So here's the thing. I'm technically not a fan of Seventeen (I said technically because in practice EVERYONE's a Seventeen fan) and I've liked a lot of kpop male groups who are awesome at dancing (NCT, Got7, BTS, Pentagon, Exo, SPEED, Blanc7, Stray Kids and SF9 to name a few). I'd like to call myself an experienced fan with how many groups I've followed in my lifetime, and these days I'm like 100% loyal and unwavering Monbebe so it isn't like I could call myself biased. So I want to emphasize that when I say THERE IS NO KPOP GROUP WHO IS AS GOOD AS DANCING AS SEVENTEEN IS. There isn't. Point blank. Period. There is no denying it, no one is like this group when it comes to dancing skills, synchronization and energetic, impossibly hard choreographs. We've gotta face the facts. They should win all the prizes and awards that are ever given to dancers, and that's just how it should go. Hands down.
i mean you're not wrong. but, no matter how many people recognizes seventeen's dancing, even when a computer analysis says seventeen is the most synchronized group and they're nominated for an award for it, sadly, as long as there are other groups way more popular than them nominated for those dancing awards, seventeen won't win it. they have actually few years ago they had a 2 year streak of winning but of course it was broken and people said they don't see why they won the best dancing male group. carats even other fandoms, know that seventeen deserves it, and to carats they are the real winners anyways. at the end of the day, awards just equals to popularity.
Seventeen's choreographies always makes me so amazed. Their choreographies aren't always technically difficult. But their choreo always is one of the kind. Their songs gives off vibes, which the choreo itself represent those vibes in it's own unique way. What mindblowns me more is how the members themselves choreographed it. Just how much creativity does these kids have?
Every time I watch this I just always notice in the beginning how invested In his phone Vernon is, and how right after their done he immediately goes back to his phone 😂

Yes. Especially people who think they know everything when they hear the fact that government totally support and help in the growing of the kpop genre, and that companies make the idols train like dolls. After knowing this, they think that it's all industrial and idols are just puppets, they totally forget the fact that idols are still humans, with feelings, common sense, that feel sad, happy, depressed, tired through the life of a kpop idol. Yes when you look from above, all you see is the government trying to become even richer (which is good for the country tbh), but at the bottom, the "products" (I hate this word), the idols really do what they do because they like it, and they give their all to it.
Sometimes I feel that knowing about SEVENTEEN is the best thing ever happened. Living in same time as them and watch them sing, dance, joke around, laugh, cry, win, lose, play, act, be chaotic, prank each other and be the one and only UNIQUE BAND is something I feel happy and thankful for

So here's the thing. I'm technically not a fan of Seventeen (I said technically because in practice EVERYONE's a Seventeen fan) and I've liked a lot of kpop male groups who are awesome at dancing (NCT, Got7, BTS, Pentagon, Exo, SPEED, Blanc7, Stray Kids and SF9 to name a few). I'd like to call myself an experienced fan with how many groups I've followed in my lifetime, and these days I'm like 100% loyal and unwavering Monbebe so it isn't like I could call myself biased. So I want to emphasize that when I say THERE IS NO KPOP GROUP WHO IS AS GOOD AS DANCING AS SEVENTEEN IS. There isn't. Point blank. Period. There is no denying it, no one is like this group when it comes to dancing skills, synchronization and energetic, impossibly hard choreographs. We've gotta face the facts. They should win all the prizes and awards that are ever given to dancers, and that's just how it should go. Hands down.

i mean you're not wrong. but, no matter how many people recognizes seventeen's dancing, even when a computer analysis says seventeen is the most synchronized group and they're nominated for an award for it, sadly, as long as there are other groups way more popular than them nominated for those dancing awards, seventeen won't win it. they have actually few years ago they had a 2 year streak of winning but of course it was broken and people said they don't see why they won the best dancing male group. carats even other fandoms, know that seventeen deserves it, and to carats they are the real winners anyways. at the end of the day, awards just equals to popularity.
Hoshi is the best choreographer I swear.

Seventeen's choreographies always makes me so amazed. Their choreographies aren't always technically difficult. But their choreo always is one of the kind. Their songs gives off vibes, which the choreo itself represent those vibes in it's own unique way. What mindblowns me more is how the members themselves choreographed it. Just how much creativity does these kids have?
Every time I watch this I just always notice in the beginning how invested In his phone Vernon is, and how right after their done he immediately goes back to his phone 😂

Yes. Especially people who think they know everything when they hear the fact that government totally support and help in the growing of the kpop genre, and that companies make the idols train like dolls. After knowing this, they think that it's all industrial and idols are just puppets, they totally forget the fact that idols are still humans, with feelings, common sense, that feel sad, happy, depressed, tired through the life of a kpop idol. Yes when you look from above, all you see is the government trying to become even richer (which is good for the country tbh), but at the bottom, the "products" (I hate this word), the idols really do what they do because they like it, and they give their all to it.

YES! Did you know that Hoshi is a big fanboy of SHINee? Back in the day, Seventeen looked up to SHINee when they debuted, and seeing now rookie groups looking up to SVT makes me emotional. They are now inspiring other groups and artists just like SHINee did :)
