Hey mate it deathcore metal. Although it is on the extreme end of it
I dunno any kiwis but if ya want a good aussie drumme check out lee stanton
Its got vocals this was just a drum dominant playthrough
Basic story to this dude. He is the drummer of black tongue, tried to tour the UK but church goers protested so they made this to piss the church off!
“There’s no lyrics”
- you don’t want to hear the lyrics 😂
OF COURSE HE WANTS TO !
Yes he does
band: INFANT ANNIHILATOR
song: CuntCrusher
The gears are set into place; the finals stages of purification are
Nudged into motion by our pious Pope. The prevention of the second
Coming of Christ is now drawing closer to completion. Dissolution of
Component forces act together as one - a single congregation tied
Together with one purpose in mind: The prevention of Christ's birth.
Dead are collected and piled to feed the flames of a furnace fire. The
Day lit sky is now blackened by the infant ashes. As they rise they
Bring us darkness, turning day to night. With the remnants of the
Children burning, we begin the last stage. Surviving females are
Loaded onto transports and then shipped to our parishes where they're
Tagged, then stripped of their clothing, assigned numbers and then
Taken to eugenic controlled concentration camps. This is where they
Spend the rest of their pathetic lives. One by one the worms dry out
In the sun at the mercy of their new master. Their existence exhausts
Itself without the ability to procreate. Seared onto their heads and
Their hands is the mark of The Beast. This holy number, sacred in its
Symbolism, now marks the doom of fertility. By the order of the Pope
We condemn them to be neutered with a machine devised to sterilize.
With a hundred tons of force, its name is The Cuntcrusher. Hooks
Pierce through their feet, then suspends them upside down to be fed
Into the side where they are conveyed to a press of blades. With their
Legs pried open, their cunts align. At the flick of a switch they are
Sterilized.
The lyrics are the worst part about Infant Annihilator.

If you notice you can see Aaron’s breath a couple of times. That’s because he’s playing in the 9th ring of hell for Lucifer himself. Lucifers icy wings are keeping Aaron from over heating.

I love when the older crew realize how good metal is when you strip the vocals out for them. Good for you man.
Yeah man!
Not that old though!?
HAHAHAHA
@@AndrewRooneyDrums ah well shit. Honestly the vocals do ruin metal for a lot of people, irrespective of age. Im sorry I was agist.
What you just heard was some of the fancier drumming out there in this genre. That whole cranking up a gear with the feet or "gravity blasting" by turning the stick into a lever against the snare rim and manipulating double stroke movement, its all fucking crazy.
You any good with your feet on a double kick?
No need to strip the vocals in my opinion but for the sake of analysis of Aaron’s god level drumming skills I get it! Great reaction to a legendary play through!
Many a music instructor have told me metal of any genre is the most difficult music, , to play. Learn, what ever. They all said its complicated.
@@joshuar3632 depends on the form of metal, but yeah even some of the more mainstream bands like Metallica have some pretty difficult songs technique wise.
You don't have to be a Metalhead to appreciate the talent and hard work these musicians put in to their music! You're awesome, man!
Hey Rusty! Thanks!
Yeah but they never play live. That’s the true test.
oh yes, the talent. Such a balance of gain on the mix and the sheer time it takes to set up the kick triggers to achieve this sound hmmm
This guy is fast as fuck. But what he's underrated on is how groovy his playing is. He's got a funky style which gets your head nodding along like its a hip hop track. Kitcher is the man
Aaron admitted on his livestream that IA's drums are programmed, though he's obviously still a great drummer as evident by his work in Black Tongue
@@Nyarlathotep999 yes but someone still has to sit down and figure out how it sounds in the first place. Its the creative direction
I am kind of wondering if he is one of the greatest drummers. I mean compared to Aaron, then Lars is kind of noob. The problem is, that Lars is not noob. Hmmm... Does that make Aaron a drummer god?
@@Nyarlathotep999 Hi can you explain what you mean by programmed? You can see him hitting the drums so I am not sure what you mean, thanks.
@@Ibanez-nt5rq When recording the music itself, they program the drums. Even though this is a playthrough video, it's still heavily edited and quantized to sound as clean as it does on the album. It's also heavily sampled as the snare doesn't actually sound that punchy, especially during the gravity blast. Aaron even said they programmed the drums when recording the music. I know Aaron is a great drummer but I also know that infant annihilator is a joke and is meant to be dumb extreme fun.
I know I’m late to the party but I want to say I appreciate the fact that you can appreciate and respect the skill of musicians across all types of genres.
Thanks Eric!!
The frontman is my brother! Thank you so much for acknowledging his band and I respect your opinion even though I'm biased!
That’s cool as shit! -some random fan
Dan Watson is your brother?
Who, Dickie?
Dan or Dickie?
Dan Watson is my brother. Of course I may be a bit biased, but Dan's vocals bring a naturally talented fresh nuance to this genre!
Yeah they are in a genre called Deathcore, the band itself is a parody of how crazy some bands are with insane and grotesque lyrics/content. This was a playthrough for a song that does have vocals but for the drumming video it's taken out.
Ah that makes sense Alec!
@@AndrewRooneyDrums the vocalists is a master, number 1 in the biz for what the genre is..
but dont ever read the lyrics lmaoo
Actually, there's an instrumental version of The Palpable Leprosy of Pollution album.
With Dickie the band are more Deathmetal than deathcore. The lows from Dickie's voice are insane. Technical brutal deathcore win Dan, Technical brutal deathmetal with Dickie.
@@ihatewhenubreath3 Nah, still very VERY deathcore
What I especially love about your reaction videos to metal is most of us hard core metal heads are in a way desensitized to seeing videos like this and it feels good to hear reactions from fresh ears! Makes me remember back to when I first heard stuff like this!
THAT'S AWESOME!
"Machine gun metal"
Slayer: "Its called artillary"
"Put down your sticks and take up gardening"

