Duke was in the pool like six hours earlier and he fired the gun, so water got into chamber with the next round which means the bullet that hit Helen was going like 600 times slower than it was supposed to. thank you Rian Johnson for my life

oooh, i hadn't thought of the gun misfiring! i just assumed that duke's gun was a small caliber and firing through the (probably very thick and fancy) glass took most of its oomph before it got to helen. having the gun straight-up misfire would be more realistic.

However I think the character is another unspoken clue about Myles. The late night faxes sent out with half baked ideas eventually turning into blockchain apps for toddlers? Totally a stoner spouting off random ideas and Myles scribbling them down.
...and what's lovely about his role here is that he continually walks through scenes saying "ignore me" and everyone becomes more and more suspicious every time he shows up. He winds up being the only character in the movie that is telling the straight-up truth to us the whole time.
Re: your question about the fascination with the Mona Lisa - there's actually a REALLY cool thing that happens when you view the painting in person. Because of the way the brushstrokes around her eyes and mouth are faintly layered and colored, her expression seems to change depending on whether you're looking at her straight-on versus looking at her through your peripheral vision. It's a really uncanny effect that genuinely makes it seem like the painting is alive and watching you!
But at this point it is, as they say, famous for being famous. Its pretty small, painted on a wooden panel that is actively decaying (it's currently very strictly climate controlled, but it has 500 year of continual exposure to the elements. It is a beautiful painting done by a great master, but apart of me kind of loved watching it burn here.

The Mona Lisa was not a very popular painting when it was first put in museums- until it was famously stolen (and later recovered)!! Fascination was sparked by an infamous heist story!
Also, Miles mispronounces her name - he says Gillian with a soft G instead of the hard G she uses. They really wanted Miles to show himself to be an idiot as often as possible.

the name of the movie comes from the beatles song "glass onion". the director chose the song because it had the word glass in it, but it's quite fitting as it's about people looking for clues and hidden meanings in the band's songs. the song plays during the credits. you have to watch the bond films! at least daniel craig's.
For anyone wondering about Kate Hudson's swimsuit, it's from Andrea Iyama. It's a $230 set. So ransom but I wanted to buy the swimsuit a month ago and now I'm recognizing it in a movie!

Ohh, please please react to Murder by Death, that is my favourite movie together with Clue! I can't count how many times I've watched it. Please, I'm so looking forward to your reaction! :)
You should check out _The Last of Sheila,_ a 1970s movie written by Anthony Perkins and Stephen Sondheim, inspired by treasure hunt parties they used to host but with added murder. Her hat is a visor. Generally, they're to keep the sun or bright lights out of your eyes. Words I never thought I'd hear in this order: "Just Janelle Monáe."
Derol, the hippie dude is Noah Segan. He is in every Rian Johnson movie. Joeseph Gordon-Levitt is also in all his movies. He was the voice of the hourly dong. If you want another great whodunit from Rian Johnson, watch Brick. Modern day noir. very stylized.
Great reaction Nick if you're going to watch the Daniel Craig james bond films two words Casino Royale. I had an awakening when I saw a scene of him shirtless in that film when I was fourteen. Also back to glass onion I really love these films and I can't wait for the third one. My favourite line in this film is the line Birdy - Kate Hudson's character says when she sees Andy aka her sister alive she shouts: 'What is reality!?' I laughed for hours after that line Great reaction and all the best 👍😊
On the topic of Gillian Fynn, how about a reaction to Gone Girl? If you have not seen that yet, thanks for the reaction, Nick. Plus, if you go back into the movies, you will see the moment when Duke takes the drink from Edward Norton before he dies. I love those little details.
The iPad thing is form Rian Johnson accidentally revealing that Apple won’t let the villains use their products, hence all the devices seen (apart from Blanc’s) being not Apple.
Someone else said that the random guy might be a reminder for the Virus, because he holds a certain beer brand in his hands in almost all his scenes. Since everyone was vaxxed at the beginning of the movie.
Fun fact, this movie came out about a month after Elon Musk bought Twitter and started showing the world that he wasn't a tech genius like people thought, but rather an idiot. They couldn't have planned that, but it hasn't gone unnoticed. When Blanc says "I've learned that an anonymous invitation is not to be trifled with," I'm thinking he was referring to the anonymous hiring he received in Knives Out. Actually, this is a pretty good representation of a James Bond movie, except with Helen as Bond. Our hero(ine) sneaks onto a billionaire's island, discovers their evil plot to destroy the world, then foils it by blowing the whole place up. That's how most James Bond movies go. You might also enjoy some of the early ones, starring a young Sean Connery.
I had this deconstructed wind up music player, the kind in a music box. I swear the tune it played sounded almost exactly like the Candyman tune! I wish I still had it. I got it at a garage sale when I was around 10

You definitely should watch the Bond movies, theyre fantastic.. not a lot of action in the first movie though, it focuses more on atmosphere in the first one
If you want an underrated CAMP whodunnit, seek out 1973's "The Last of Sheila". It is a trip and has a similar vibe of beautiful rich people getting bumped off in exotic European locations.

