I appreciate that, thank you! I don't really "think" in sheet music because I learned mostly from lead sheets playing jazz when I was a teen. So it would be quite alien to write sheets and/or time intensive to get to the point where it feels natural. But if I'm ever laid off from my real job and have a bunch of redundancy time to use then maybe 😂
how much time do I need to play piano like this
The good news is I was not some piano protégé as a kid and I believe anyone can play this well (and probably better) with enough practice.
The bad news is I have been playing the piano on and off for 25 years 😅. I think with a good teacher and good habits someone could play a song like this in only 2-3 years though.

My life would be so much better adopting the tunes to every Smiles song that touches me that quick. Instead I fly A380 and I would immediately trade that skill..
I reckon if you can fly a plane, you can develop this skill. Never too late to work on it!

I'm afraid because I neither use not write sheet music, I don't have anything to share. This is the best I can offer while fitting practice and recording around my real job.
