We've certainly had 9 years as Jade points out of their antics when it comes to releasing things half baked. Once is a mistake. Twice is a coincidence. Three times is a choice. Umpteenth time is just standard operating procedure and just a patronizing attitude towards players.
I wish they would stop 'fixing' this game, every time they do everything else gets broken. 😭.
Before Ab launch, playing on ps5 it was running beautifully, no lag, no crashes, no rendering issues, no bs, mods installed etc. Now after this update we cannot play at all due to rendering issues and horrendous lag across all maps.
So glad I ain't only one. The ground keeps randomly rendering on me. Hope it gets fixed.
None of these were fixed for Xbox and PlayStation the game still runs like dookie and scorched ran better than this
In Pc it is still bad too.

Hopefully they fix the ground textures bugging out, my fps drops to 5 for a few secs before all my ambient ground foliage disappears

I wish they would fix the character downloads I’d like to progress with my character throughout the maps but I can let alone ascend without my progress being wiped.
After the first patch after ab came out for ps5 i can't even stay on the maps because of server hitches on single player from a spacedolphin somehow even though they shouldn't exist its happened on multiple maps and i cant even get on ab because it crashes trying to even get on that map
They are going to butcher the shit out of Ragnarok

We will be lucky to get ARK Extinction map in December of 2024. However honestly we will definitely get a delay for this one, and the rest of maps.
I wholly expect we'll be into 2026 and even 2027 100% intentionally. Kiting is the only consistent thing they do and have done for 9 years running now. People just need to stop enabling their antics with this and more.
Bobs tall tales would have been fine as just a cosmetic pack to shake up the games appearance. Like being a cowboy with a saloon and poker table on scorched or being a steam punk engineer with a generator reskin as a steam engine on abb. Things that don't give an advantage but allow you to just change how things look.
Just deleted ark its time to play something else and move on i think. 700 hours in i definitely got my moneys worth. However i wont be funding anything wildcard related for here on in.
Personally im waiting till at least gen 1 is released before actually bothering to purchase this game since i knew this game would be riddled with bugs and delays.
The lighting bug you mentioned at the start I fixed by turning off DLSS
I think they said in the investor call or somewhere that releases of maps are to be every 3 months going forward(which means longer as what ever they say should be kited and delayed as normal). Just no point to enable them anymore on these things and there are as you say plenty of other games out there that do not pull these monetization stunts or other shenanigans that certainly deserve to be covered vs Ark.
Here’s an interesting question. Seeing as we got the gigantoraptor with the island and it’s now integrated into the base game, what will be the new creature with ragnarok, if there will be one at all.
If the stuff with the Cosmo and the Airship proved anything it's that even the shit they make that's blatantly pay to win is completely broken and unfinished on launch.
At this rate just re-release everything again as quickly as possible and let the modding community keep your game alive like usual.

you can make your dinos more op using traits
you can combine blueprints to give you more
a no flyer map now as a flying base you can build
the turret they added has more damage options then reg turrets
you can steal baby embryos and take pets at your safe base completely now instead of stealing babies
teh steam punk crafting benchs all speed up refining
you can set a respawn point with all your gear using teh new handwatch
you can boost production with clocktower
you cosmo pet is a bola and a grapple in one
that enough pay to win for you?

I will say the tinkering desk WAS PTW. But after they nerfed it, it’s basically trash at this point.
Because now you are likely to not get a bp you want or intend to obtain with no chance at all of getting an overpowered bp.
My tribe and I tinkered with it before the patch. And we were getting overcap flak armor bp’s and weapon bp’s.
Will this fix the atrocious darkness and glitchy textures on series s when it hits xbox?
I don’t mind having extinction delayed until December even delay it till January I honestly would rather them let us test extinction. We can’t just have a horrible launch like we have been experiencing in Aberration.

