I love getting home early and starting my husband's supper. He works hard all day and calls me his lovely lady. Been married 33 years so far. Growing older together..sharing the good and bad times if life. ❤❤❤❤
Thelma Ritter & Ann Southern sounded so much alike ...had me so confused! Thelma sounded more rough around the edges but their tones were the same! When Ann was playing it up as a barfly she really sounded like she was playing the wrong side of the tracks type. 😂 Once she got scared that changed.
I have recently discovered these radio plays... Fabulous... Great bedtime listening. 💃
One of my faves. Has a shot of redemption.

Good. I listen to this partly for that ending.
Hooray for you!
Well constructed tale. One of my favorites.
My all-time favorite Old Time Radio episode. Wonderful!
Excellent
I wrote 2 pieces on this episode published in Old Radio Times.
I recognize the voice of Eleanor Audley (the stepmother in Disney's Cinderella) as one of the bridge players in the commercial sections.
Its a good one
This channel only needs 100 million subs to have more viewers than CBS network had when this was aired.
Amaizing some things never get old. 😂
Auto Lgt Auto Light Quack now my parrot is saying it LOL🤣😂😁
I like how they have Maleficent selling auto light spark plugs.

Would the ending be too politically incorrect for today?
