Starling says all damage YOU take is also influcted on your opponent, but because of Nightingale you take 0 damage, so why doesn't your opponent take 0 damage??? If you take no damge from "Ring of destruction" then neither does your opponent... Why is Starling different?
Simultaneous vs. Sequential. Ring specifically got nerfed so you have to take damage first before your opponent can in order to cut off a bunch of forced draws(and surprise game closures) that kept happening back in the day.
Hmm i guess IDP is the best staple agianst this deck? it steals from the grave, which they always dump into, also they banish their boss monsters. Also on paper Madolche has a decent match up, because they have a grave shuffle , a non target shuffle back into the deck and a card which makes monsters unaffected by other monster effects. Sadly we don't have all madoclhe cards, which makes setting up Tiramisu for the shuffle pretty inconsistent, also it still doesn't help that they can attack for game ignoring the field. Other things that could work is summoning dingirsu on their turn, but well they can just pop the field spell ... And if you are going second it is hard to establish a board... So i guess the only thing left is Lava golem, rainbow life, trickstar burn XD, or well.

cause nightgale is her ace. if you look back they barely limit aces. and robin is a broken card if that wasnt limited we would be in a whoooole diffrent situation and it would ve tier 0 its not tier 0 cause it has counters unlike tachyon who had none
Actually thingking about it, Ra could be also really good against it, because of the card that hinders special summoning monsters from attacking the turn they are summoned. Also Ra banish is non target, if i remeber correctly...
At most, Assembled Nightingale only does around 600 damage per hit when XYZ summoned with the maximum amount of materials in Duel Links (3) though. In master duel, you can use around 5 materials instead for an OTK.
Playing against a Lyrilusc deck is basically playing against an infinite Swords of Revealing Light deck as long as they have materials to discard while the Assembled Nightingale is standing there menacingly on the field.
Kinda funny how they released the 9th ED slot but made it so this deck (with this specific skill) cant actually use it. But I guess we might get a second assembled with lvl cap increase if not independant with the rerun
@Madway imo you should be fine. The TCG version of Lyrilusc didn't have a skill and performed incredibly well despite having no tri-brigade.(it just got much better). If possible though, I would try for a 3rd copy of canary nonetheless
I knew Lyrilusc would be a problem to deal with and would be at least a tier 1 deck or higher but the fact that you need book of eclipse to even have a chance to beat them would mean that eventually they need to be nerfed.
IDP is a great counter, as it gets rid of both an untargetable Robin/Nightingale and a Wagtail/Sparrow on the GY. They also don't have an out for Nibiru, and more generic handtraps like Veiler, Crow and Droll can really put the deck into a corner if played on the right spot.
i had a player play crystal wing earlier... didnt activate the effect i get nighting lut with a ton of materials i think my opponent thought they could negate the direct attack which makes 0 sence

So i guess the only thing left is Lava golem, rainbow life, trickstar burn XD, or well.
yea thats the thing people dont think about its counters are decks thats untiered. litterly trickstars can otk the opponent with 2 cards and then lyri is done for. madolche cant go first otherwise it wins
meant to say cant go seconed my bad xD
@@vickelibert5637actually we have multiple staples that can ruin their day, is just that there is no consistent way of wining against them, that's why they are really strong, but they ain't tier 0, most probably tier 1
@@Renercrows_Money_Reserved its been going around saying tier 0 everywhere that is why XD. and that its on the level off tachyon... which means tier 0
best counters to it are book of eclipse / ice prison / nibiru / lava golem / kaijus
Do you think Dogmatika and forbidden droplet would be a good counter to this thing ?
Im so glad that lyrilusc is finally released. It is my favorite deck ever and im so glad that it works so well in DL
What a great time to resolve Queen Tiramissu effect, or hop into rush lol
Suship can deal with this with lava or kaiju and can draw it most of the time. And can build a board with rank 4 toolbox
When I was demoing the deck during the event it came across like Toons if they were a level 1 Xyz spam deck.
