Thanks for the great and objective review. I'm trying to get a feel for whether or not I want to buy this card and everywhere you go is now saturated with GamersNexus Fanbois who suddenly act like they are the ones that took it apart... armchair engineers. That's not a snub on GN either, as he was very careful with what he said and even stated that the company had a reason for the smaller pads in a followup video (after they contacted him). I appreciate that you reviewed this independently and without having your own views colored by the anti-Evoke lynch mob. Have you looked at t he non XT version at all? I'm curious how sound levels and temperatures compare on the lower powered card (which is good enough for my needs).
Nice review(*always enjoy/trust @Bit-tech 's reviews ,at your site and here at youtube as well ) but at the OC section why didn't you put OC results for the RTX2070S ? (*although you did manual OC for the Gigabyte RTX2060S ). Comparison among same settings is always my highest priority/concern.
But only on two of the pads? Does it even matter? Seems like it's just splitting hairs if the memory is within acceptable temperature range and the company warranty is three years on this product. Rather than focus on what is a possible performance and durability non-issue (and apparently everyone's favorite thing to focus on), better to focus on the blatant problem with this GPU, which is, IT'S LOUD. That said, Sapphire definitely has the better approach to cooling the memory without creating any need to compromise (I suspect those pads were cut back because they were interfering with the cooling of the processor itself... an afterthought and a compromise. Certainly it could have been a better design though, if that's the case).
Just bought a used one of these. Fans are constantly running at 3500 RPM under load and it sounds like a jet engine. Not sure what the problem is, maybe some weird mining VBIOS. I think I'm going to flash it to be sure.
Leonardo Cavalcante that’s definitely hot, probably too hot, but probably not overly dangerous. Although i do recommend that you increase your airflow in the case or maybe look into a water cooling solution into the card, but i don’t know if water cooling would work.
I have it to and honestly don't worry for the noise it's ok On warzone the gpu start to be a bit noisy but just a the beginning In short for 400€ (im French) it's a real good deal just take the V2
@@keinaelphilemon7304 Hey thanks for replying ;) Its going for a low £350 in the UK, the best price for a 5700XT, and for a snazzy gold build I think a little noise is worth it

Fair point, will try to remember to include it :)
Perfect size to fit in my mini itx built. I'm currently running, Sapphire Rx580 8gb. This would be a nice replacement.
That mod mat xD
evoke 5700Xt costs 370 euros here in France atm, and gigabyte gaming oc 5700xt costs 415 euros. which one should i choose ?
3:28 MSI's fail - look at top pads - it's too small.

Very good review. I would like you to review the Asus Tuft gaming and the Strix, to see how they compare to the other cards in the line up.
We are due to review both at some point!
460 watts? I thaught the rated consumption of this card is at 240 watts?

How do you flash and what is flashing?
Hello, is it a danger that the memory of the MSI Rx 5700 xt evoke reaches 92º? in contact with MSI, they claim not, but I have my doubts.

Change the thermal pads and you have the best card

So pads on memory too small and not centres either. Noisy. Disappointed. As this cards is a neat design.
I have this card and its all ok
Hey!
Is this card noisy on average day-to-day use?
Can you hear it with headphones on?
