@@adebowaleayobami9975 trust me, if I had the Bmpcc 4k when I started filming weddings I would be more than over excited. It is a beautiful camera Just learn it’s flaws and create your own solution and you will be fine
I use to have this camera but i do a lot of run and gun shooting. and honestly i woulndt mind learning how to focus manually but in some situations its not really practical for me. but Im probable gonna buy it again because I love the Braw codec, the colors are so rich!
Absolutely, it might not be the best camera for run and gun kind of workflow. But the BRAW is just on another level. I presently use my FX6 and A7SIII for run and gun and i use the Blackmagic for any situation where I need to colourgrade heavily or create something more like film
Nice video Samuel! I beg the difference, I honesty think that the mayor issue with this camera and all of the Pocket camera is that they do NOT allow you to make redundant back up of footage to dual cards in BRAW. I understand that cards do not fail often but lets say that your card does after a few years which is not far fetched, what are you going to do at moment? how are you going to explain to the couple that the memory card became corrupted, and unfortunately your camera did not allow you to make a back up of the footage, so they footage is gone? At that moment, I hope you have a really good insurance to pay the lawsuit or the redo. A7sIII is overall a significantly better camera for wedding, because it give your the option to back to dual cards.
Thanks Luis. I totally understand your perspective. Like I said in the video, the image that comes out of this camera is so beautiful that I always want to pick it over my other cameras even though it has so many things i need to work round to get it working for me. Working round the lack of dual storage, I often back my files up right immediately after any job. Even with the cameras that allow dual recording, you still want to do an additional back up.
Amazing work