Ngl I swear there's something going on with Claire and Lionel, even if its not ever addressed throughout the movie. There's just something about the way they act around each other thats telling a whole story of its own.
My impression was that they just get along much better with each other than everybody else, because, well, they seem to have more than one working brain cell, what with him being a scientist and her a politician.
So I technically didn't meet him, but I was 5ft from Daniel Craig once when he was at the bar I worked in back then. My boss let him go upstairs where it was private, and the staff took a photo without me! 😭 If they did a 4th movie I wish they'd cast Jake Gyllenhaal. He'd be so good in this franchise!
Hugh Grant has been confirmed as Blanc's husband, who's name is Phillip. Awesome reaction.

you have to watch the bond films! at least daniel craig's.
wonderful edit Nick!
For anyone wondering about Kate Hudson's swimsuit, it's from Andrea Iyama. It's a $230 set.
So ransom but I wanted to buy the swimsuit a month ago and now I'm recognizing it in a movie!
a hug isn't the only thing id do to Dave Bautista
(bites lip yearningly)
i fcking love this movie!
I agree about Dave Batista too. He seems like such a sweet guy, and always is advocating for adopting shelter pets and shows his rescues all the time.
I also always love his characters in whatever he’s in. Him and John Cena really are actors when it comes to WWE to Film.
In one of his interviews, he said something akin to, "I want to be an actor, but the problem is I'm built like a gorilla."
@@Crazyivan777 and honestly he’s been killing it despite that. Cause Knock at the Cabin. Despite it having the usual M Night flaws. Dave was great in it. And I feel he’s been top notch in almost everything he’s in that I can think of.
Gillian Flynn is the author of the books Gone Girl and Sharp Objects, which were adapted to film and a TV show.
Jessica Henwick, who plays Birdie's assistant, was one of the Sand Snake sisters in Game of Thrones and the Netflix Marvel show Iron Fist. I'm not sure if you've seen any of those, but those are the only things I know are from
Thank you out for letting me know!!
I really liked Sharp objects
Ohh, please please react to Murder by Death, that is my favourite movie together with Clue! I can't count how many times I've watched it. Please, I'm so looking forward to your reaction! :)
yes please watch casino royale(bond movie)
Daniel Craig getting tortured by hannibal (mads mikkelsen)
and the bond girl is eva green 😘
Your reactions are always great, loved this!
And of course Sondheim cameoed in this film during the Among Us game
I love Last of Sheila! Hoping he watches it
@@b3z3jm3nny Yes, thank you! And I forgot to say that Rian Johnson took inspiration from _The Last of Sheila_ (I almost typed _The Last of Us.)_
@@TequilaMockingbird88 I hope so!
27:35 this could have done with a Randy Meeks from Scream clip cause "EVERYONE'S A SUSPECT!"
I fought the urge to add that too 😂
@@nicksaysboo17 but why?
You should absolutely watch the Daniel Craig Bond movies, I think you would have a lot of fun with them
A tv show that’s this meets only murders is called Death and Other Details highly recommended
16:06 DARCY! ITS ARRRT!
Oh I love fun trivia like that!
Please never stop using the Kylie George “Hey! 👋🏼” clip. It kills me every time
omg i suggested murder by death when u watched clue im so happy youre gonna watch it you’ll love it
Uncle George screaming 😂
Great reaction Nick if you're going to watch the Daniel Craig james bond films two words Casino Royale. I had an awakening when I saw a scene of him shirtless in that film when I was fourteen. Also back to glass onion I really love these films and I can't wait for the third one. My favourite line in this film is the line Birdy - Kate Hudson's character says when she sees Andy aka her sister alive she shouts: 'What is reality!?' I laughed for hours after that line Great reaction and all the best 👍😊
I believe fax machines have a serial number so they can track it that way through purchasing but cash is ideal if you need a new one 😅
On the topic of Gillian Fynn, how about a reaction to Gone Girl? If you have not seen that yet, thanks for the reaction, Nick. Plus, if you go back into the movies, you will see the moment when Duke takes the drink from Edward Norton before he dies. I love those little details.
