Well said. Im a uk fan and this game has the makings of louisville playing out of their minds. I don't think we should be as confident as i see a lot of fans being. Crowd in attendance will need to be rowdy
Even if Lamont Butler doesn't play much, if he could give us 10-12 minutes at point guard I'd be happy. We just need his leadership on the sideline at the very least.
( BBN ) Seriously I believe we will grind it out only because of the rivalry, I see both teams locked in . However down 2 point guards and more importantly missing Lamont Butler's ball pressure & decision making. Kentucky 83 - Louisville 76
Based on Pope's comments in his presser today I'm not optimistic Butler will play & after Wednesday's game I'm quite concerned without him Chucky Hepburn could shred us up. So if no Butler, I think this game could come down to the wire. We lose a TON without Lamont, especially against a team with a dude like Hepburn. Being at home I still think the Cats win regardless, but I don't see one more than 4 - 6 points, unless we're making 3s at a high rate.
@cenewton3221 exactly. This is the type of game where louisville shows up, shoots lights out, and keeps us on our heels. I think this is the type of game Carr balls out and keeps us in it, Oweh too. I hope Rupp is rocking and doesn't get taken out of it early
The Colgate game was a "feet wet" game for the freshmen. Pope kept at least one of them on the floor for most of that game to as he puts it "gather data early" so as to have some live ammo coming off the bench this season. Injuries happen. So when I hear this stuff about them being "off" in the Colgate game, I just shake my head a little. That was a break in in game and I'm sure coach expected some awkwardness as the frosh gain confidence. It went exactly as planned. I like Pope. He's smart and decisive.
Agree, Max. Garrison could be a huge X factor. This rivalry has become famous for an unsung hero to emerge and have a big game. My money is on Garrison.
If not who cares. We beat gonzaga who beat Baylor by 40 and Arkansas lost to Baylor. So should we beat Arkansas by 40 then? No, its not how it works lol
You don't do that missing both of your PG's. Expecting a 22 point win here is silly. I'm not saying it won't happen, but lets not pretend that Louisville isn't going to come into this game desperately wanting to win this in Rupp.

My Prediction(s):
With Butler: UK: 92 - UL: 75
Without Butler: UK: 85 - UL: 78
Of Butler doesn't play, Ky. by 10!

MARCH POPE. GO BIG BLUE
Cats 84 Cards 75
Kentucky 98-69
I hope you are right. Hopefully Butler can play.
lmao
Both teams shoot a lot of 3s. To me, whoever is hitting their 3s wins.
Didn't the Vols beat them on their court 77-55?
Kentucky by 15 plus
The team that played Gonzaga better show up
108-36
we’re about to show y’all how to play ACC big boy basketball. we run this state.
We already played Duke
UK 83
UL 67
delusion
Louisville basketball game
Player of the game will be Kerr trash talking from the Bench!!
As much as I want them to beat Louisville I would take the loss if we could beat Arkansas by 40+. Just saying.
Duke and Arkansas are my needed wins this season 😁
Louisville 88 to 76
TENNESSEE BEAT THEM BY 22 AT LOUISVILLE. KENTUCKY SHOULD DO THE SAME THING.
If not who cares. We beat gonzaga who beat Baylor by 40 and Arkansas lost to Baylor. So should we beat Arkansas by 40 then? No, its not how it works lol

Naw, it's definitely different. This is an in state rivalry, with Louisville desperate for a win. Because they haven't beat UK in forever
ANOTHER GUARANTEED WIN FOR WILDCATS😺
I still don’t like it Blake. I’m betting UL money line now