SLAUGHTER TO PREVAIL - DEMOLISHER (Drum Play-Through by Evgeny Novikov)
Thank you!
YES!
Definitely! The man's a beast!
@@Benobot99 yeah!
@@AndrewRooneyDrums If you do this one (and you should because it's a fantastic track) you'll have to realize that some of the drumming toward the end is done specifically to showcase some epic parts in the vocal section which are removed from the drum-playthrough.
It's a fantastic song, but JUST watching the drum playthrough, you might be a little confused why he's leaving so much space between notes. Its because the main Vocalist is basically channeling Satan with insane growls. I do recommend it, just bear that in mind when you watch.
Band name: Infant annihilator
Andrew: "Is this metal?"
Me: 🙄
HAHA! I meant what sub genre really :)
@@AndrewRooneyDrums Ik im just playing. I enjoy seeing people enjoying deathcore, you should check out Suicide Silence and White chapel 👑
@@AndrewRooneyDrums infant annihilator is really classified as technical progressive deathcore, but maybe I'm just a metal elitist lmao
@@fathomlives You're only an elitist if you gatekeep or act uppity about your opinions surrounding the bands/genres. Just clarifying I wouldn't think is elitist.
I mean, deathcore alone gets you As Blood Runs Black, this, Elysia, and Suicide Silence? I mean none of those bands sound the same. What if you wanted more like IA? You'd have to wade through thousands of same-y bands before you find anything. Better to have those really specific genre labels. In casual conversation, it's not really helpful. But for actual listeners it's really important I'd think.
@@RyanKaufman Yeah, you articulated it perfectly.
"Not just speed, but tasty" in a dope accent

They have a playthrough of just drums no guitar from when the track was still in demo mode
Just when you thought you knew how to play drums you see this and think yeah, never mind, I retire from what I used to think was playing drums lol Aaron is amazing though. There's some other playthroughs where he's on a simple looking electronic set and he just kills it. They do mock super heavy stuff as someone else mentioned below. There videos/music are kinda like a terrible accident that you oddly can't look away from and stay in your brain.
HAHA Nice Kevin!
I'd say he FAR from killed it on the small kit.
It's nice to finally see Kitcher getting some of the recognition he deserves. Whether you enjoy the genre, or their style, is irrelevant. There is no denying the raw talent this man exudes.
He can't actually play this stuff. He programmed all the drums on the album including what you hear in the vide
@@xdoseonex I love how even after all these years, under a video showing him actually playing the gd song in real time, there are still people who who believe this. Just because a musician uses programming during the production of an album, while cutting a record, does NOT mean they are physically incapable of playing it on a kit also...this video is literally proof of that. That's like saying just cause someone orders Mcdonalds for lunch one day, that they must be completely incapable of making a burger. Those two things are not exclusive, mate. Loads of musicians use programming to save on time but it doesn't make them talentless. Anyone who has produced music knows this.
320 bpm double bass moment
Dude!! They do have crazy vocals. Gotta check that song out with all of it together. Top tier music making right there.

Arron Kutcher is a beast.. I watched back when he would do drum covers. Then he started releasing this stuff and got big.
I always love watch guys who don't normally listen to metal watch something insane like this - they always seem to appreciate the hell out of it for what it is
That “Space Invader sound” is two guitars performing a sweep-picked, diminished arpeggio.
The gravity blasts he does are nuts. Also it’s instrumental. Their current vocalist is just as wild on vocals as Aaron is on drums. His names Dickie Allen and he’s an alien I’m certain.

I watch this once a week and love going back and forth between his playing and your reactions man 😂. Awesome
it brings joy to my heart to witness every non-metal listening watch/listen to their first gravity blast and usually this is the video i would show them. most non-metal heads write off the genre as just a bunch of noise but when you put a camera on someone with the technical prowess it's always eye-opening. i've been a metal head for most of my life and honestly the biggest detriment to the genre is the often very grotesque and/or misogynistic lyrics (more so in the extreme metal genre's), but instrumentally the music is just a joy to listen to.
