Going back to watching Raw and WWF shows between late 96 and 97 makes me love just how much vince was willing to try anything and everything even if he didn't like it to see if it would work. I'd say it's all down to Vince getting complacent but a lot has to be down to the fact that so much probably isn't allowed on TV anymore and all the investors probably have some kind of guidelines as to what they will and wont accept. Creative freedom not just in wrestling but in tv as a whole is getting suffocated.

When you think wrestling stables. Think Cox....
I absolutely love your content! So well researched and presented in an entertaining way.
I think WWF 1997 in and of itself would be a really interesting case study. If you watch a show from the beginning of that year, it’s unrecognizable as compared to a show from Dec ‘97. So much changed from both a presentation & talent perspective
Awww man this is dope subject for a video. Great work bro
Another great video that takes me back to my childhood.
“Not only were we, the shady trouble makers, definitely not the guys who wrecked your locker room, because that was totally the do goodies who aren’t known to partake in such shenanigans, but we totally also definitely heard those do-gooders totally definitely say the n-word while they were doing it, totally for sure!” - Classic late 90’s WWF writing 😂😂😂
Another excellent remix. Intro had me movin.
I wouldn't really call D Generation X a stable until the Raw after WrestleMania 14
I loved this angle back in 97!
every video u do is great brother, but this was a brilliant topic and very well done! huge fan of ur work keep it up! i look 4ward to every upload
Another great review by WB!! I always share your videos on my Facebook page, as many of us are HUGE wrestling fans - especially since one of them hasn't watched wrestling or WWE since 1995. Your videos make a great recap of much of the things he's missed since then - so a big THANK YOU from me on that one.
PS: That opening and closing theme is absolutely amazing - did you mix it yourself?
NOD + Martika (1988)! Good job!
Great content brother.. always a joy
Undertaker ministry of darkness was the scariest combination of wrestlers
"Raw ended with a brawl between the Headbangers, the Godwins and the Truth Commission". I'm gonna take a shot in the dark, and guess that Nitro wins this week on Reliving the War.
However it did paved the way the Attitude Era
NOD Toy Soldiers remix went unecessarily hard
I have memories of an episode of Raw, watching it in my friends house inwhich, somebody in the audience seemed to be defiantly and proudly holding a sign over his head that read "Kurgan is my Father". I cant remember when it was exactly, other than I laughed and laughed at it! I loved this video. Brilliantly looking back at a somewhat forgotten series of events and fueds. I enjoyed the Gang Wars at the time, and so much good stuff came from it, be it the Rocks ascent, or anything really to do with Hart Foundation and DX. All that stuff was Gold!
Intro is fire. Love it.
My childhood! This was the time I was so glued to WWF and imitated their moves at home and in school.
How do you not love the opening theme to this video?
Excellent video, thanks!
Great Video!!!!! Thank You Great work !!!!!
Whoever gave this a thumbs down is crazy. Great video
Man, so DOA were the OG Aces and Eights?😂😂😂
This is what I am asking for. Glad to see it thank you. The gang wars was by far my favorite time of the wwf
"found him picking jalapeno peppers"
Farooq
This was mind blowing 🤯
Toy Soldiers is the perfect theme for this feud, bravo once again for gang wars
Going back to watching Raw and WWF shows between late 96 and 97 makes me love just how much vince was willing to try anything and everything even if he didn't like it to see if it would work. I'd say it's all down to Vince getting complacent but a lot has to be down to the fact that so much probably isn't allowed on TV anymore and all the investors probably have some kind of guidelines as to what they will and wont accept. Creative freedom not just in wrestling but in tv as a whole is getting suffocated.
Totally agree.
Great work as always.
How about a Nation vs DX ‘98 vid?
I’m watching the Monday wars head to head and I’m at August 25 and dude seeing the formation of the Bóricas and the DOA is classic lmao
