My friends and I 19 years ago cared little for serious strategy so pvp would always devolve into buster fights, and exchanges like that where we're bumping busters were so common. Who knows, maybe I'm talking out of my ass because trades like that happen more often than I realize in serious play, but the big hit of nostalgia was nice either way ^^
When you're guts style, it's all about forcing your opponent into buster fights so you can deal your double damage and flinch them with your rapid fire when they try to get out by using a chip.
My friend and I had a ban lost of chips back in high school when we played the original and Foldrbak was one of them. It’s nice to see a match that isn’t foldrbak plant man cheese. Great stuff
WHa- this is the balance patch isn't it? I notice that you opponent was completely murdered by you using magnum on his grass style on grass stage that and damage changes. Also air sword knocking off life aura was pretty cool
Nice playing! Your opponent seemed completely unprepared. I know it's an insane thought to pvp in bn3 given that bn6 has the best pvp, but to prepare for bn3 pvp, what advice can you give?
For BN3, if you want to win. Go with the plantman- folder back cheese. Legit just freezes opponent from the get go. Use plantman or flashman. They are very cheap. If you want to have fun then just do your own folder. As for the the navi style. I like guts lightning/wood or shadow(only in blue) flame
When it's not Custom Style Folderbak spam, I agree that BN3 PvP is interesting and fun

the patch hella nerfed folderback so you cant spam it and its only the last 7 chips
BN3 in general is interesting. I love BN6 and it has the best PvP but 3 just hits different
true, 4 also hits different, and 5, 2 is just unhinged and 1 is bm incarnate

yeah it takes some properties from bn6 like all wind chips blowing away barriers and auras

we have a balance patch that updates bn3 to have the qol of bn6 and rebalances problem chips like plant man or folderback
