Any idea where to pick this up now? As it seems thrunite have pulled their uk amazon shop. Im looking for a pocket size "tactical" thrower style light. Was thinking between this or the acebeam p16.or any other recommendations you might have
@@Pyrotech181 Wurkkos FC12 was a bit of a TN12 rival
@FLASHAHOLIC_TV i have seen this one pop up a few times now. I think in the "tactical" group mode, it may be a good option to try. Especially at a third of the cost of the p16. I have never tried a wurkoss but have read pretty good things on reddit... which is another world on its own to go through😁
@FLASHAHOLIC_TV i have seen that mentioned a few times and at a third od the p16 cost it might be worth a shot. Especially in the "tactical" group mode. Mainly wanting immediate access to turbo/strobe. Have tried to look on the flashlight reddit but wow can that be another world...😁
ThruNite is kicking butt with this new SFT 40 LED in a very affordable thrower.
I really enjoyed your video. I was listening with headphones, and I ended up throwing them off of my head when you got to the "dangerous forest". I was not expecting that, it's my first time here! As for the flashlight, this might be my favorite Thrunite. It seems like Thrunite took awesome elements from their BSS V4, and combined it with the TC15, and added the USB C charging from the TT20. Thank you for sharing.
Regarding the TN12 Pro: Has anyone else noticed that when you use the double lockout (side button and tail btton ) feature, there is a significant amout of parasitic drain?
It doesn't seem to have a significant drain when using just the side button lockout feature alone.
Just bought TN12 Pro for 40 bucks, hope its' as advertised.
Great review. Got me at the end. Haha! I just got mine today and it’s insanely bright. Can’t wait to use it at work.
this is a nice light. If it had a higher runtime id like it more than the fc12. Still a great light with superior throw.
Yes! Love thrunite. All mine have been stellar. Really like the turbo only rear switch. Just ordered the fenix pd35 v3.0. Fenix is awesome too but the interface is superior on the thrunite.
So thus far how do u like the Fenix pd35 v3 against the pro?
@Aqua Sound-Escapes My Fenix was mounted on my gun, but I think for $50, this light is unbeatable currently.
@@Spolt_main guess I gotta try… 1 more light 😬 😂
I'm so glad the other flashlight is a wuben c3 which is my first real high lumen and I just bought the thrunite today and wanted to find out the difference side by side but figured no way someone would compare the two just for my convenience and then I found this video only 4 months old
The Convoy S2 looked great through all the tests as well. I just bought the TN-12 though.
Is the light in this vid cool white or neutral?
Thrunite makes some awesome lights but a lot of them look the same
I love my fc12. This looks like really good competition, but it's definitely more expensive.
I like ramping UI's but the beam on this is far nicer than the narrow FC12
got one its great, nice review thanks....i have wuben c3 ,l50 and l60 both l50 and l60 throw great too, but this is the farthest 1 inch tube light there is right now if thats what you need. can you do a thrunite TN 40 review i hear its a monster of a light, thanks
Nice hotspot and useful spill. This flashlight will be a winner imho.Just wish the runtime on Turbo stepped down after 7 minutes to 700-800 lumens though!!!!!!
salut flashaoliks , est ce que la Tn12pro est démontable en 2 ou 3 parties ? merci 👍
I buy an sft40 for my sofirnsc31 I think it would bé very similar
Always great reviews. Really nice light. Thanks for scaring the sit out of me…
I really do love this flashlight, I wish there was a way to turn on just the button led. Would make it easier to find in the dark.
The fact that it gets so hot is a dealbreaker. Otherwise impressive.
The jump scare really got me at the end
Had to sub. someone stole my Fenix pd36r and I didnt know about Thrunite at the time they seem a lot more affordable
Hello mate. Is it worth paying double what the FC12 costs for this one?
Definitely, the TN12 is epic, but look out for a discount code for it.
You see me what?
I came for a flashlight review, as far as that goes it was pretty good but the rest is non-sense!
Based on 1Lumen review Convoy S21B with CULPM1 might be better "pocket thrower".
It would be helpful if you could review the S21B/21A SFT40 and CULPM1 to see the difference between the two emitters.
Olá. Gostaria de ver as Nitecore MH12SE e Fênix PD 35 V3.0 🇧🇷
How’s it compare to the Thrunite TC15?
No contest, the beam on this one is a purists dream. Wide spill and throwy as hell. Instant turbo at the side or rear is awesome
Thanks mate
Does this flashlight turn on in your pocket on it's own much?