@jade pg I play in Xbox Series X and the Gen Traits Gun dont works I cant extract the Gens from My news Tames with Traits, my questions is if in you have the same Issue in your Xbox, you can extract the Traitw or you have the same Issue?
There is another game for which I buy season pass for that you don't entirely know what is in it and that is Farming Simulator (Don't Judge lol). I've bought the latest FS25 with the year 1 Season pass with which you only get told the first DLC. Though you roughly know what's going to come you don't actually know until Giants starts to drop the teasers before each release. So my point is its kind of harsh to say that WCs season pass is the only one where you buy and don't know what's in it.
I actually love all the complaining. It warms my heart. Pyromanes, pay to win items from Bob's Tall Tales. I figure it is karma from all the PVP players complaining about everything from ASE and ASA. And the beautiful thing is because it's paid content, it won't change. I know it's snarky, but I like it.

Just imagine the carnage when they change the whole game engine!! I'm on ps5 and just to play without crashing and all the other bugs. Sony should do what they did with cyberpunk and take it down til its fixed
Ragnarock is coming in December , Extinction isn't coming until March 2025

They updated the roadmap and switched all that. Is says extinction Dec 2024 now
It's a map every 3 months now so Weather they switch rag with extinction it's doesn't matter we're not getting 2 maps by December

Nothing fixed on PS5
Can't play Abberton until fixes are done on ps5. There is a problem with the terrain textures reload. It also doesn't load the grass in as well.
If Ark Ascended was FREE, then pay to win would be more acceptable. I hear a lot of UA-camrs defending Wildcard. Stating that they need to make money to fund the company but they are charging for the game and Bob's tall tale.

They take time to fix the bugs and improve performance "updates are taking to long".
They release things early before QA testing to please players "ugh this is a buggy mess!"
but they dont fix bugs? there is still teh ascension bu or server transfer bug losing all ya characters, its been in ark 8 years? just go and look at patch notes for no mans sky, rust or even dayz with their regular updates and see teh difference in actual qol and bare minium

We turned pyromanes off on our server. It’s dumb as hell. Also the rockdrake controls for flying are all fcked up and don’t work. Also a dodo can pin you to the ground so you can jump lol 🤦♂️
Extinction isn't even the next map, and the entire game doesn't work right now; no change Extinction is out by the end of the year. Rag maybe, MAYBE.

I (ON PS5) will crash for trying to color my armor, and my SIR 5RM8 will NOT harvest. I’ve looked at ALL the video on UA-cam and Reddit is not help.
Game now runs at 4k with all settings at epic , i have a 4070 and a 13th gen i5 , stop crying in the comment section.

@@JadePG2 Okay, if there is a way I can prove it to you I will, 60 fps btw sometimes dropping to 50 , I honestly thought it was too good to be true at first cos the game ran like dogshit on the island and se, even now I think they are somehow giving me false readings 😅 I even turned back up foliage limits.

when u logg in and your builds are half gone on ps5 and there crashes all day not updated no fixs like who going fix my 6 month build on island that half way gone wood walls floors ect
Sunday evening ps5 running like garbage, lost all my stuff from cryo ball mod and anything mod related, lost all my sutff in storage, been a rough day for ark on playstaion.

You should care, because the complacency from people like you only serves to enable wildcard to make the situation worse in the future. The pyromane has no place on aberrstion or scorched earth besides wildcard wanting to shove it in your face in hopes of getting people to buy it. The ability to simply turn off dlc. Creatures from the menu in single player would suffice for me.

Only reason Pyro is on Ab is because PVP players bought it and there is no transfers right now. Thus WC had to cater to them and place it on the map just so whiney pvp players can tame it.
@@michaelhartzell3392 why do you get to call a PVP player "whiney". I play official PvE now, I played 11khrs on PvP.
Balance is important on PvP for the game to work, so complaining about broken stuff isn't being "whiney" !
If anything,pvp players are complaining the most about the pyro being on Ab.
Post-Patch Ark on Playstation 5 is still unplayable. It's really bad.

Pyros for me actually makes more sence in ab then center for me since the surface its all scorched and burning during the day and they need to come underground to hunt and get food and also to hide from reapers wen they encounter them.
That's cool, they are still a paid dino though. And as such you should have the option to disable them if you don't own the creature. At least on single player.

I sat in join sim for 28hrs to get on server, they finally dropped more OC servers and i finally got in.... Got the dark bug and had to run to my spot with about 10% vision 😂 got some apam down and crashed 🫠🫠🫠 couldn't get back in for another 6hrs
Super fun weekend really 😂
