@Shanepwnsn00bs Typical music snobbery. I've also known them since they were a small time band and there's no way they're overrated now. They just keep improving their music and keep getting bigger for a reason.

@davidpeder2 maybe compared to metallica they aren't. but they're pretty well known highly acclaimed in the metal scene. so i could see why someone would think they're overrated if they don't like them.

Reminds me a lot of Machine Head's cover of Hallowed Be Thy Name. But this cover could have been a lot better at the beginning through to 3:30 or so

@QuincyD17 LOL Cliff didn't even play on this album. He had already died and Jason Newsted took over bass. If you're gonna get all butthurt and act like a mega Metallica fan, you should know some obvious facts.

Pretty good cover but the drums are a bit much. His playing feels a bit out of place sometimes. And the singing lacks that grit that I feel the chorus really needs. It's an angry song and I just don't feel that anger with these vocals.
I absolutely heard the anger in these vocals. It was way more intense than the original.
This guy is a great drummer, but it just felt like too much in this song. Should've toned it down a bit.

TCH hipster. I never heard of the band till just now, they arnt fuckin huge otherwise lots of my friends would of already known about them. If you think this is huge and overrated then I hate to see what you would say how big Marilyn Manson or Asking Alexandria is...
@QuincyD17 Or maybe your just spinning in your chair whining about something that's your opinion which also happens to be shared by many others who say they're metallica fans. Point in case if you were a true fan you would welcome covers regardless of the quality of which it turns out to be.

Covering a song is one thing. Writing the song is a whole different story. Great cover, but you gotta respect the original artist, even if the cover is technically more correct or better, they still didn't write the song.

10 years later and the singer has grown to be one of the best metal vocalists of all time.
