Luke Terry (Borderline, Digital Society, Suanda) takes the deep & poignant ‘Rust’ and gives it a shiny uplift for the Pure Trance 10 compilation. Rethinking the original’s melancholic layers may have been daunting to some, but Newcastle’s finest was unperturbed & the track works incredibly well at a jaunty 135bpm, glittering arpeggios aplenty raise the spirits, and the beautiful lead melody steals the show.