I have seen Gone Girl!
The iPad thing is form Rian Johnson accidentally revealing that Apple won’t let the villains use their products, hence all the devices seen (apart from Blanc’s) being not Apple.
Yaaaaaay it's here!!!
You should definitely watch at least Casino Royale of all the Daniel Craig Bond movies.
“AWWWWWWWWWWWWW, what is reality?” got me everytime 😂
David’s gonna be so mad you didn’t catch THEE jessica fletcher cameo
I love this movie and knives out❤❤❤stacked cast ❤amazing ❤❤I love that you said Snoopers Gonna Snoop cause he gave you love on his Abigail video ❤
Try Brick, Rian Johnson's first detective movie, with Joseph Gordon Levitt. It's a dark neo-noir set in high school.
Well...well..well it took you long enough 😂❤🎉
Someone else said that the random guy might be a reminder for the Virus, because he holds a certain beer brand in his hands in almost all his scenes. Since everyone was vaxxed at the beginning of the movie.
Oh that’s an interesting thought! I’ll have to look a bit more into it.
26:49 🤣🤣🤣 if you do…I don’t know if you can make it through all the films…Daniel is just one FINE MAN!!!
I had this deconstructed wind up music player, the kind in a music box. I swear the tune it played sounded almost exactly like the Candyman tune! I wish I still had it. I got it at a garage sale when I was around 10
Omg you brought up the fact that guy is like the Cheese Man from Buffy! I thought the same thing!!!
Love this reaction ❤❤❤
NICK! Please do a reaction to “Death Trap” from 1982! TALK ABOUT A MURDER MYSTERY GAG!!!! You will love it!
Oh happy day! New video from you and zzavid, shit it’s like Christmas in July
What did Zzavid post? I don't see it
@@helpmeImpoor5314 it’s on zzavid’s patron, he watched the movie the blackening
As a pharmacy technician, yes we do still rely on fax machines. It's weird.
i clocked that Edward Norton was the killer from the trailer of the movie
Love this movie wnd cast just as much as the first one, can't wait for the 3rd❤❤❤
I LOVE Knives Out and Glass Onion was a good time. I cannot wait for the next one: Kerry Washington, Glenn Close, Jeremy Renner, Andrew Scott, Josh Brolin, etc. etc. I am so excited. Also, Nick...did you see the Agatha All Along trailer?! I'm so ready for it!
Jeremy Renner better mention the hot sauce.
I have, yes, and I’m so excited!
“sb help his big ass” 😭😭😭
You definitely should watch the Bond movies, theyre fantastic.. not a lot of action in the first movie though, it focuses more on atmosphere in the first one
If you want an underrated CAMP whodunnit, seek out 1973's "The Last of Sheila". It is a trip and has a similar vibe of beautiful rich people getting bumped off in exotic European locations.
Dream House is a thriller. It has Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz in it.
You definitely need to watch the Craig Bond films…. My favorite Bond! Casino Royale is one of my all time faves.❤
11:41 there was a tie in with Among Us where in the game you could get this outfit for your character
Great reaction. I can't wait for you to see Murder by Death!!! Gonna join the patreon for that!! 🎉🎉
Can’t wait to watch it!
@@nicksaysboo17Truman Capote is my spirit animal!
5:47 but would his island have hard kombucha?
Glass onion was my favorite vs the first movie I just had much more fun with this one!
This was a fun video and movie. If your interested in Daniel Craig, he had some nice scenes in the first Tomb Raider with Angelina Jolie.
Yes please, do the Craig run of Bond movies at least!
You should watch the original Tomb Raider if you wanna see more of Daniel Craig’s disgustingly beautiful eyes 😂 also bc it’s just a fun ass movie LOL
I MUST SEEK THIS OUT
@@nicksaysboo17 if you haven’t seen it already, I’d love to see your reaction 😂 it’s a fun 2000s movie where nothing has to make sense, everything’s just a good time 👏🏼
What about a good old Bourne run? No one has reviewed it much on UA-cam! And I love it lol and old classic 😅 you'll be mad to see when the first one came out
Ngl I swear there's something going on with Claire and Lionel, even if its not ever addressed throughout the movie.
If they did a 4th movie I wish they'd cast Jake Gyllenhaal. He'd be so good in this franchise!
I would have COLLAPSED
You gave to watch the Bond movies🤤❤
