Superb... I am a fan of your content... This is my first video that I watched in your channel. I am impressed. I am and Orthopaedic Surgeon and I couldn't fix my hyperextension knee until now. Thank you very much.
I'm old and have led a very active life. An unrelated medical repair left me sedentary for 6 months. Returning to activity resulted in an unexplained swollen knee and calf. My GP was unable to suggest anything than 'ruptured Baker's Cyst' or 'gout', both fantasy. I tentatively self diagnosed Hyperextension and now I've seen your video, I'm certain. Thanks very much, starting on remedies straight away.....gently to start with.
I went back to the doc for two shots after meniscus repair and deduced this hyperextension. I was not walking properly. Now I know the problem, we will solve it ourselves.
i have similar kind problem, exactly happened like started of the video, sudden twist in leg while catching a ball ,first I had ankle swelling, after few weeks i got knee, back neck pain gradually exept knee everyone is not bad but i done MRI of the knee it says that minimal effusion in the suprapatellar recess of the joint i took lot of treatment, exercises done but nothing cured 24h knee heavyness, pain recently come to know that its hyper extension than right knee which is gud ,so my question is there any medicine or something or this exercises enough
hi, I have loose ligaments and my knees are always in a locked state & hyperextension state from childhood? Can these exercises put back the knees in a normal state?
Stepped in a hole mowing. Knee bowed backwards. Knock the breath out of me. Cried from extreme pain. Couldn't move. Dragged my leg walking back to the house. Been in extreme pain for two months. Cry at night. Finally found a orthopedic. Hope he Knows what he sees on x-rays. Idiots in Oklahoma. ER doctor couldn't understand what he was seeing on x-ray. Swelling. Mind blowing pain. If I lay down leg falls to side
Hey Mark! Love your videos as always. I have a weird question but somehow I feel it is worth giving a thought. Can Nordic curls help fix knee hypertextension because the position we are in during the Nordic curls somehow feels to be fixing hypertextended knees. Please reply it would help a lot!
I think they can definitely help if done with good quality. I’d also recommend taking some of that feedback you get in them through the hamstrings and applying it to a variety of movements.
I actually trust your way . Please do respond .i Have knock knees and knee hypertension for one leg and, flat footalso. Which exercises to do first. Which problem to solve first. Or should do for all at a time. This is for my 3 year old kid.please tell me . Can i have conversation with you
Simply it's perfect your channel is really beautiful you got new subscriber ❤ ... I have two questions 1. Do these exercises return my knees and legs to normal, or are they just auxiliary factors? ...... 2. Is this injury permanent so that when I stop exercising or as I get older, will it come back again? ... Thanks for your time ❤
1) These exercises will help to bring you closer to a neutral base over time. 2) Lasting changes are created from continuous input. Higher volume initially and then you can transition into a more maintenance phase over time.

Take them slow. The body is an adaptable system so work through them intentionally and consistently.

@@gekyume6290 no luck :(

@@mark-suski Thanks a lot.
Do you have any recommendations for plantar fasciitis? And do you recommend barefoot shoes?
I just ordered this item and the final total was over twice as much as advertised with the discount. What's going on?

Thanks for the great video. How often would you recommend to do the exercises? All three exercises every day?
I'd suggest working them in 3 - 5x per week. You can do them by themselves or incorporate them into your pre existing program. Cheers Tom.
muchas gracias !!!

Do the other exercises
I wish i knew this in 4-5 grade...
But you don’t have hyper mobility ..
Thank you so much for sharing the above. In my case, i am not able to bend my knee off the left leg ( face knee lock ).
Can people who are using the aid do the above exercise
Only now realizing that your knees are never supposed to lock.
Blud this is high-end content
Happened to me playing soccer I tried to stop and rotate but my leg landed straight and boom
suggestion : talk less do more. i held the position for so long while you kept explaining simple form without moving to next step
Maybe the point is to hold the position for a little while? 🤷♂️