What’s a good substitute for Forbidden Droplet?
they can be banish. karma cut, dark core, dimensional prison
If this actually becomes tier 0 we already have our counters from tachyon PTSD
IDP looks like it deals with them, and also have nibiru now so that’s another option. What I am I talking about we? I don’t play duel links anymore
4:34 i Bird Call Bullshit 😂
Gonna have to run that ritual trap. Honestly it does shut it down, run 2 of the books to disrupt or 2 ice prison
exactly heres someone who actually looks up counters round off applauds to you. you even got droppket to. theres 100s off counters to the deck. it aint tier 0 its tier 1 xD. people are just blind to the fact and just say oh its tier 0... when if you look at the tournament mentioned. it was only top 2 that was lyri and 1 other which made top 4 that was it
tachyon was top 8 all tachyon when it came out theres a huuuge diffrence
@@vickelibert5637 no one said something about tier 0, it is really strong but bullshit level of strong, is not a "free win" against everything like Tachyon was, where de only counter to that was Shiranui
Lol, my locals missed Lyrical. I literally yoinked them ALL from the trashcan and beat THAT guy.
I to this day still just use Gale and slap Equip spells on when i get salty.
I've been playing with it since I didn't have enough gems to finish my windwitch archetype and uhh.... it's so broken
Nightingale is by far the strongest boss monster to ever come to duel links, definitely deserve the cocytus treatment.
nightgale is not the issue xD. people need to learn. the issue is noone knows how to counter the deck. you only look at the tier list... have you ever thought theres other decks out there? maybe say i dont know trickstars that loves decks that summons and searches?
Really not that bad in either case since it’s able to be countered by meta tech picks and will have plenty of people building with it in mind. The thing about Nightingale specifically is she has the animation. If anything is safe it’s that one.
@@runningoncylinders3829 if you want a new deck... i put a list of untier decks somewhere here that all counters the deck XD. the most notable one is ra... why? well do you know what phoenix mode does? it doesnt target
@@vickelibert5637 I tried to look into other decks, and the only deck who can i see got a direct answer to lyrilusc without needing to hard draw the counter are the fleur decks, mainly nekroz who will find the matchup extremely easy.
The rest, pretty much auto loss without hard drawing the counters.
@@runningoncylinders3829
Droplet is by far the only clear counter who can be played by every single deck. Other than that we got idp which is also great but most of the best decks can't afford it.
Kaiju is also great but u need to follow with banishing the nightingale.
Same with book of eclipse but worst than Kaiju since it give the opponent free plus++
The new ritual who work like a hand trap is also kinda nice to counter it, but not so great in other matchup.
And let's not mention that u need to draw this cards to even have a chance, while there combo is almost guaranteed.
i found a tech card thats been mentioned during the tier list update... and when going through it... if nightingale isnt untargeteble the card actually otks the lyra player... number 69... why? well you see it will negate its effects... and im pretty sure that would negate the untargeteble effect im uncertain a bit. but then you see... it gains the effects meaning well it can attack directly xD
If they chain or have already used Nightingale's effect it Doesn't mean anything though, since they still don't take damage on top of the monsters not getting destroyed for the turn
@@wackytoast6881 that does matter... cause now lyra got a 0 atk nightingale with no effect ever... number 69s effect is PERMANENT
Nibiru, book, teto de espinhos, comporta tantos counters
Honestly droplet is probably the most staple card rn
and this stupid deck can go 3 lance. it doesnt need disruption
@@TânBìnhTravelyou do know if you discard a spell they cant respond with lance right?
@@TânBìnhTravel 1: You can discard a spell and they can't respond. 2: They're better off with MST or CC for countering mirror matches and IDP and Eclipse
So we might see poisonous winds again
This is prob the deck I've lost to the most in my yugioh days. But I started with md/tcg when this deck was peaking, so it might be why xdd
I was so confused why they limited Ensemblue Robin when Assembled Nightningale is the entire point of the deck. Idc i bought these cards when they came out in the TCG but they are SO FUN 😍
cause nightgale is her ace. if you look back they barely limit aces. and robin is a broken card if that wasnt limited we would be in a whoooole diffrent situation and it would ve tier 0 its not tier 0 cause it has counters unlike tachyon who had none
Because of One for One, which would help a lot with consistency and GY setup
@@crocky6996 they cant run 1 for 1 xD. they have a mandatory limit 1 in the deck
its the actual reason robin is limited 1 is so one for one cant be used
@@vickelibert5637 That's exactly what I said lmao
I just run that one mirror force that shuffles all attacking cards when they attack directly
Which one? Regular? Drowning? Storming?
