  • Looking at the damage caused by water. Managed to take out these speakers, but didn't cut the entire thing open which I was looking forward to. Speaker shootout coming soon.

Thanks for the video. I have a similar speaker which I think is assembled the same way. The power button failed so I'm trying to take it apart nondestructively! The bottom was straight forward with 10 screws but the top is a bit tricky. I'm guessing it's glued and screwed on mine

The blue pack battery is composed by two 18650 battery.
If you fully charge them and you hit them wit an hammer or drill them make EXTREMLY attention !!!
Those battery are potentially REALLY dangerous if damaged (especially if they are fully charged).
    P.S. Great video ★★★★★

If you drill this battery, you'll have to drill every subsequent battery to compare. Hammer is not a bad idea, but I vote for putting it in a fire. If you want that drone cone, you could use the rotary tool and cut from the outside.

Those are the exact little speakers and bass radiator that’s inside my echo dot Vaux speakers. The whole vaux thing stopped working, I disassembled it and found a capacitor in there had exploded. So, I took out the electronics and now use it wired to a small amp that I plug my iPad into. Believe it or not, those are pretty robust speakers. I’m overpowering them a bit and make them smell sometimes, but haven’t burned the voice coil, apparently. Just FYI....I actually could use more of those little woofers for a speaker project I’m designing.