How does it compare to the FC12 with a good cell?
Hey man I've owned the catapult mini but I traded it. Now I want another thrower and this one seems to be slightly better. Brighter and throws farther, but Amazon says the mini throws farther. Can you help me out please?
Mini should go further
So glad I did not watch this wearing headphones. A friend recommend this torch for its throw and EDC value. It's on the shortlist :) Thanks for the review and comparisons. Question: is it "any colour you like, as long as it's black?" Also, one year on, is there a new winner? Thanks!
I'm not aware of other colours, Thrunite are nearly always black. TN12 is still best in class imo
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV ah. AliExpress do a tan colour
what can handle close to 2000 the longest without getting to hot?
Hi, if given the choice for compact thrower, which would you choose, between Sofirn IF22A, Wurkkos FC12, and Thrunite TN12 Pro? and why would you choose the one over the others? Thx!
TN12 by a mile. Brightest spill of the 3. Other two you really have to push the power to light around you.
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV sweet, thank you so much! placing an order soon.
Hello sir! What Vapcell battery model do you recommend? Is it safe for TN12Pro to use 25A battery?
I'd go for the 2800mAh vapcell. 25A will be fine.
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV thank you sir 🙏🏻
Is this a better flashlight than bss v5?
I love the size of this light, the throw, the defined spill, and the tail switch. The sensitive side switch makes this a no-go for me. Do you have any other lights that are similar in size that have a similar beam profile? I tried the Acebeam P16 but it doesn't have a bright enough spill for my liking. Thanks for any recommendations!
Another question: what is it about the TN12 Pro that creates the defined border of the flood? I prefer that over a fade into darkness.
@@alphakilo47 Reflector beam profile, the TN12 is quite wide though, which is nice. The WURKKOS FC12 is a similar light
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV thank you!
Hadirr
Looking for recommendations. Love the beam profile and the (narrow) head and body profile of this light. Also been looking at the Convoy S21E with SFT40. Are there any other pocket thrower lights with a similar shape anyone could recommend me to have a look at before I buy? This light is no longer available on amazonUK 😕Love the channel too btw, keep it up with the eerie music 👌😁
Wurkkos FC12.
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV cheers lad 👌😁
Fenix pd35 v3. Has the same SFT40 emitter and I just bought a thrunite tn12pro. They are both the same brightness on turbo.
Runtimes on the fenix with a 3,500mah battery are longer
It would be a nice touch if you would include Fahrenheit in the review. 😉
I'm in the UK.
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV I know my friend you have viewers all over the world 👍🏻 I love collecting flashlights. I really like watching your reviews
I reckon it’s hot. Haha!
Their government doesn't let them have pointy sticks, be grateful he even mentioned how hot it gets. They could get them taken away, I'm surprised he wasn't arrested for shining it on houses.😆 Great jump scare!
Is this the cool white or neutral white version?
CW I believe
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV ty very much, was undecided between the two
First
Is this light better than the Fenix PD32 V2?
For me, yes. For you? No idea. I prefer turbo access from the tailswitch and no sideswitch but this light is good enough for me if I had to carry it everyday.
Mode spacing is my 2nd priority. The pd32 v2 lacks a mode between 50 and 350lm.
@@nekkomr Thanks, I ordered a PD32 V2. It's half an ounce lighter, and it has a smaller diameter according to some people. So I'm guessing it would be easier to EDC. I also ordered a Condor S21b but I don't plan to EDC it because it's a bit too big and heavy.
@@junktube4000 oh nice, I have EDCd my PD35 V3 for almost a year and it's been a great light. Very wide spill, good throw and nice beam profile. But I found I like single-handed operation so I recently ordered TK22 Tac for EDC. My first 21700 light as well and I don't have a charger yet, good thing the battery has USB C port haha
@@nekkomr Wow, looks like the TK22 Tac has a phenomenal candela. Great choice.
@@junktube4000 fairly big hotspot and decent throw. SFT70 is like the middle ground of SFT40's throw and SBT90's lumen output. But the rotary dial is what I liked about it :)
Do you reckon that a 21700 battery with 8A is enough to power a 2200 lumen SFT40 unit? Or must i go for 20A minimum
Yeah the protected button top Thrunite 3400mAh pushes it close and that must be pushing 8A or less
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV thanks!
Im new to this. So sorry if I ask questions frequently in your commentsection 🙈
8A enough to push a 4600 Lumen Acebeam E70? I impulse baught 2x 8a 21700s 🤠