@@matijastefanek6083drowning
@@matijastefanek6083
Its Drowning
time for birds to poop on people :D anyone living in a city with avian rats like NYC can see this deck got that energy
Actually thingking about it, Ra could be also really good against it, because of the card that hinders special summoning monsters from attacking the turn they are summoned. Also Ra banish is non target, if i remeber correctly...
heres another person showing up with strats. why in the world is people thinking tier 0 when untier decks demolishes it
@@vickelibert5637Simple, because it's the UNTIERed decks and not the tiered ones, so the previous tier players were thrown back
They can search Crow RA 😂😂😂😂
For a card that atacks directly i am surprised it does not do half damage.
At most, Assembled Nightingale only does around 600 damage per hit when XYZ summoned with the maximum amount of materials in Duel Links (3) though.
In master duel, you can use around 5 materials instead for an OTK.
Recital Starling, equip cards, and Bird Sanctuary effect
if u use any level down cards effect it wont be affected right ??? right
yea it wouldnt. level 1s cant go down levels.
On average ill have Nightingale at 3100 with 7 materials so 7 attacks
Which better lyrilusc, ogdoadyc or sky striker for now?
Striker has results, and Roze isn’t impactful now, and Lyrilusc is high potential. Ogdo is untiered, so Ogdo is a casual or pet deck.
@@runningoncylinders3829 oh that make sense..
For comeback player i need more research...there so much change all the new meta and boxes😆
After playing against Lyrilusics twice i can already confirm that no other deck has stressed me out more than this one.
Playing against a Lyrilusc deck is basically playing against an infinite Swords of Revealing Light deck as long as they have materials to discard while the Assembled Nightingale is standing there menacingly on the field.
I'm running 1 Beryl Canary and 0 bird call and I'm still winning easily. This deck is insane
I run 3 Celestine Wagtails 💀
This is just gonna be Tachyon 2.0 after this KC. It’s tier 0..there just isn’t a good enough answer outside of the hardly accessible droplet
as someone who enjoys lyrilusc as a deck i feel kinda bad? seeing it in banlist range
I have only a single choice, GEAAAARFRIIIIED
Kinda funny how they released the 9th ED slot but made it so this deck (with this specific skill) cant actually use it.
But I guess we might get a second assembled with lvl cap increase if not independant with the rerun
The stormraze xyz skill is also quite good, despite the fact you lose the foolish/rota. You can use other xyz instead
@@chariot2523 Does the stormraze version work well enough with 2x the box SR? I got 3 of the search spell but only got 2 of the SR
@Madway imo you should be fine. The TCG version of Lyrilusc didn't have a skill and performed incredibly well despite having no tri-brigade.(it just got much better). If possible though, I would try for a 3rd copy of canary nonetheless
I knew Lyrilusc would be a problem to deal with and would be at least a tier 1 deck or higher but the fact that you need book of eclipse to even have a chance to beat them would mean that eventually they need to be nerfed.
no you dont. get ice dragon prison and they cant do shit
@@crocky6996 another one is also number 69. just gotta hope they dont have the trap XD
@@vickelibert5637
Meh Lava Golem go brrr
Have they announced any second waves for droplet yet ?
So essentially this deck every other deck in the higher ranks ? Cause personally I find this deck way more fun on how simple it feels
i had a player play crystal wing earlier... didnt activate the effect i get nighting lut with a ton of materials i think my opponent thought they could negate the direct attack which makes 0 sence
Bruh that rokket player played so badly, he did all the bad choices that he could've done
I just cooked this deck with my evil eye. I do t have it in my deck but dark ruler no more. Try that
I wanted to build evil eye too but I'm kinda short on primo gems.
Bird in MD NOW birds in DL enough of the bird meta! 🦆🐦
when was the last time we got a character archetype that didnt get to be top tier?
Probably would’ve been Altergeist but even that got to tier 3-2
Technically Specter but his deck went to tier 3 for a little bit before unchained came to DL
Definitely Alito. Lead Yoke was past its time, no good skills, and he was at exactly the wrong time for newer cards. Since Fortune Lady of all themes was carried by later stuff this is one deck shoutout to see improvements. Also hoping (coping?) to see Nistro and Boxer Skill/Cards.
@@xyupho7456never was tier 2, it was tier 3 at most, and it fell of really quick, another deck that fell of pretty quick was the Sunavalon guy, Toons weren't meta (it was not a releasing character but it was a deck for a character) and we don't know if Rin will be meta yet
I have Lyrilusc Fatal Five. It doesn't need Fatal Five, but it's just fun 😅
If the first turn player doesn't run Swords of Revealing Light, the game will end on your turn because of Fatal Five.
Nah, I’d Drowning Mirror Force.
