Good video. We had a Spyder RT and now a Ryker 600. You are spot on that the Ryker accelerates faster but the Spyder has a higher top end. The Spyder is more comfortable especially 2up. The Spyder looks better in my opinion. We got 32 mpg on the Spyder, 39 on the Ryker. The Spyder handles like a big SUV, the Ryker like an agile sports car which is more fun. Different strokes for different folks. No right or wrong.
Appreciate ya showing love this GMT tha green Spyder is mine and the Blue one is my Bro Bro Solo Tee he passed in an bike accident later that evening thanks again for all the love u showing 💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿
I've had my Ryker 600 for 2 years known I would get a f3 at some point. I brought my Spyder f3t last month and it is definitely a different beast but I'm glad I brought the Ryker first because it got me use to the feel of a 3 wheeler.
I really do want an F3 but I do love my Ryker 600. I ride it to work whenever their is no rain and just love it. I want to ride the F3 to see how it rides.
I've done alot of research and aside from your available budget, the next most important question is what are you going to do with it? If you just want something to run around town on the weekends, you can get away with a 600 ryker. In my situation I drive an hour to work so I'm looking around for an F3, as they're well suited for distance riding right out the box with very little mods.
That's an excellent analogy... I don't drive an hour to work but living in Vegas I drive two cities away to work and don't plan on using my bike as a mode of transportation back and forth to work but rather for fun zipping around the town on weekends and certain days during riding season. C8 thinks I'm getting a Spyder but it's definitely going to be a Ryker lol
I drive 30mins to work everyday. I've been debating which way to go also, but I think I'm going with the Ryker. Because we're talking top of the line (Rally) vs bottom of the line (F3). The Ryjer has more customization to it. Also, you're getting more out of the box. I feel like the Ryker put the F3 in a weird situation. It was the top of the line of the performance side of the Spyder, now it's just the bare bones entry level of it. The Ryker is the sport bike side of the Can-ams amd the Spyder is the road touring Harley side. Really when you get down to it, the Spyder is twice what the Ryker is. The Ryker 600 is $9k, and the 900 is about $11k. You start putting options on the Spyder and you're going way over $20k. The top of the line RT Sea to Sky is over $30k.
@@neogod29 You're right the ryker definitely scores points when it comes to easy customization and maintenance. I've even seen some dealers are willing to powder coat the 22 Rally for you. Although I still feel the F3 is the one for me. But whenever you do get it and your in the South Florida area hit me up and I'll ride wit ya.
@@shadowstringz2115 I know that F3 gotta be more comfortable to ride, but a sway bar, steering stabilizer and better seats should solve that problem, plus there's a turbo kit for the Ryker. Not sure if I'll get that, but knowing that there's one available for purchase is cool.
On the new F3 S it has 160mph on the dash. The fastest I've been on my Spyder is 95mph. The spyders have a more comfortable ride BUT!!!! When I was shopping I really like the Ryker!!! Also, you sit on top of the Spyder but not in it like the Ryker. When I can, I'm getting a Ryker!!!
@@arnisbole7821 have you been on a Spyder? Also, they are a different ride. The reason why I got the Spyder is for longer trips but that Ryker is the one though!
Me personally, I think the Spyder is a bit more "utility" and for purpose of transportation like a motorcycle whereas the Ryker is more for sport looking cool af and just having fun. I don't own either yet (waiting til '23 to see what the Ryker like) but at first I was gonna get a Spyder but soon realized that I'd rather have the fully auto trans that's highly customizable and looks super cool
I like the Spyder, but, I bought the Ryker Rally. The feature that sold me on the Ryker Rally is the ability to take it off road. I like the flexibility. I also prefer the lower seat height.
My 900 ace stock when i first got it, I hit 110 mph easily. Honestly the overall quickness i think is more important, in my opinion then overall top speed..
You know I’m a Spyder guy. Although I haven’t ridden a Ryker. I have not been a fan of CVT’s but my experience with them was in cars. I sold high end luxury cars for 20 years. Most all the cars I sold had Automatic with paddle shifts on the steering wheel. The Spyders auto is really cool! You have to upshift each gear going forward, but it downshifts as you slow down. Pretty cool tranny! You/I can down shift on my/our own at any time just by blipping the downshift button! They No longer offer the Manuel transmission models any more. That’s what I thought I wanted, but I really like this auto shifter! 😉
I bought 2022 Ryker Rally. Cool bike but gave it to my wife. I plan on getting the F3 because of distance and more cc's. Don't get me wrong, the Ryker is NICE ride and good look but I need that distance and I can ride 2up easier with the Spyder.
Hi 👋 yes the spyder f3 and the f3 s spyder looks better on speed the spyder is faster and is very comfortable the spyder is semi automatic and has reverse and cruise control thank you 🙏
I'm comparing the Ryker to the Spyder F3 (The RT is completely different experience). The looks are subjective but i do think the Ryker looks better when wrapped and customized. I also love the single arm on the Ryker since you can see the third wheel. The Ryker is fun for short distances but i personally hate the CVT transmission and the lack of power steering will make it tiring for some. I love the revving of the 6 speed, power steering, cruise control, suspension, and storage of the Spyder f3. Its a much smoother ride and more of an all purpose motorcycle. The Ryker will become more uncomfortable for long distances. I do like that the Ryker is easier to perform maintenance on. On the spyder theres more screws, panels, etc to take off. The F3-S has 115hp but there speed and take off are very similar in my opinion. However, the ryker has CVT which feels like you're in 1 screaming gear then entire time. The Spyder you can rip up and down through the gears which is much more fun and sounds incredible in my opinion. Also, riding with a passenger is much more comfortable on a Spyder than a Ryker.
I picked up a new Ryker 900 last year and after a year of owning it, I've considered trading it in for a Spyder. Not sure if I will, but I'm definitely looking into it.
I love my Spyder F3. It's more sturdy. I feel safer on the expressway. Switching Gears isn't difficult. The handlebars are different on the Spyder RT which is also a completely different ride. It's just a personal preference.
I'm torn between the two. My wife has reserved a Ryker sport because she's 4'10". The Ryker fits me fine but I was concerned about comfort for long rides. I'm 6'4" and 208 pounds. I've heard you can aftermarket the ryker to suit long rides but that spyder just feels like it will feel better driving cross country. Appreciate this video 👊
I just wanted this type of bike, but the Ryker was 12 grand, and the spider was 25 grand, so it was all about the price , but I must say with the few mods I’ve added, I think my Ryker is pretty sharp, and let me tell you, in sport mode is way more power than I would ever need, 1st time scared the shit out of me, so for the money the Ryker has my vote
Where are yall getting your rims from is my question? Want to get a F3s but I heard it's a little difficult to find lightweight aftermarket wheels that bolt up easily
I feel both are overly priced and parts are ridiculously over priced and they should have spent years in the lab before they released both to the public too much goes wrong with them and they are cheaply built and the shops that sale them have no clue, aka experience or clue how to repair them they mostly are shipped with problems new and its a red tape / run around you have to go through dealing with theses machines it's a waste of money at least it was for me I have the 2021 rally edition and it sits in the garage should have got a slingshot and stayed away from Can-AM looks good but they don't last long without alot of annoying problems it makes no sense its like owning a prototype along with everyone that owns one the should pay the ryker community public for all the work they put in to solve problems dealing with theses rolling junk piles lol you live u learn but I wouldn't recommend either to any hard working human being.
I believe people buy what's comfortable for them no matter the cost.im y'all do I have to have something comfortable for me
