratulations on the videos. Could you please tell me how you record the sound from your helmet? Please (from Brazil) super tks
Hi
I use the Zoom F2 BT to record my audio👍😜
You seem to be enjoying the trip.
Not too much traffic and no " average speed" cameras here, in case you were wondering😂
Yes no average camera nonsense here, otherwise I'd have been screwed🤣👌

I agree, basically it's littering. If I want to admire a nice view I'd rather not have to look at a bunch of stickers.

Hi Shaun, can you tell me the details of your tank bag please, I need one for my Rally Explorer. Many thanks. Colin.
Hi Colin
It's the Pro Micro from SWMOTECH, great for the essentials 👌
