      Main reason may be either be because a lower key is easier to sing. As a singer myself and trying to learn this song ATM (that's why I'm lurking their live shows) this one is pretty high in the male register. Another reason may be because the band thinks it sounds better live ot they lowered it to standardize their guitars' tuning for every song of the gig (but I doubt it).
