@@T0ga exactly! 😕😕 I mean I watched like till the min 4:30 and thought she's not figuring it out yet so I commented that they added expressions to the dragons and she just replied with the same reply on the top! I wasn't trying to be rude I just thought she didn't figure it out ! And yup I didn't finish the vid bc I thought she's just gonna take a look at the other dragons expansion . And it kinda hurt when I read her reply like I wasn't even trying to be rude just wanted to help but whatever 😕🤷🏻♀️

Some people might've watched close to the end, but before the part they said they knew it was happiness animations, and thought silver really didn't know before they made their comment and just wanted to help

When I first the expressions I was shocked. "Is this my dragon? Why does he look sad?" Then realization hit me. I think an explanation would've been handy, but that's SoD for you. Awesome video Silver!

I realised it too, I think they added more emotions to the dragons, so it looks happy when its happy, and when they are sad they actually look down. I have no idea if it will stay like that after dreadfall event.

All dragons have they're own expression lol I remember when I first saw it I was like oof there's a glitch but when I left the game and get bk it's still ther I was like there's something wrong with the dragons, but when I saw a vid about it I said ohh so it's a update oof XD
I have finished the vid, and yeah, these are happy dragons. And sad dragons! I love the new animations! Idk about you guys, but my PERSONAL favorite is the Flame Whipper happy animation. It's one of the cutest!
Also, when your Whispering death/Screaming death is happy, they stand up and smile.
Special needs toothless has Rubbed off on them😟🤪 great video silver, I personally really like the addition of the new animations. They make it feel more realistic😊

You know, when I first got my Woolly Howl (2 days ago, mind you) I actually thought that the happy stance was its idle animation. But when I changed to Toothless, he did it as well! It was starting to creep me out, so I closed the game and just watched UA-cam to avoid going insane. Then, I changed to my Whispering Death. He was doing it too. I was started to get even more creeped out. It was very.. Scary. When I changed back to the Woolly Howl dragon, its stance changed. It was looking, er, sad. Then.. It, er, kinda hit me. They added the fact that emotions will now effect their poses. And my Deadly Nadder was doing the stance as well. It was very creepy, I mean, they could've, like, posted it on their website, because I check it for updates hourly. I checked, and nothing there was new, so when I came into the game, I got frightened. Or, they could have posted it on the update board of the game when something is new. But, instead, they decided to make it a surprise! They gave me a heart attack! It's very scary if you think about it. The dragons are acting too lively for my taste. Honestly I want to go back to the days where they didn't have those creepy emotions effecting their poses and stances. They could have just made it less creepy, or less lively. It scares the heart out of me. Sometimes even my soul.
If someone who thinks the new update is cute sees this comment, I'm sorry. I meant no offense to it during this miniature ranting comment, but it's just creepy. I'm sorry if I offended you in anyway, but it's JUST CREEPY. Okay? Too creepy. Just.. Please. Don't send any hate comments my way in the reply section of this comment. The Light Fury is more expressive here than she was in the actual movie.

They’re emotional animations that play when dragons are happy or sad, and dragons will still sit if they stand for too long. I first discovered it with my Goregutter and it looked like it was trynna sniff my arse. Standard animations will play when the dragon in in a moderate emotional state, such as the Light Fury punching or Ruffrunner drifting into a sleep. This change has happened with every dragon, some animations unique and some copy and pasted from others, usually dictated by if the overall animations are from another dragon, such as how the Wooly Howl has Toothless’ animations.

I see that you may assume this as you covered how you noticed that the animations are controlled by the emotion of the active dragon, but sometimes the comment may not be tailored to a specific part of the video but rather all of it and some of a possibly confused audience

I think it's a strange choice too, to focus resources on something like this, rather than solving the severe problems the game is facing. I think the idea of this is nice, but the execution is not so great.

When I first saw this it was genuinely creepy then I found out the reason and was like *"O h"*
They have 3 poses, a happy one for the golden smile, a normal on for the green smile and a sad one for the angry face. Bruh
And also if you look up close while your dragons are sitting and your riding them you could see them smiling.
